Her growing tension was starting to make even him uneasy And Simon couldn't help but Release a soft whine In response. For a moment, his ears Flattened against his head Before he managed to give himself a shake, both literally and figuratively. It wouldn't help anything if he let her see how much she was affecting him In such a negative way. To try and distract himself, he quickly glanced over his shoulder at the shredded remains of what used to be his clothing. He quite forcibly snorted and looked back at Eve, A slight quirk to his forehead That suggested the lifting of Eyebrows.
"I made such a hasty change That my clothes Got torn to pieces. I'll probably have to go to the store next-door to get something to wear before I can change back...." He said, voice trailing off thoughtfully as he considered going at that moment. But she had asked another question And he was the kind of person that was polite enough to answer before Walking away. "I can change willingly, at any time. It just takes a little effort and I can become either form."
In some ways, it was relieving to be telling her all of this, finally having someone else to share his secret with. Losing all of the others that could transform like himself was devastating, Making him feel like He was literally alone and a twisted form of nature.

Eels! Eels! Eels!
She took this in, her face pinkening a bit at the obvious fact he stated, she should've figured as much. "Should I come with? I could... Just lemme just get Nala in the car and the carts outside..." Eve made an attempt to life Nala, who, in return, gave a soft whine, and stood up slowly on her own. "Come on."
As she lead Nala outside, she kept note of where they'd left the carts, so she wouldn't forget. Nala, of course, needed a bit of a boost to get in the car, but, other than that, she was doing fairly well considering the circumstances. Once Eve returned to the store, she grabbed both the carts, pushing them in a fairly awkward way, but to the best of her abilities. The two carts rested by the car and she figured she could put the supplies in the car momentarily, glancing around to see if Simon had went to get clothes on his own. "Simon?" Her voice was meek, unsure if she should just stay and get ready to go, or look for him.

Her slight coloring was obvious And Simon felt himself growing hot Beneath his coat, Never really having considered what it would be like To have changed in front of someone who didn't already know his secret. He shuffled his paws For a moment Before snorting quietly to himself.
Following after her quietly as she took the injured dog out to the car,, he Decided to investigate what he could see from the front window It gave him an opportunity to give Eve a little breathing room And a chance to catch her breath Before she would have to be faced with him once again. It also gave him a moment to collect his own shaky Breath, Slow the pounding of his heart. Placing his front paws On a barrier of concrete in front of the store window, His brown eyes flickered Around the Contents of the store he could pick out. His nose wrinkled slightly, But it wasn't very obvious whether it was from amusement or discussed..
An ear Twitched at the sound of his name and he quickly turned his head to look towards his friend. "I'm over here." He Called, Giving his tail a slight wag.

Eels! Eels! Eels!
Eve turned to see him, still a bit taken a back at his wolf form, though fairly good at not showing it at this point. "We should probably hurry up so I can get Nala home..."
She joined him by the store, peering in and huffing. "Well, I guess you should just get whatever you can find and change quick, I'll just ah...look around while I wait." Eve smiled a bit, opening the store's doors and proceeding in, beginning to wander along the fairly empty racks of clothing. She didn't really need anything from the store, but she wasn't quite sure if she'd feel safe outside along after what had happened.
Part of Eve wondered what they'd do now, after what she'd learned about Simon, she wasn't quite sure if things would be normal between the two. But she wasn't any more afraid of him now than she was before. Still, it was a strange predicament.
If you open your heart you might like what you find.

Nose Twitching slightly as he followed Eve Through the open doors of the store, He found himself releasing an almighty sneeze as The dust tickled inside of his nostrils. Shaking first his head, then his entire body, he Cautiously glanced towards his friend With an embarrassed tilt to his ears. For a moment, he considered Saying something to her, even going as far as opening his mouth Before he realized that Doing so might not be the best idea. Mouth Closing with a soft click, He instead gave his head a bob and trotted Away from her, tails slightly tucked Between his legs.
In the end, it didn't take him entirely long to find what he needed, Especially with the selection so thin. Making quite sure that he was completely out of sight, he Balanced up onto his back paws And concentrated for a moment. With a swift ripple, His body went through another transformation. Human Once again, Simon hurriedly snagged The pair of boxer shorts Off of the hanger And pulled out the various tags Before stepping into them. He then quickly picked up the pair of jeans he had located earlier And deposited onto the Floor near by And slipped These on too. Yanking Off the tags and stickers, He wondered over to the selection of shirts And found one that was a grey green color, Only hesitating long enough to check that the size matched.
Standing in his bare feet, He began to quickly look around for the purple hat That would tell him which direction he needed to go. His stomach abruptly bunched Into nervous knots As he spotted it moving around in a nearby section of the store. Silently hoping that she wouldn't be afraid Of him as much in this body, he quietly padded Over to her."How did I do?" He asked lightly, Surprised at how lighthearted he managed to sound

Eels! Eels! Eels!
Eve was never much of the type to swoon over clothes or any material object, really, but it was refreshing to have the opportunity again, despite not needing anything. So refreshing, in fact, that by the time Simon returned to her, she had collected quite the armful of shirts, sweaters, pants, even a skirt or two. "Hm?" She turned to look at him, smiling a bit in relief to see him as himself again. "Looks good...do you need shoes? If there aren't any here, my neighbor was about the same size as you, I'm sure he's got some things lying around you could use, shoes being one of those things..."
It seemed much less tense what with him not being a wolf and all, Eve's heart definitely felt lighter now. Though, at the same time, she felt guilty. Why should she feel different about him as a wolf? It was scary, but judging him due to this...it definitely sunk in a lot of guilt for her, seeing how it didn't change him as a person. Eve tried to shake it off for now, laughing a bit before adding, "We should probably get the groceries in the car before I get any more clothes in here!"
With nothing more to say, she began to make her way out of the stores, arms admittedly getting a bit tired from carrying all she was. Eve hoped they hadn't gotten too much, seeing as Nala was hurt, she hoped to not have to put too much in the backseat by her, if anything at all.
If you open your heart you might like what you find.

The feeling of relief began to settle across his shoulders As she continued to talk, her behavior more of what it had been before he had changed. It made Simon break into a smile That was wide enough to crinkle the corners of his eyes. He fell into step beside Eve And easily reached down to her, taking all of the clothing she had collected from her arms And gathering it into his own. Now that he Had arms again, he wasn't going to be making her do all the work.
"I could do with a pair of tennies. My feet can be tough, but not that tough." He chuckled, flexing his toes For a moment to prove his point As they made their way out of the store.
Coming to a stop as they reached the car, he tilted his head as he inspected The very full carts they had filled. After a moment, he nodded his head and smiled up at his friend. "Don't you worry your pretty little head over getting this into the car. I'll take care of it." And before Eve Could put up any protest, he began to do just that, rearranging things So that he would be able to get as much of it as he could into the trunk of the car And not have to risk anything falling against Nala.
