Wait, I'm here. Just haven't had much to say.

Well, I can't help but feel like we don't necessarily need to restart the IC, given the small start we have at the moment.

I mean, let's take stock of what we have:

- The Owl is at a busy, interesting port location

- The principle characters that have been in the game (Iris, Ollie, Tailla, etc.) are on their way back to the ship. Merle and I have been conspiring on Henri and Iris getting back in a fairly entertaining way; Merle has just been busy.

What we can do is just have the Owl take off, let the cast get to know one another through dialogue for a little while, then Jackson can come down with the Next Phase Of The Story, which can be whatever you were planning for the 'next' IC.

Please don't take this as a demand - I just really want to see Merle's post, and I thought I'd offer a suggestion.

Fie thinks a simple solution is to have Nigawatts edit in the first post to have Ollie on board as crew already and Fie will just redo her opening post. In all honesty I would rather do that than go through the 'getting to know you' and 'why should we trust you phase' that is inevitably coming up.

We are only four posts in so Fie does not mind redoing her post.

Lovely. Thank you, -Naril- Fie would also have to re adjust the CS to accommodate the changes but Fie does not mind doing that. There is a lot of material in my intro post to use so i could just swap names and times, tweak to fit Ollies bio. That way all those ideas will not go to waste too.

Sounds like a simple enough solution, if Jackson needs to change as a character he could conceivably be altered as well both in the OOC and the first IC post.

Though I must admit I am kind of sad to see the passengers vanish, I was rather looking forward to the crew/passenger dynamics.

Oh, man.

Apparently this month I'm seeing how many kinds of takeaway food I can turn into something divine. Last night I threw together some General Tso's chicken and pork fried rice, which is just about as greasy a thing as you can ask from Chinese restaurant. Mine came out delicious and savoury and just a little sweet, without the tacky, cloying flavour of corn syrup or the stomach-deadening feeling of having eaten a spoonful of grease. Definitely worth the time.
