In this RP children must contemplate their lives and come to terms with their untimely deaths to find peace whilst unraveling the secrets of their past.
When children die their incorporeal selves are let loose in The Powerground, A fantasy land vaguely similar to the real world where their imaginations take form. In The Powerground nothing is impossible. The resident children of this land call themselves The Dead Kid Club and together they strive to defeat dark vicious creatures they call Witches. Witches are extraordinarily strange looking beings that take the form of a child's most painful memory.
All children arrive at The Powerground stripped of their memories of who they once were. It is up to the combined efforts of the Dead Kid Club to restore themselves by slaying Witches. In order to leave this world and enter the after life they must revive their lost memories, find resolution and solve the mystery of their death.
The Powerground The Powerground expands as the Dead Kid Club explore. It's landscape is limitless and draws up on the subconscious imagination and dormant memories of the Dead Kids to take form. The Powerground requires no fuel for any of it's parts to function and it creates a tremendous amount of energy.
In the heart of the Powerground there is a glass casket that holds the spirit of a sleeping girl but not a single soul knows her origin.
Witches Witches are the pet name given to malevolent monsters that roam the Powerground and hunt down the Dead Kids. Witches have behemoth strength and cannot be defeated alone. They derive their form from a child's most painful memory and granted strength equal to the level of despair that memory caused the child. Up on killing a witch the Dead Kid that lay the defeating blow is granted a portion of their memories back.
Witches resemble abstract art.
Chickadee Chickadee is the referee of the Powerground. He oversees the actions of the Dead Kid Club and has the power to reprimand members and detriment the group as a whole. Chickadee is also an adviser to the children, He is the first person to greet them as they arrive and the last person to say farewell. Chickadee will answer all queries and attempt to assist the Dead Kids to the best of his abilities, Or so it seems. What are Chickadees true intentions?
Powers In this land the children are all powerful and gifted with incredible abilities that the real world could never imagine.
This story will reveal a secret twisted Sci-Fi plot. Nothing is what it seems in The Powerground.

Personality: Goldilocks is introverted but cannot be described as a wallflower. She purposely tries to alienate the other Dead Kids as a way of dealing with the lost life she feels has been squandered. Her mean spirited approach to friendship is a result of deep inner turmoil as she is struggles to comprehend what will happen to her from here on out. Goldilocks doesn't play nice: She's temperamental, Impatient and wholeheartedly unkind.
Rarely found smiling or talking, don't be fooled into thinking that this manboy is nothing but a simple-minded kid from Tennessee. In truth, Denim is very intelligent and introspective, though he lives more in his own mind than the world around him. Many wars he's held have left him with scars, both mental and physical. These scars have taught him which situations and people to avoid, how to recognize when he's falling into a downward spiral and how rewind. Denim can easily interact in social situations, though he has a lonely soul and has rarely found companionship deeper than a lighthearted friendship. But he would indubitably welcome it with grateful arms. He seeks only to love and be loved, while struggling with his urge to be independent. He loves fully and expects very little in return. Disrespect is something he won't deal with, quickly flaring into an internal rage. His anger is muted, though nonetheless present.
Small for her age, Whisper is a little on the thin side with watery green eyes and long blackish brown hair that is kept in two little braids. She had a round face with a button nose and a Mona Lisa smile that nearly ever disappears. Whisper wears a long black and white stripped shirt, tan shorts that go to her knees and blue sneakers. She carries around a shoulder bag filled with all sorts of things that she picked up, some of which are useful.
Whisper is a quiet but thoughtful child, filled with imagination. She's fairly cheery, hard to anger and very loving towards everyone she meets, however, she holds terrible grudges and can be stubborn at times. Her pain tolerance is low so she's careful not to hurt herself for fear of crying in front of others. Whisper is very self conscious.
Red is an analytical person. He's someone who always wants to know the answers to the important questions. He's good at getting a good perspective of a problem, and simplifying the possible scenarios and outcomes. He's good at explaining things, and likes to produce a situation for other people to reach their full potential above all else. He's not that good at small talk, and if he does engage in it, prefers to talk about someone else than about himself. He doesn't like to let people too close to it, but doesn't do much about it. If people show interest in him, he will let them, and answer their questions straightly, not winding around things, though some subjects he prefers to keep to himself.
Red values medieval principles, if you will. He puts honor, loyalty, and promises above a lot of other things, and if he were to betray something close to him, he would have a hard time soothing his conscience.
