It's a basic idea of a RP I'm very eager to do, just like someone else on this forum I know. Problem is, we might are be horrible GM's, I probably don't want to be a GM, and it's still very vague.

Well, they were, untill Germans fielded "acht acht"'s against them. They were pretty much invincible to everything the Germans could throw at them untill they used the tiger I or 88mm flak guns in AT role. Then again, vaguely specified time?
Who knows, I might roll out in a jagdpanther, in a ferdinant or elephant, a tiger I or II, or a panzer III or IV, and get powned.
What will be the time setting?
I'd say operation Barbarossa but that's up to the person that creates this.
Inform me, that's 1941? Germans will be fucked against KV-1 and KV-2's, although most USSR tank force was T-26's back then. Pretty much cannonfodder.
1941 yeah. USSR tanks didn't actually come as far as the front line before getting shot to pieces by the far superior German tanks.
Well, they fielded mostly T-26's, being a 10 year old design, fighting against a tactically and strategically superior army fielding tank that were facing tanks developped in the latest 2 a 3 years.
