Supernatural Store OOC

[Phantom Sekai]

So as described in my Int Check this rp is about a group of friends that work in a store together. The twist on it is that instead of being regular people, they are supernatural beings. See the year is 2015, and in 2012 the monsters of the world revealed themselves, and now 3 years later everything has calmed down enough that both groups can coexist peacefully.

There are still a few things I need to work out, mainly what type of store it is and where the store is located.

Name: Linel Sand

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Race: Sand golem/human. Unlike most golems who's form are made completely of their material, Linel is a half golem half human hybrid creature, so she has a human form and can freely turn her body to sand. If she were to get wet in her sand form, she could get extremely hurt.

Appearance:

Personality: A kind young woman, she hates seeing people upset, which makes her the perfect person to work in a retail store. She's always out on the floor, trying to help people decide what they should be, and she also makes an excellent greeter, ushering people into the store and making sure that they feel as comfortable within the store as she can.

Name: Mercury

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Race: Leprechaun. With the help of his teleportation, has the ability to hide corporeal objects in a place only he knows exists. Has the odd weakness of, when sugar or salt is spilt, has to count every grain before doing anything else.

Appearance:
Wears a red suit jacket over a white button up and black slacks. No tie, of course. This is business casual, not men in monkey suits.

Personality: Cunning and sometimes seen as unlikable. He can be cruel in his efforts to get what he wants, but he always seems to have a plan. He's good with money and finances. If it were his choice, he'd stay as far away from people as possible. That is, until they had something he wanted. Due to his modest dislike of other people, has a tendency to play tricks on them.

Name: Ben “Creep” Archi’shirox

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Race: Mushura Raptor (“cursed”): The word ‘cursed’ is a loose term to describe what Ben is, but generally he is a type of creature that is thought to had been created from the earliest forms of rogue arcane magic that transformed one Archaeopteryx into a human-like magical creature where strength is swapped for magical abilities. The creature had changed almost completely from this feathery dinosaur into a creature that looked similar to one that would evolve millions of years later, becoming wise and gentle with impressive magical power, essentially becoming the first animal-like wizards of the supernatural world. When a Mushura is dubbed as “cursed”, it means they have an unfortunately high level of arcane magic in their systems that may cause the afflicted to mutate into a horrendous and primitive creature, bringing shame upon the race with its hideous visage. The transformation can be held off so long as the afflicted Mushura uses its arcane magic and doesn’t experience extreme emotional trauma. Other than curses, magic and a strange shape, Mushura are agile, tough-skinned, have superb vision and have feathers that can extend on their arms allowing temporary flight. Despite Mushura holding a certain name-claim, many have become used to being simply called 'Shaman' due to some having an exaggerated dress sense as they perform their incantations.

Personality: Ben is gentle and kind-hearted, a trait commonly seen in the shy and mysterious Mushura. While it is extremely difficult to accidentally harm somebody with Mushura magic, Ben is often scared that it might backfire when he practices it and will keep to himself when he needs to learn how to control it properly; otherwise he is very social and tries his best to help others through his shyness. He’s quite a big eater despite his small frame and isn’t afraid to partake in alcohol, especially after only discovering the ‘magical elixir’ when they were able to reveal themselves. He takes insults lightly, preferring to shrug them off than become angry and go monster on their asses. Despite his less-than-creepy personality, Ben earned the nickname ‘Creep’ after co-workers from his first human job noticed how strangely fascinated he was with human beings; despite how nasty the nickname appears to be, he doesn’t mind being called it because it’s such a human-specific word making it almost fascinating.

In his monstrous form, Ben becomes vicious and quick to react; however, he isn't quick to try and kill. He'll threaten and hiss at any creature that's larger than something that can fit into his mouth, shaking his feathers angrily. Ben retains some level of control in this form so long as he is able to focus on familiarity making him quick to recognise humans and less likely to attack them, so long as they don't attack him; however, he may attack other supernatural creatures that are recognised as hostile through primal instinct due to millions of years of exposure to the changing supernatural world. The form may not last long, but the time he spends in this form is always undetermined and random. He'll eat anything in this form, from trees to trying to munch down car tires.

Name: Korin

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Race: Lamia- A race of snake-like humanoids; the top part of their body is humanoid, bottom part is a long snake tail. This makes it difficult for them to operate in human society, as their reptilian appearance strikes fear into the hearts of their enemies. Despite their appearance, they are a gentle and rather timid race, and are quite the romantics. The tip of their tail is slender and versatile, like an elephant's trunk, but is also very sensitive, and of it is hurt, it can send them into shock.
Their internal organs and upper body structure is much like humans, however they are very strong and fast because of their tails, and can scale tall buildings and reach speeds up to 50 MPH. Like snakes, they need to bask in the sunlight frequently to regain their energy, and don't do well in cold environments. Heightened sense of smell, hearing, balance, and sight. Their scales are as tough as granite and quite heavy. The upper part or their body is unprotected and vulnerable, like a human's. They emit an aphrodisiac in their saliva to encourage copulation, and have venomous retractable fangs.

Personality: Korin is quiet and shy, hiding from people she does not know, and has a fear of spiders and humans. She is innocent and because of this, most think of her as simple. True, she's not the brightest crayon in the box, but being isolated from the outside world for so long, you can't blame her. She has a fondness for learning, though she cannot read, and speaks in broken English, not understanding much of the vocabulary. Once she gets to know a person, she follows them like a baby duck, imitating what they do.
Although not a very violent being and a scary cat, she becomes very territorial when she finds something she likes, guarding it like a dog. Because of this, she has a horde of unusual objects in her room, making it more of a messy nest than a room. She likes messes more than cleanliness, and sometimes makes messes just for the fun of it. She likes to cook and eat Lamia food, which tends to disgust others because of how completely weird it is. She has a voracious appetite, although she can survive without eating for weeks on end, thanks to her reptile metabolism. She loves colors and experimenting with human cooking, and so explosions are not unusual. If eating her food, make sure your will is in order first. Is also an expert potion brewer.

When she was an egg, she became separated from her clan, mistaken by bounty hunters as a dragon egg. When she hatched, disappointed at how it was a Lamia and not a dragon, she was set to work as a slave soon after her birth, cleaning and the like. She was raised being told that this was her lot in life, that it was her destiny to slave. She was sold again, this time to a merchant, to be used as a packer, at age eight. She worked hauling heavy bags along her tail across the desert, for four years, back and forth across the sand. At twelve, she was spotted by some of her clan members at a market, who quickly freed her and took her away. Not knowing who they were and why she would be separated from her master, she was afraid, but soon came to understand what freedom was.
She stayed with her clan, learning more about her roots and culture, until her twenty-first birthday, when it was decided that she should go out into the world to show that Lamias were not enemies of man.
