Jones nodded, feeling bad for this woman trapped in a world of violence, and crime from her father. When they got to the Diamonte Villa, Jones walked her to the door. "Is Body Guard 2 inside already?" He asked, stopping at the door.
"I would get a lecture on loyalty, duty, and roles, a guilt trip is you will. If I refuse again he will forbid me from visiting the children and lock me in my room with guards outside as well as by my door." She said as the house came into view, "It happened once, a few years ago, and I haven't dared to refuse since."

Clara nodded as the door opened and her current bodyguard stood there. He was an older man who rarely spoke and had the luxury of Clara at night. She looked at Jones, "I will see you tomorrow then, thank you for letting me show you my home." She smiled at him warmly; it was easy to smile when she was around Jones, he was friendly and interesting, as well as very handsome.

Jones gave a nod to the other body guard, then looked back at Clara, giving her a small smile. "Thanks for putting up with another one of your father's guards..." he said. He was looking forward to spending the whole day with Clara tomorrow, then started to leave, but then stopped, turning back. "Look, if Guard 2 doesn't want to be up late past his bedtime, i'd be more than happy to take his shift and accompany you tomorrow at that party." He said nonchalantly. What could he say? She was beautiful, nice, and he didn't feel comfortable leaving someone innocent like her with Diamonte's men... she's been with them for far too long.
Clara glanced at the guard who was patiently waiting for her to come in. She knew he'd rather be anywhere else than watching her sleep. It was an odd request that her father had, that a guard be in the bedroom, but Clara had snuck out when she was thirteen to see a boy... Clara looked back at Jones and winked at him, motioning with her head for him to come inside.

Jones gave a smile and walked in after her. "Change of plans," he told the older man in Italian. "I'll take your shift. full of charge. No offense, but I think i'll be more useful in helping Miss Diamonte in any danger..." He added. The man clearly didn't care, as long as he got paid. He turned to Clara, and gave a shrug.
"Just a warning," Clara said as she climbed the stairs to her room, "I sleep talk and spill a ton of secrets." She blushed and shrugged, "Papa says Mama did that too," She tapped on a photo of a beautiful woman who was almost a twin to Clara, but with deep, warm brown eyes. "Papa used to stay up at night just to hear what she had to say."

Jones smiled. "Don't worry, I'll try not to listen..." He saw the picture, and was surprised on how much they looked alike. He followed up the stairs, and stopped at her bedroom door. he waited for her to go in, and stood outside so she could get dressed without him in the room... it was common sense courtesy after all.
Clara swung the door closed behind her, but it bounced open just a crack. Today had been a good day, in Clara's mind and she wasn't about to let this upcoming meeting spoil her night. She sung quietly to herself, a slow lullaby her mother had sung to her when she was young.

Jones waited outside. He dared not go in. He didn't want to be like the other body guards... maybe that showed weakness for the others? because he was American, he was too gentle to take care of Diamonte's daughter, and would soon dispose of him? He shook that thought. He wasn't being too gentle, he was just giving a woman the space she needs.. He tapped loudly enough for her to hear, then poked his head in. "Mind if I take a look around the room... you can never be too sure if someone's hiding in here." he said the last part with sarcasm, but he didn't know if it has actually happened to their family before, so he cussed himself for that remark.
