Presea turned around seeing the panicking creature trying to solve his problem. "Ah... I.. I-It's okay, don't worry. Just.. I want to go home now, I'll come back tomorrow and I'll see if you made up your mind." she stuttered a bit. It was because Ben looked so nervous and she got nervous as well. She shook her head to get her mind straight again. "Again, my condolences, good luck with the store. Well.. I shall be heading back home now." Presea waved and smiled gently at Ben before walking away. Presea felt bad for him. "I guess it must be hard for them, and now I just come in telling them I'm free to take over her job. That was so rude.." she sighed and turned around once more to see what street she was in. She didn't have google maps, her phone was dead and nothing she could do about it. Presea stood still, wonderig where she had to go to go home. "Uhm.." She didn't even know where she was. "I even have to go back to ask where I am, I'm such a difficult customer.." Presea walked back to the store sighing when infront of the door and looked down when she entered. "Uhm.. C-Could you tell me what street I am in and how to go back to the... Uhm.." Great, now she even forgot the name of her street. "To... To the large park.. Uhm.. I forgot the name.." Presea squeezed her eyes closed cuz she felt terrible. Such a letdown for her. "I'm sorry.." she sighed.

Clarissa looked up from the candle she had lit for Lilith when Presea returned to the store and asked for direction. Clarissa gave the girl a smile then she took a note pad from under the counter and begun to raw up a simple map.
"Sure come here and I will give you a map. You are going to St. Helena park right? The one that have the bus station on one side? Well to get from here to there you go out, and then to the left."
Clarissa pointed at her quickly dawn map.
"Walk to Minda's Coffee shop and take to right right and you should see the park."
Clarissa handed Presea the map and gave the woman a big smile.
"Do you think you can find your way now or do you need further directions, one of us can escort you safely to the park if you need it, just let me know."

Mercury opened the door with a light creak. He peered out for a moment before stepping out. He had changed out of his iconic red suit and into a blue vest and black dress pants instead. His hair had been recombed and yet, despite all this, he still looked very disturbed. He was munching much slower on the expensive candies. Mercury stepped over to the register and opened it. He started counting the money meticulously.

He just had another conversation with Jack. This time it was about the loss of Lilith. Both of them knew it would ruin morale and Mercury immediately regretted announcing it like he had. He had thrown everything out of whack and now everyone was going to mourn. It would've been better to just tell them Lilith quit or was still running errands. Mercury started thinking up answers to some questions that might be asked. Then he realized those answers probably weren't so great and made up some lies instead. More believable, at least.

Mercury started making a list of things that needed to be done. Things that needed to be bought. Things that needed to be sold or else they'll expire. He kept flicking the bills between his fingers. He was slowly returning to his usual self. Ah, the power of money.
Who can resist the gentle smile of the invidious aristocrat?

Ben was immediately even more stricken, he was just failing to please today and was scaring customers off more than welcoming them. He didn't mean to be acting nervous and jittery, the effect of knowing Lilith was killed was really getting to him and trying to get his curse to light up in front of everyone; he wasn't called 'Creep' for nothing, he always appeared rather creepy in the way he acted towards others not to mention that freaky second form of his. He didn't like feeling like this, it was hard enough trying to concentrate his extreme magical abilities rather than the mere focus on his emotional state. Ben had to run back into the shop, ignoring the others as he went into the back and down into the basement. He had a cage for himself down there, one that he had made himself after he had been employed. The cage was large enough for a werewolf to be housed in there if they ever needed to be while he wasn't using it, but for now he definitely felt like he needed to go in there just incase his gut feeling was correct and that he was going to transform. Hiding in the corner of this dark cage, he crouched down on the floor and covered his face, his tail wrapping around him as if to try and shut out the noise from above.

"No, no, I'm fine. Thank you so much, and sorry for asking." she said and nodded to Clarissa. The map was a little hard to read but it was okay for just this small area. "I will find my way when I'm at the park, my house is nearby." she said happily as if she pleased Clarissa by telling. "I guess I shall be heading now then. Thank you once again and-- I'll be here tomorrow again for if you made up your mind." she decided not to say anything to remind them of Lilith. Although she bit her lip when she noticed that what she said was probably going to give the same effect. She'd be taking Lilith's place
If she was going to be employed. "I-I don't mean to--" Presea sighed and already stopped before saying anything else. Another mistake! Why are you acting like this Presea?! she thought to herself. "I'm sorry, I'll be going now." once more she bowed a little and walked away from the store holding the drawn map infront of her to find her way back home. May you rest in peace dear one. she said in her mind about Lilith. I may not even have known you, or even remember your name, but every death I come upon must be thought of.

He had been right, in some respects. Routine was the only way to cope. To fall back on patterns that had already been established. that meant you didn't have to think. Nesmeir cut everything out, and wandered to the back of the store where the small little herbs sat on their trays. They were still green, still drank in the light and water, still breathed. They still lived. The world had not ended. It only felt like it.

He began to go over each plant meticulously, looking for even subtle flaws that he would be able to trim, and thus ensure that the rest of the plant remained healthy. Slowly, plant by plant, stem by stem, leaf by leaf, Nesmier began to breathe again. Mercury would explain when he felt ready to. Whether or not the leprechaun would lie was another matter all together, but he wouldn't leave them hanging for long.

The new girl who had shown up at the wrong moment left, and Mercury emerged from within, trying to look presentable once more. Ben disappeared downstairs, and Clarissa seemed to be trying to distract herself from thinking about anything.

Nesmier turned, abandoning his plant inspection halfway through a leaf. If Mercury had come out it meant that he would be ready to tell them... something. And, whatever it was, Nesmier needed to hear it as much as everyone else.

Clarissa nodded to Presea an gave the girl a slight smile, she had to keep calm and keep focused and most important of all, keep her mind occupied, everything was falling apart around her, but Clarissa still smiled.
"I am glad to hear it, I hope you get home safely."
Presea then in a bit roundabout was mentioned them decided whatever or not to hire her, she would take Lilith's place. Clarissa gave another sad smile, she did not want Lilith replaced, she wanted Lilith with them safe, happy and alive, but that was not going to happen, the little demon was dead and gone. Clarissa looked at Presea as the woman left then sigh, and yet working with that strange girl might be interesting, the young vampire hoped that the girl from the Phoenix Forest would begin to work at their store, she did not want Lilith to be dead, but since she was, making a new friend would not be to bad.

Clarissa noticed that Ben was hurrying downstairs to his cage probably, for a while the vampire wondered if she should go after him and check on him to make sue that he was alright, but she decided against it, most likely Ben would want to be alone right now. Mercury had come down the stairs again and he was counting money compulsory, perhaps he would tell them all what had happened to Lilith, but it would not matter, his words could be truth or lies but without knowing which came out of the small creature's mouth it would not give any sense of closure when he told his tale. Clarissa sigh, she might as well make herself useful now that everyone else had forgotten about Mrs Atkins and her shopping list, so Clarissa went to find the items the witch required herself, her movements slow and lethargic as she did so.

James woke up from his quick nap in his shoebox to discover that a small patch of mold was growing in the corner. He groggily got up and grabbed a spoon that was in the corner and shoveled out the mold onto the floor outside his makeshift home. James struck a match, his last one, to see better in the dark of the near-abandoned closet only t see his reserves were running low. James grabbed his stomach and felt it rumble, his mouth was also dry and the stagnant air made it hard to breath. Still not the worst place he had ever lived in. James slipped under the floor boards and made a quick check to makes sure no one else was in the basement, just one of the workers who appeared to be napping in a cage. Regardless, James still moved quietly to the stairs and flapped up each individual step, waiting a couple seconds in between each step to see if anyone else would come down. Eventually he made it up the stairs and peeked under the door to see if anyone was standing near, when the coast was clear James crawled under the door and snuck around the corners until he reached one of the many pantries, the flew up the the top shelf. Using a sewing needle he made a small hole in a bag of some kind of grain and made a nice snack out of it, it tasted weird but then again so did everything else in the shop. James patched up the hole in the bag and took another quick look outside. Everyone looked kind of sad for some reason, this started to make James sad as well.

Face it James, you'll have to leave sometime. Either that or you'll die her, maybe they'll find you and squish you like a bug, the mold will kill you, or some lucky spider will turn your insides to mush... It's not that bad though, maybe you can stay awhile longer. James sighed and quietly rested his head against the pantry walls, he didn't even notice himself drifting off to sleep.

Clarissa was picking up the various items on Mrs Atkins order and was about to grab a bag of dried herbs of the shelf when she saw something, a doll laying there. That is curious, the young vampire thinks to herself, could a child have been in here and forgotten a favorite toy? Clarissa smiled a sad smile, if her son had lived he would have had toys as well, and her daughter, the one her former husband kept from her had loved little dolls just like this one. Clarissa decided she should pick the doll up and place it near the counter, the owner of the toy might come back looking for it, it should probably be placed somewhere Mercury did not see it though so that the little leprechaun did not decide to charge a finders fee to return it to the little girl who undoubtedly owned it.

Clarissa reached down and picked up the surprisingly detailed doll with her clawed hand, the toy was probably expensive...it looked almost real. Slowly it dawned on the young vampire that the "doll" was warm to the touch and that it begun to move as she grabbed it...no him, this was a creature of some sort. Clarissa had to fight a surprised yelp as she quickly put a tiny supernatural back on the shelf and looked at him.
"Ehm...everyone we have a guest over here!"
Clarissa called out, then she turned her attention back to the tiny creature on the shelf.
"Sorry...I did not mean to lift you like that, I though you where a forgotten toy left by a customer, I did not mean to frighten you."
Clarissa took a step back in case her size intimidated the tiny creature before she looked at him curiously once more.
    "Who...who are you Sir?"

Jake wiped the counter of the bar as several supernatural species were filing in left and right. It was a popular social establishment in town, next to Out Of This World General. He had made a few stops there over the course of him living there to gather herbs. He had the knowledge of growing his own garden but the simple fact was: He was just lazy. Mandrake, the name of the bar, was unusually packed today than any other day. More than likely it was due to recent events and riots going on in the city and they all wanted a place to relax and not worry about the violence. The bar was hidden in glamours so mortals couldn't see it. Jake wore nothing more than a wife beater and some slim fit jeans, his tattoos exposed on his torso. He played with his ear gauge as he went to the back to get some more shot glasses, bringing them back to the front. A vampire, by the looks of his eyes, approached the bar. "Can I have an O negative mixed with rum?" Jake winked at the attractive vampire. "Sure thing cutie." He went to the fridge and pulled out a packet of blood, heating it until it was hot and then mixing it in a glass filled to the top with Rum. Jake sat it down in front of the vampire with ease. "O negative and Rum." The vampire took the glass, raised it to give a cheers, and drank some. With a smirk, Jake went on to tend the rest of the customers, along with his hired co-worker, Steve, who was a werewolf.

Jake was immediately disturbed when he heard some conflict going on by the tables. A vampire and an unknown creature were brawling on the floor over some money. Apparently they were gambling. The creature rolled over on top of the vampire and broke a chair, creating a stake. He raised it and was gonna slam it into the vampire's chest when Jake waved his hand in that direction, the stake combusting into fire. The creature dropped in immediately, the fire burning his hand. "There is no fighting my fucking establishment! If you're gonna do that shit, you take it outside now!" The bar stood quiet for a moment. They knew that Jake's reputation stood and that he had no tolerance for bullshit. He was one of the feared witches around and pissing him off would not be the smart thing to do. The two fighting creatures looked at each other and parted ways, the fight ending just like that. "Thought so," said Jake. The bar commenced to being loud and everyone went back to what they were doing. "You handled that well," Steve said chuckling. "Well, there's already enough damn violence out there. I don't need it here." Jake's voice was stern, almost cold. He went back to serving drinks and other beverages.
