Most people find it easier to write human-like races, so I allow it. I do have a short background story that I use to explain how there are similarities between cultures.

Basically, until about a thousand years ago, the Galaxy was dominated by a race known as the Prometheans. It's know that the Prometheans interacted with the less-developed nations, and also created races through advanced biotechnology and seeded planets with the potential to support life. The most common theory regarding why some races are similar to the humans of Earth is that they received similar influence from Prometheans, prior to the mysterious disappearance of the Prometheans some thousand years ago.

Well that's all I can write comfortably on a phone for my cs. So am I accepted?

    So....If I was a necromancer before...Is this an improvement?
My challenge to myself from now on. I will accompany every IC post with a picture I draw, regardless of how bad it is. I may not be able to put one up if the potato I call my broadband acts up however.

    Name: Turok Var

    Gender: Male

Age: 136 which is equivalent to 30 in human lifespan.

    Race:
Beronian. A race of warlike humanoids they are employed across the galaxy as mercenaries, thugs and enforcers and are renowned for their fighting skills, both honourable or otherwise. They have pale grey skin with jet black eyes with white pupils, they are completely hairless and stand a little taller and heavier set then a human. Are tribally tattooed to mark their passage into adulthood and chosen caste in life on everywhere except the face, with the head deemed to be holy in Beronian society.

    Appearance:
Turok stands at 6'4 which is relatively short for a Beronian but fits the rest of the typical Beronian appearance. He is usually clad in some simple utilitarian pants and a jacket but has a black powered battle armour which makes it lighter, more maneuverable and energy dispersive which is scarred and dented from years of use. A number of scars dot the front of his body with a few on his face and neck but none on his back. Has the red tattoos of the warrior caste, a series of symbols and lines that would appear as gibberish to any non-Beronian.

    Crew position: Security

Skills: Marksmanship, hurting people, protecting assets, combat leadership.

    Merits:
    - Expert marksman
    - Decent melee and hand-to-hand skills
    - Demolitions Use
    - Tactical Ability and leading men in combat.
    - Capable of extracting information.

    Flaws:
    - Can fall short in the intelligence department.
    - Has a weakened knee which requires a few fragile cybernetic parts which can be crippling if reached in combat.

    History:
I prefer to release this through the roleplay.

    Name: Lucius Victus
    Age: 25 (in Realonian years)
    Race: Realonian
A race of very short humanoids. They are known for producing extremely talented scientists due to their heightened intelligence given to them by the Prometheans. However they are very egotistical and stubborn. The tallest a Realonian ever gets is around 5 feet tall. Their skin is pale white due to the fact that they rarely need to go outside. If they ever do leave their ships they cover their entire bodies since they do not like to contaminate themselves. A Realonian is truly a member of the Republic when he or she earns the goggles. These goggles help a Realonian see problems in a ship thus making them good engineers or problem solvers. The color of said goggles are also important but non Realonians are not privy to this information. They are terrible at fighting and will do all and everything they can to not have to fight.

    Appearance
Lucius is average height for a Relonian. He is covered by his white lab suit and his goggles are golden colored. His suit has many different pockets filled with a random assortment of tools. On his left arm there is a small computer that he uses to communicate long distance. He wants to add an AI to the computer but hasn't found a good one yet.

Crew Position: Engineer or any other science realated position.
Skills: Working on ships, fixing problems on said ships, general engineering

    Merits:
-is good for fixing major problems with the ship
    -will follow orders
    - can work alone should need be
    Flaws:
-speaks his mind when he should stay quiet
    -is egotistical
History: A Realonian out of Realonian space is interesting enough. They rarely leave their systems. Why would this one? ((want to do it in RP))
((Really want to be part of this))

How do the goggles work? Seems to me they'd be linked to the internal sensors of the Realonian ships as a way of seeing what the sensors see and finding minor anomalies. Not sure they'd work in an Achenaran vessel, though, and because Achenarans closely guard their technological secrets, he likely wouldn't be permitted to use the goggles on the Vengeance. However, his skillset can be useful even without the goggles, and with Lisa's assistance he won't need them, really. Looks reasonable enough. As for why you left your home systems... eh, there's probably some sort of history there, yeah. But he looks acceptable enough. I think Sxle will be taking on the engineering duties for the power plant, but there's also the warp drive that needs some qualified engineer, so yeah, you're good to go.

Drake hasn't actually talked to the Vel verbally, they've more or less been looking at each other and communicating through wireless cell phones of a sort. So you might want to edit your post to indicate that they're not actually talking, but looking at each other as if communicating somehow.
