Clara nodded then hugged Jones tightly around his waist, "I'm so glad you're okay. Come to me again?" She whispered looking up at him.
Jones didnt say anything. He got up and quickly lead them out of the area, and her to her house. His face was bruised and swollen, with a few cuts and blood specs. His hand hurt even more, and wasn't surprised if he had a few cuts on his torso. He wasn't sure if Clara wanted him near her at the moment, so he stopped a few blocks from her house. "This is where I stop before people start recognizing me..." He said quietly.
Clara nodded then hugged Jones tightly around his waist, "I'm so glad you're okay. Come to me again?" She whispered looking up at him.

Jones smiled a bit nodded. "How can I say no to you?" He asked gently. "I'll go back to my new place, get a few things and then climb back up... Don't forget to keep your patio door unlocked." His smile widened a bit more.
She smiled and kissed him deeply, "I'm sorry I pulled away earlier, I've just never seen you like that before my love."

Jones kissed her when she did, putting his hands on her arms. "Its fine... I don't blame you." He gave another weak smile. "I'm sorry they hurt you."
She put her hand to her neck, it stung just a little from the small cut, but it wasn't serious, "I'm more worried about you," Clara said honestly, "I'll bring up a first aid kit to clean you up a bit."

He was going to say he was fine, but to be honest he didn't think he could say it with honesty. Although he was beaten much worse only weeks ago, this wasn't something you could just blow off. "That would be much appreciated..."
"I will be waiting my love," Clara said and kissed him before turning around and walking to her house. Instead of using the front door this time she went in through the back, hoping to avoid her father all together.

Jones made his way back to mico's. he walked into the house when mico's wife gasped at the sight of him. "Mico! Get down here! Jones is hurt!" She screamed. Mico rushed down the stairs while jones rolled his eyes. "It's alright, I'm fine!" Jones said, holding up his hands.
"You look like you ran into a wall, rubbed sandpaper on your bruises, then hit yourself!" Mico screamed, looking at him. "What happened? Did you fight again?" He asked. "Some men I fought months ago decided to get revenge... They hurt Clara so I blanked out.. They're still alive!" He managed to get upstairs and throw his toiletries and some extra clothes. He walked back down the stairs. "I'm going back to Clara's. she'll fix me up.." He gave a smile and pat on the back, as he walked out and to Clara's
Back at her house Clara had slunk around, making sure to avoid her father and cousin at all costs. Finally when she had gathered all her things and a first aid kit she scampered up to her room and locked the door. She pushed open her patio door before kicking off her boots to wait for Jones.
