Nexus of Worlds Tournament (NoW) Character Depot

This is the character depot for Nexus Of Worlds which is a moderate-powered T1 (MP T1) Tier 5-6 Tournament. The in-character events take place within the Great Hall

Tier 5 || The basics of nano technology capable of regenerating minor wounds, or alternatively wizardry or clerical ability capable of the same. You can pilot your own short range star fighter and have access to technology so advanced as to be almost magical in nature. The ability to fly for any reason you can think of that makes any rudimentary amount of plot logic. Your character may have the reflexes and skills of an elite Jedi Knight, the speed of Saito Hajime, and the power to take down Trinity of The Matrix with ease.

Tier 6 || The ability to heal major damage taken both personally, or by others, through the method of your choice. The charisma and influence necessary to muster an army of elite soldiers, and access to the technology needed to build and operate a small space craft capable of interstellar travel (or a magic dragon from the future, whatever floats your boat). Your powers and skills rival those of Gandalf the White, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Himura Kenshin at their best.

Minions or summoned creatures are as following. Only one minion is of 2/3 the casters strength (in this case a tier 4 minion), the rest are considered tier 1 creatures. All minions can be auto hit except the 2/3 tier minion which is controlled by the casting player. But it cannot be the creature that deals the killing blow. Nor is it's damage overwhelming to the PC facing it.

All characters will be reviewed and must fit into the above criteria to participate.

Your Character sheet must include this information at a minimum to be considered for the tournament.

The writer who cares more about words than about characters, action, setting, and atmosphere is unlikely to create a vivid and continuous dream; he gets in his own way too much; in his poetic drunkenness, he can't tell the cart- and its cargo- from the horse.

glory before he dies: that lives on
after him, when he lifeless lies."

I like it Melon, you did a great job stepping out of the box and crafting a unique character that fits the tier 5/6 criteria. Nothing over powered and very balanced. Unless my adviser can find any fault that needs to be corrected I say you are the first entrant to the NoW.

Change it so I can read it....purple not so good.

Hmm...accepted with the caveat you reduce the number of bolts from 100 to 50.

The healing attribute for loss of body parts doesn't take effect during the fight? If I understand it, it is a long term healing process? Also you should be wearing a metal bikini but meh...

The healing reattached limbs wouldn't be during a fight. It can go on weakly after a couple minutes, but would fall off with any trauma at all. The outfit is a metal bikini besides the strings, but I could make those metal as well if you really wanted. That would stop it from burning off, so it does make sense. I didn't think of that until now. I'll edit my drawing when I get the chance

How do you hack things? I assume you will need to spend time trying to do so, and it doesn't happen automatically. Your fear of fire is a phobia and while you can manage it if confronted with excessive displays of fire it will affect you. Please tell us how this will affect you, unsettling and affecting judgement is not how phobias work. Fix that and you will be ok.

    What causes a phobia?
A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder, a condition that activates the “fight or flight” response and creates feelings of imminent danger that are out of proportion to the reality of the situation.

    What is Arsonphobia?

Arsonphobia is the fear of fire. People who have this fear would avoid things such as bar-b-ques, campfires, fire pits, lighters, matches, etc. The origin of the word ars is Latin (meaning fire) and phobia is Greek (meaning fear).

    What are the symptoms?
As with any phobia, the symptoms vary by person depending on their level of fear. The symptoms typically include extreme anxiety, dread and anything associated with panic such as shortness of breath, rapid breathing, irregular heartbeat, sweating, excessive sweating, nausea, dry mouth, nausea, inability to articulate words or sentences, dry mouth and shaking. .

What are the symptoms of a specific phobia?
Symptoms of specific phobia can include any or all of the following:

    • avoiding the object of the phobia
    • fearfully anticipating an encounter or experience with the phobic object
    • enduring an encounter or experience with the phobic object while feeling such a high level of anxiety that the child’s normal routines and activities are significantly disrupted

What are the symptoms of panic disorder?
The extreme fear and anxiety caused by panic disorder can manifest in such physical symptoms as:

    • increased heart rate
    • sweating
    • trembling or shaking
    • shortness of breath
    • a “choking” feeling
    • chest pain or discomfort
    • upset stomach
    • feeling dizzy or faint
    • a feeling of losing control or “going crazy”
    • an “I’m going to die” feeling
    • numbness
    • chills or hot flashes

Experiencing four or more of these symptoms in a single episode is referred to as a panic attack. While panic attack symptoms can last for several hours at a time, they usually peak and then subside after 10 minutes.

Tell me what happens to you, and how it will affect your character, this is listed as a limitation on your character I want to know how specifically it will limit you in a fight.

    Good.
