And much fun was had! I suppose it would be funny to see Jabber basically babysitting a creature whose danger and fear responses are overruled by curiosity.

In other messages, I'm still waiting for you to post

But yea, again the way I see it is simple.

1: The crew come across the syndicate ship, and for some reason decide to attack/board it. Either they destroy the thing, and scree and jabber end up escape podding out of there to be picked up, or come across the prisoners and break them free.

2: Scree and Jabber decide to try and escape (I dunno, Scree's natural curiosity and complete innocence convinces Jabber or something to try), end up stranded in a escape pod, where the ship comes across them.

    Don't mind which one really
    In between RP's

Please! Don't start/join a RP unless you have the time and will. I'm sick of making a million character sheets for RP's that die!!

    Name: Jick Yato
    Gender: Male
Age: he appears to be 35 whilst he is actually way older
    Race: Beetleguesian
    Appearance:
    Crew position: Co-pilot
Skills: Used to be a show pilot, always prepared, knows a heck of a lot of things.
    Merits:
    - Owns the 'Travellers Guide to the Universe' which he is writing. The book contains just about everything you need to know.
    - Can think of over 500 situations where a towel would be useful.
    Flaws:
    - Not very good at fighting
    -
    History:
Jick was born on the now vanquished planet of Beetleguese. From a young age he liked to write, but not fiction like most children he preferred to write about things that he has seen and he knew about. At the age of 17 he had decided, he would write a book on everything in the universe. At the age of 20 he left Beetleguese just in time for it to consumed by a star that went supernova.. He hitched a ride with a couple of 'doozies'. Doozies were rich teenagers from various planets who would hop in their ship, fly to earth and dress up in various outfits and make strange noises to confuse the Humans. Jick had a brief spell on earth and so he wrote a definition of the planet in the 'Travellers Guide to the Universe'. The definition simply stated "harmless" but after a couple of the 'doozies' were shot down he changed the definition to "mostly harmless". He released the book to stores with updates as time goes on. Within it's first week it was one of the most bought controversial books on the market, beating 'God's many mistakes', 'where god went wrong' and 'who is this god fellow anyway?' by 50 copies. After the first edition of the book was brought out Jick studied show racing and took part on many races on the planet of 'Craku'. He learned to fly many ships and wrote an article on it for the Guide. When he heard about James Drake he needed an interview for the guide and so he took the place of co-pilot on the ship.

I see the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe reference there, but the technology to blow up planets doesn't exist. However, planets can be rendered quite devoid of life by destroying everything on the surface... but one does not simply blow up a 6 sextillion ton ball of iron.

No,no it wasn't the death star. It was the molten core inside the planet expanding and blowing itself up.

Molten cores don't expand and blow themselves up either... they're held together by gravity.

Of course, there's a change the star went supernova. That would more or less consume the planet in the process.
