Although the prospect of posting in this thread is a wondrous possibility, I am still without a character. I have a framework of a character, but have not filled in the details yet. I am waiting for the following information. I posted this two weeks ago...
On another note, my cold is finally dissipating. I am at Day #15 and the cough is still present. If you can send me a PM with the information pertaining to the questions above, I'll finish up Ser Devon Torgale. And then I'll post him here. I was hoping to get a pic or some artisitic rendition done, but haven't had much luck. I can't find anything online that matches what I am aiming for. I even asked two artist friends of mine. One never responded and the other is busy; she is running an art show up in Maine. I suspect she felt this project was beneath her.

Gunther I am working out the last few details of that information and should have it to you soon.
I'll have my post up tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
Ser Devon Torgale
I found the quality of posting to be excellent. I hope I am worthy in contributing. I have been keeping up with the story thus far. I must assume that I will ride into Antigall and find the survivors and the dead bodies and evidence that someone was there. Then I need to figure out who done it. So far my character has three parties of interest that it could be and he doesn't want to believe it was either of them. I'm looking forward to this once it gets to this point.

I might will do a short post to update on Lyra's position/condition, too.

I read your post today, Sev. Very well done. I like how you paint a picture of your character by uncovering how he feels about the young woman who was his friend recently was married and that he reads books. It sets up his mental frame of mind and his propensity more as an intellectual than a physical person. Attempt to preserve Day's body lent an excellent visual image. Very well done.

I agree with all that has been said.
Sev, your post was well done, It really opened up your character and let me as a reader know a lot about him in just one post, very nice work.
Rulaan and FiroIV are doing excellent jobs of providing darker characters but without slipping into outright hack and slash silliness, I am very excited to see your posts detailing how your character participate and feel about the attack and how they end up left behind after the raid.
Dotcom's work with Lyra is very well done she seems to be setting up to be a strong character but I sense that some deep flaws are there as well.
Dominus, your work so far has been done very well I am eager to see how your character reacts to this attack being the one that is, physically, most capable of defending and be wrapped up in a fight. Maybe a collab between you and one of the Tartarian players is a route to look into, your fight could leave you both wounded of out of your senses.
Gunther, I have seen your work elsewhere on the thread and I think you will be just fine here, I am looking forward to having your character finally come in and I cannot thank you enough for the help you have given in the OOC and via PM and for your patience in waiting to make an entrance.
Once the raid is resolved and Ser Devon Torgale arrives we will have a short post cycle of gathering up survivors, a bit of "who done it" on Gunther's part, and then set off on the trek back to Galus hold which will bring out a lot of character interaction so collab posts are not a bad idea. The trip will also have elements of the classic D&D style overland journey so expect some action and plot points as well.
Great work all of you I am happy you are keeping Elysia going.
I'm glad you mention this. The very last paragraph of my CS suggests that Ser Torgale is not alone. When it is time for the D&D style trek back to Galus Hold, I'll have to get rid of the 80 or so soldiers mentioned below.
It is now 1241 and Ser Devon Torgale finds himself with a detachment of eighty Lancers plodding along an elevation known as the Twin Hills headed west toward a small coastal village known as Antigall. He recalls spending time in this village two years prior in search of the Rebels. Smoke rises from the village, but this is afterall God's Day.
