Occupation: Founder of the Abteilung Der Vollkommenheit, also considered a war criminal, super villain, he had a brief stint as the dictatorial ruler of Argentina, and of course a Doctor with degrees in Medicine, Chemistry, Genetics, and Physics.

Appearance:
Vorian is not a particularly impressive specimen physically. His average 5 feet 10 inch height is thin but not muscular by any means. His hair is pale brown and rather short and his face is slightly rounded with faded grey eyes and a rather thin lipped mouth. His skin is quite pale and in some places marked by old long faded scars. As the Good Doctor Vorian dons his signature mask, created to his exact specifications nearly a hundred years ago. It in truth has some resemblance to a helmet rather than a mask and covers the entirety of his head. It has a total of 6 visor slits that glow red, there are three of these visor slits in front of each of his eyes. The mask itself is matte black in color though there are a few silver lines that mar the perfection of the paint, presumably from impacts over the years. He also wears a version of the uniform that was created for him during the second world war. It has some resemblance to a dress uniform of the time and has an officers cape that reaches the floor. It is in the colors of the Nazi regime though there is no swastika emblazoned upon it. Instead there are six red slanted lines, the symbol of the Abteilung Der Vollkommenheit. He primarily stuck with it as he likes the cape like portion. The attire naturally includes boots and gloves. It is important to note that while the appearance of his attire is inherently old fashioned it does contain the newest in Abteilung Der Vollkommenheit technology, in particular is the highly impact resistant body armor that he wears beneath the uniform, along with weapons hidden in his sleeves. A full list of hidden elements to his attire will be included in equipment.

History:Vorian von Traupitz was born in 1887 in Berlin to the von Traupitz family. He was raised primarily in the family estates some distance outside of the city. His parents were not the sort to be particularly involved in raising their son. Though they were mystified at their only child's seeming inability to become ill when illnesses frequently swept the household. As time went on his other more bizarre tendencies drew more of their limited attention. Among them were habits of dissecting animals and a fascination with how things fundamental things in life really worked. And perhaps the most revealing of his future was the way the youth had an intense interest in diseases and afflictions. When individuals on the estates took ill he would always want to examine them, though in his childhood years he did not yet do more than record what he saw.

When he reached the appropriate age, Vorian was enrolled in a rather prestigious school of higher education in Berlin. His education at his own volition focused primarily on the areas that could be referred to as natural sciences. He was easily the most gifted student in that area at his school and was the top of his classes. After completing his education and being qualified as a doctor of medicine in addition to degrees in numerous other subjects such as chemistry and biology he, funded by university grants began to work on private projects.

These projects soon attracted government attention after an accident in his lab released a toxic yellow gas that killed several assistants leaving them blistered both outside and in. Immediately seeing potential military applications for Dr. Traupitz's research the Imperial German government promptly moved to fund his research, giving him a new facility in which to perform his experiments in hopes they could use the compounds that the man had begun to work on creating. Being a nationalist as well as a scientist Vorian was more than happy to assist his nation, the generous funding and private lab facilities also had something to do with it. Within a month after the government took over funding on his research and he was relocated to a private facility there was an accident. Officially Vorian was recorded to have died when a train he was supposedly riding derailed. In reality the Imperial German government, seeing the progress and potential of his work decided that he was an asset that had to be protected and no one would go hunting for a dead man. In a moment of irony he was referred to in communications as The Good Doctor given his propensity for developing lethal substances rather than healing. This coded way of referring to the man who was officially dead became official and persisted for years through several regime changes.

Prior to the outbreak of World War 1 the majority of Vorian's research and experimentation went unused and while the government had been eager to scoop up the potentially valuable resource little funding was directed in his direction. The Kaiser's grandiose dreams of a navy that would wrest dominion of the seas from England and other projects that were given far higher importance were prioritized. In the early stages of the war as well he was largely ignored and continued his experiments within the lab facilities provided for him. However this would change with the outbreak of chemical compounds and agents in the form of weapons during the war. While the initial use of tear gas first by the French and then later Germany as well was not related to him it's ineffectiveness led to the high command looking over its resources relating to the matter at hand. The Good Doctor's early research had focused on such things and the regular reports and experiment logs filed with them by the man made it clear his talents could be of great use in the war effort.

Of course he was willing to use his skills and creations to aid his nation and if there was some enthusiasm at the chance to finally test his early compounds on humans rather than lab animals his superiors overlooked it in light of the potential value and the fact that the stalemate was dragging on with no sign of ending. The Good Doctor was not the only individual to be brought in with this decision, others included Fritz Haber, who aided in the creation of designs for the early dispersal systems for gases and later Wilhelm Lommel who provided insights allowing his early blistering agent to be stabilized and mass produced more easily. Prior to the first large scale use of any of his compounds and his first real appearance on the stage of history Vorian devised what would become his signature mask and for the first time donned it. Though this was merely the first iteration of it and without all the revisions that would later be designed in.

He first was directly employed when high command ordered a test of the dispersal system he and his by this point subordinates had designed. On January 2nd 1915 the Good Doctor oversaw the first test of his dispersal system using a more dependable and less experimental gas, chlorine. While the initial test was effective it took several more months to fully prepare for wide-scale usage. In April of that year widescale use began, first at the second battle of Ypres where the Good Doctor personally oversaw it's use again.

Following these successes he petitioned high command to grant him access to prisoners for testing as he needed to further refine his own compounds for use. Due largely to his earlier success and the increasingly negative state of the war effort they agreed. The other eminent scientists who had worked with him previously disagreed violently with his methods but he carried on and from his facility came the first samples of what came to be known as mustard gas and other less publicized compounds. The Good Doctor's star continued to rise as nothing he created did not function and more resources were allotted.

As the war began to wind down a prisoner was brought to be experimented on. Exposed to a far more potent and difficult to refine version of the earlier mustard gas compound the man appeared to expire and then reappear unharmed. Vorian was surprised by this unexpected turn of events and set about investigating what he initially believed to be cellular regeneration. This theory however was debunked when samples from the man did not regenerate, though interestingly they also did not appear to age. While investigations into the nature of the man's strange ability continued, the Good Doctor rapidly began to use him as a control test for compounds. This did eventually end when in the process of a test with a member of high command present to observe the man somehow slipped his bonds as he healed and managed to escape, impaling the Good Doctor with the high command officer's sword.

While this event might have spelled death for a lesser man the Good Doctor did recover, his own knowledge of medicine and the human body allowed him to perform self surgery in an extreme feat of will and while he would forever after be plagued by shortness of breath and constant bouts of coughing Vorian von Traupitz did survive the encounter. Due to the injuries he sustained he preformed extensive modifications to his mask and using methods only he could work and understand created a method by which the mask could constantly feed him heightened amounts of oxygen to enable him to function at his earlier levels physically.

It did however take the Good Doctor months to fully recover and in those months the Entente powers or the WWI allies had forced the capitulation of Germany and its allies. With the end of Imperial Germany and the declaration of the Wiemar Republic in its place Vorian abruptly found himself a forgotten remnant of the old regime. In the light of the extensive restrictions placed on the German military and the reparations the government was forced to pay very little funding would find it's way to the Good Doctor's facility.

Over the next 15 years he would find what little money trickled down to him drying up steadily as his work became increasingly irrelevant with the great depression sweeping across the world. No one would pay for a man to develop banned weapons of war and biological formulas in a nation that was wracked by reparations, war debt, and poverty. Vorian's funding only continued as the trickle it was due to the fact that the exact nature of his facilities was listed as a medical facility as well as military in the records and that the Imperial German high command had kept it a secret.

Unexpectedly however the Good Doctor's star was destined to rise from the ashes of obscurity a second time. After the Nazi party rose to power in 1933 all such old military facilities were inspected and evaluated so that the initially clandestine rearming of Germany could begin. His work in particular was of great interest to the Fuhrer as in the years between the end of world war 1 and the rise of the Nazi, Vorian had worked on compounds aimed more to alter humanity, to make it change, for better or worse is debatable. With Hitler's dreams of creating the perfect Aryan race, the research into altering humanity was incredibly appealing and he promptly allocated resources to the man and tasking him with creating perfection.

The increase in resources and levels of funding far beyond that provided for Vorian by the Nazi regime led to rapid advances on a level not seen before. Within a year his original facility outside of Berlin was inadequate to meet the needs of his greatly expanded operations. Fortunately that was not an issue as support was, within reason, nearly limitless, and with the funding and government support he received a new facility was created. With some pressure still remaining to keep such breaching of the treaty of Versailles from being obvious the primary complex was constructed at phenomenal expense mostly underground in the westernmost area of the Black Forest south of Stuttgart. The complex outside of Berlin still remained operational but much of the work was transferred.

With the inauguration of the simply if grandiosely named Die Zitadelle and the apparent progress the Good Doctor was making what had previously been a government funded operation became a direct part of the government with the creation of the "Abteilung der Vollkommenheit" or AV, as it came to be abbreviated, with the Good Doctor as its official head. The Abteilung der Vollkommenheit was to remain a clandestine and highly classified secret of the Nazi regime until the outbreak of the second World War.

The outbreak of the second World War proved to be a few years too early for him to have created what was requested of him. Even a man as skilled and empowered as Vorian, was hard pressed to create such things. When approached by the Fuhrer personally he explained that his creations were not yet ready and that he would require more test subjects in order to speed up progress. At this news the Fuhrer was less than pleased but he did in a rare moment of understanding grasp the fact that it was better to provide this man with the resources he needed then to rage at him. The populations of several concentration and detainment camps were swiftly transported to one of Abteilung Der Vollkommenheit's less important facilities, which was rapidly at Vorian's desire turned into a large series of test chambers.

Despite the war having come sooner than ideal for The Good Doctor and in the end Germany as well, the man did have things to offer forth from the start. While the compounds designed to create enhanced soldiers and improve them greatly had not yet been perfected, other compounds designed to be used in weaponry had been completed and in conjunction with other important members of AV who had taken Vorian's compounds and aided in devising weapons to make specific use of them. These weapons were offered up to the Fuhrer as immediate contributions to the war effort.

It took time to form the militant portion of Abteilung der Vollkommenheit, time which was conveniently provided by the halfhearted way in which France and Britain responded to the initial German invasion of Poland in September of 1939. By the time the army had finished subduing the poles and began preparation for the invasion of France in November and December of the same year, the first units of Abteilung der Vollkommenheit troops were ready to join the regular army on the field of battle. On May 10th of 1940 the invasion of France, along with, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. It was in the invasion of France that the forces of the AV were first deployed and both out of academic interest in how well his creations performed and because he was ordered to oversee this first deployment The Good Doctor himself had command over those forces. Clouds of gas that could kill with the barest touch to skin, diseases tailor made to affect only those who differed enough from the German people genetically, guns that spat compounds that would eat organic matter and leave anything inorganic untouched, among other things, these first of the Good Doctor’s promised Wunderwaffen were wielded with extreme prejudice and resistance crumbled in the face of the superior forces and terrible weapons.

Along with the many units of the French military that perished in those few weeks of conquest was a single American unit made up of volunteers who had wanted to go oversees to fight against the spread of Fascism. Vorian personally oversaw the slaughter of these men in what he cited as a purely academic test to verify that the Americans bearing such a hodgepodge of nationalities and ancestries would not prove to be immune to the currently weaponized compounds. The Americans were almost completely wiped out as a result.

These appearances in the French campaign brought the Good Doctor to the attention of people worldwide. And the use of such weapons and tactics revealed to many the horror that lurked within Nazi Germany. To the Germans themselves, the man was hailed as a hero who had given them to tools to topple the French so easily. The Fuhrer had parades held to honor the man before finally allowing him to return to work.

While his actions certainly had had a positive effect on the morale of the German people, Vorian was displeased that he had been drawn away from his labs and active work for such a long period. It and other such occasions would set back his work continually during the course of the war. The period between the capitulation of France and the invasion of the Soviet Union in June of 1941 was a time of great progress despite the months lost supervising the use of his creations in the conquest of France. But when the invasion did occur he was again called upon, and with several new compounds and weapons the Good Doctor answered.

As it had previously, his intervention led to rapid progress and by September 1941 Hitler judged that the surrender of the Soviets was imminent and after heaping several more honors upon Vorian’s head, allowed the man to return to his work, telling him to put the weapons on hold for the moment and to once again focus on the perfection of humanity. The Good Doctor obliged, after all it was this man who had given him such a volume of resources and who had funded his work so well.

The reverses in German progress in Russia after his departure from the front and the entry of the United States into the war following the attack on Pearl Harbor meant little to Vorian involved as he was in his own works. Aside from periodic frenzied rants and an annoyingly large degree of spontaneous seeming orders from Hitler to change the area of focus for his work, and the periodic parades that used him to reinforce morale Vorian Von Traupitz was largely left alone and allowed to continue his experiments for a time. A steady trickle of new compounds and toxins, along with weapons that made use of them continued to enter the German military arsenal and the first trials of humanity enhancing compounds by the Good Doctor took place within this window of time.

After the defeat of the German army in Stalingrad in 1943 Vorian was once again called upon once again and as he had before the Good Doctor answered. This time however after having been brought most of the way to the eastern front along with his newest creations, he unexpectedly found himself ordered to return to work. The lost time was greatly lamented as he was unable to see a reason why he should have been dragged halfway across Europe only to be ordered to return.

A few short months after he had returned to Die Zitadelle, the allied invasion of Italy in September of 1943 caused even him some alarm. While the fortunes of the war in the east had been declining Vorian had had no reason to doubt that they could be held at bay long enough for the even more impressive compounds that were nearly ready to be completed. The sudden existence of another front within Europe led to The Good Doctor himself requesting that his forces be deployed in Italy to aid in throwing back the Allied armies. Hitler sensing a plot where none existed denied him his request and the Fuhrer made it clear that he would not be questioned on this.

It was not until the D-Day Landings in June of 1944 that Vorian was again called upon to aid in the fight. The full force of Abteilung der Vollkommenheit under his leadership was ordered to halt Allied progress and to throw them back if possible. As they had before, the forces led by the Good Doctor, using his creations wreaked havoc upon the Allied troops, but something was different. Where before they had swept all away before them, now those they faced seemed to have elements that evened the playing field.

A single massive man in armor who seemed impervious to nearly any attack alone held off a force of several hundred Abteilung der Vollkommenheit men for hours to allow an allied force to retreat. Compounds and diseases that had decimated entire regiments and brigades earlier in the war claimed only a few casualties before dissipating, the Allied HQ somehow seemed to know half of the orders The Good Doctor gave before his men in the lines actually received them, and several thousand men who seemed to be perfectly identical continued to pop up endlessly no matter how many times they were killed off.

Despite these difficulties the forces of Abteilung der Vollkommenheit managed to hold the Allies at bay and even slowly were pushing them back slowly as the Good Doctor worked to counter these new oddities. But that would all change with the arrival of another of these oddities. The girl who came to be called Lady Liberty arrived in August of 1944. While before the assets that had caused such trouble for Abteilung der Vollkommenheit had primarily been defensive this Lady Liberty proved to be a potent offensive weapon.

When it became clear that Abteilung der Vollkommenheit was failing to hold its ground Hitler ordered Vorian to pull away and the Good Doctor did so, retreating and once more returning to his previous experiments, though now with a degree of frantic haste absent previously. With the retreat of the AV the ease of the war increased markedly for the Allied forces and they quickly swept across France in a matter of months despite fierce and determined resistance from the regular German army.

In a final attempt to turn the failing tide of the war the Good Doctor was dispatched one last time. On the 16th of December 1944 the full strength of Abteilung der Vollkommenheit, augmented by most of what remained of the regular German army and the first thousand men to have been given a hastily created super soldier formulae staged an attack in the Ardennes Forest. The attack targeted the portion of the Allied line held by the thousands of clones of Pvt X. Using genetic material from a captured clone the Good Doctor had created a toxin that would target only him and unleashed it to tear a great hole in the allied forces as the clones all rapidly succumbed to the toxin.

Following this the attack commenced and despite the efforts of the heroes of the Allied forces and the common soldiers it appeared that it might actually be a success. Then disaster struck, the men given the experimental super soldier compound began to mutate rapidly, becoming monsters that took orders from no man and turned on their former comrades. The success rapidly melted away in the chaos that followed, and while a core of Abteilung der Vollkommenheit with the Good Doctor at their head managed to escape the rest were slaughtered or captured.

In March of 1945 Allied forces augmented by Lady Liberty, Colonel Ironsides, and Doc Miracle laid siege to Die Zitadelle, the last remaining stronghold of the AV. In an attempt not to win the war, for Vorian could see that the war was long since lost, but to facilitate his own escape, the Good Doctor unleashed all that remained of his arsenal. Twisted monsters, horrific strains of plague, compounds that made his earlier ones look benign by comparison, were all unleashed upon the attacking Allies. While the battle raged above The Good Doctor made his way into the bowels of his compound, seeking a hidden escape route built when the base was constructed.

Before he could reach it however he was intercepted by Lady Liberty herself who had ignored the rest of the battle to chase after him. Within the bowels of his fortress Vorian and his adversary fought and while he put up a valiant fight, his trickery and compounds did not avail him against the foe. Lady Liberty then took his mask from his face saying she wished to see the face of the man who killed her brother, before hurling him across the chamber in disgust. He was left slumped against the wall with a metal rod driven through the side of his chest as the hero rigged his fortress to explode and then left with his mask as a prize.

A lesser man might have died, but the Good Doctor was no lesser man and by a fluke of fate the metal rod that impaled him had pierced the portion of his chest that no longer contained anything vital. Though it still caused him excruciating pain the man managed to lever himself up off the rod and crawled his way free through the escape route he had sought to reach before his encounter with Lady Liberty. Vorian had once again cheated death and the last few members of AV whose task it had been to guard this exit quickly acted to facilitate their leaders escape. As Lady Liberty had emerged with the mask of the Good Doctor, and the base had exploded in a massive fireball mere moments later the belief was that the Good Doctor had indeed perished as the heroine claimed. And so there was no manhunt for the man who had caused so much death, for they believed him to have already been dead.

I will not bore you with the fine details of the next 70 years of his life but in that time he eventually would come to wreak his vengeance upon the woman who had left him for dead and reclaimed his mask. He had a brief stint as the ruler of the nation of Argentina and successfully escaped again after the regime fell. At the moment the Good Doctor remains at large and the AV still endures for so long as it's immortal leader remains he will be able to find recruits willing to serve his causes.

Known Powers:

Inviolate Body- The Good Doctor has proven to be completely immune to any toxin or illness conceived by man or god, this immunization has been tested many times in countless experiments and has so far proven to be completely infallible.

Unstoppable Will- There have been many times in Vorian's life where a lesser man would have succumbed to pain or simply died if exposed to the things that he has endured. His will power is legendary and has sustained him through situations which by rights he should be unable to survive. In combat this is applicable as he will prove difficult to deter with discomfort or pain, and most wounds that would kill him will instead take several posts where he will be at decreasing efficiency before he will at last succumb to death, allowing him a chance to perform unexpected last ditch attacks or to manage to patch himself up enough to continue the fight.

Synthesis- Anything related to chemistry, biology, or genetics that Vorian can conceive is capable of being done through the use of a compound that he can create. Even if something should be impossible to create he is able to make it and once he has done so it can be mass produced or created again by another who could understand his incredibly complicated formulas and notes. So far no one has proven able to decipher and understand these things however. A note that many of his oldest compounds dating back to the First World War could be understood by highly gifted minds, however over time as he has delved deeper and deeper into his work and it has become more and more difficult for anyone else to even begin to comprehend what he is doing. This ability is what has allowed him to produce all the various compounds that he uses in combat as well as to create minions and do myriad other things. (While this is a noncombat power, it does matter as it is what allowed him to make many of the weapons he will employ)

Super Genius- Vorian is quite simply one of the smartest individuals that the human race has ever produced. In terms of pure intellect he cannot be measured by the scale of an IQ test. He possesses an eidetic memory and has had over a hundred years to accumulate vast stores of knowledge.

Abilities:

Sword play- Vorian is an accomplished master of the ancient art of sword fighting. Courtesy of his noble background he learned the basics young and has continued to work on these skills when time allows over the course of his long life.

Vast Knowledge- Vorian has an extremely large store of information to draw on courtesy of his long life, eidetic memory, and academic pursuits. It is unlikely that much in the realm of technology of any sort will surprise him. His knowledge also gives him an almost instinctive understanding of biological, chemical, or physics based weapons, compounds, or devices. This understanding allows him to quickly ascertain strategies to counter such things as well as how to best use them to his own advantage.

Master planner- Vorian is old and experienced and has had a fair amount of practice in the leading of forces and the planning that must accompany battles of any sort.

Weapons:

VX3 Plasma Pistol- While this weapon does not look particularly impressive, being only slightly larger than a large revolver it contains extremely advanced technology. A fusion cell powers the plasma shots and it can be fired as quickly as the trigger can be pulled without the need to ever reload. It's only inherent drawbacks are the fact that it despite firing high energy plasma bolts is less than the most effective against heavy armor or highly absorbent energy resistant armor. And also that it has a fairly high kick. He carries one of these weapons in a hip holster

VX3 Dispersion grenades- Dispersion grenades are intended to facilitate the infection or contamination of a fairly large area with one of the Good Doctor's many compounds. If caught with a 10 foot radius surrounding one without a reasonable defense against toxins or compounds of whatever sort is contained within the grenade exposure is inevitable. Outside this zone the effect varies in intensity and effectiveness. These grenades are cylindrical shafts about twice the thickness and half the size of a pen with a trigger that is activated by pushing down the top portion and twisting slightly. Vorian typically carries around 30 of these with him.

VX4 Vibroblade- The vibroblade is between the length of a long-sword and a short-sword and is colored matte black with several lines running through it that glow bright crimson when it is activated. The blade is charged with electrical currents that make it extremely deadly to those it can impact and also makes it remarkably effective against constructs as it can fry their systems quite handily. It is very difficult to destroy when active and can be used to deflect certain energy attacks.

VX4 Dispersal units- These units are concealed within the sleeves of his uniform and with a simple flick of the wrists he can activate them to spray out a fog of whatever unpleasant compound is stored within them. They are capable of holding enough for four uses a piece without having the ammunition replaced within them. This is obviously most effective at close range and the rate of spray is very fast and difficult to dodge especially when at a range optimal for the use of the weapons. He has two of these, one on each arm

VX17- Soldier in a can- A unique grenade, when used it produces a sludge like being that rapidly consumes organic matter around it for a single round before maturing into a humanoid monster with a chitinous exoskeleton and predatory instincts. These creatures have long knife like blades instead of fingers on their hands and are significantly stronger and faster than humans. (This is the allowed 1 minion. He will have only a single of these grenades)

VX4 Dispersal Mines- The mines are small, roughly the size of a pen, similar to the grenades. They are planted or scattered on the ground and should something step within 5 feet of them they will pop up from the ground and detonate at roughly head hieght sending out an aerosalized form of whatever compound was used in their creation. There are also standard high explosive versions as well. He typically has 10 of these mines at his disposal.

The Mask- Two of the three visible 'vents' on the outside of the mask are not designed to allow air in but rather to spray out compounds. The Mask itself only holds two charges. A charge will spray the compound in question out of both vents.

Armor:

VX4 Power Suit- The suit is worn beneath the Good Doctor's uniform and is tight and form fitting in order to do so. It generates a localized force field beneath his uniform that adjusts in strength accordingly when attacks are launched against it. For instance if a needle thin projectile with extremely high energy was fired at him the concentration of energy in the shield would adjust to concentrate on that particular spot. This shield however is weaker when it has to stop more than one projectile at once, or when it is force to stop collisions with extremely large objects that would strike a large area of the field at one time. The suit also serves to increase the Good Doctor's base stats granting him the ability to lift roughly 700 pounds and sprint at up to 70 miles an hour. Both of these can be increased should he fully exert himself but not by much. Should the force-field be overloaded the suit does still provide a level of protection as the compounds it is made from are highly impact resistant and energy absorbent.

Limitations:
The Good Doctor's mask is what allows the man to function at a level even resembling that of a normal human in terms of endurance. Should his mask be removed he will very quickly become exhausted and weakened. Even if his mask is not removed the Good Doctor does not have the endurance to fight long drawn out physical battles at full efficiency. He also is only gifted with superhuman aspects by his suit and should that be critically damaged he will be only as strong and as fast as a regular human.

What ever else you deem important for your character: If I need to include a list of his compounds I will, I am not sure that is required though, and it is a very very long list.

Naturalism:
Ren has power over natural energy, which is basically all forms of energy found in nature. He can draw the energy from his environment and use it to fuel his attacks. His mastery over this power allows him to freely change the status of the energy, effectively transforming one element to another. For example, he can draw energy from the earth below him and either use it to launch an earth-element attack, or reshape it to any other element he wants. He can also absorb medium elemental attacks, regardless of their origin, or redirect them. For example, he can absorb a lightning strike, either natural or magical, and either reshape the energy or simply use it to fuel his next attack, or turn it into whatever other element he wants (any and all elements). This gives him a plethora of attacks. However, he needs to draw the appropriate amount of energy before he launches an attack.

Skills (Passive, they need no energy/action to come in effect.):

Ranged combat: As a Gunblader, he excels at ranged combat.

Marksmanship: Ren has refined his marksmanship to the point where he can shoot a bullet to counter another speeding bullet, provided he has the time to do so (meaning, he can't do it at point-blank range, but he can do it from a minimum distance of 19 meters (wild west duels were conducted from roughly that distance, if it helps you visualize it)).

Aerobatics: Due to naturalism, his power, he can augment his physical capabilities. This allows him to perform aerobatic feats that surpass that of a normal person.

Reflexes: Using the raw natural energy, Ren can augment his reflexes, to the point that he can, as mentioned before, counter a speeding bullet, or dodge it, given enough distance. His physical speed though does not give him the ability to dodge it if fired at close range.

Physical status: During his attacks, Ren automatically spends a portion of the natural energy required to reinforce his body to withstand the launch of the attack. He cannot reinforce his body to defend against physical attacks with an active shielding, but he can reinforce his body for protection against his own movements (see below, Elemental Augmentation).

Dual attack: Since he uses two weapons, he can launch up to two simultaneous or successive attacks with any of his normal attacks. This does not apply on Barrage attacks.

Close combat: Ren has some degree of close combat training, allowing him to be on par with an average close-combat fighter.

Attacks:

While he has a wide array of attacks, here are some of the most base attacks he uses. These are not the only attacks he uses.

Burning Shot: As the name suggests, Ren sends a fire-imbued shot at his opponent, which will set the surface it touches ablaze for a short time, or permanently if it is a flammable material. If the energy used is high enough, the shot will explode on impact causing a three-meter radius explosion.

Frozen Shot: Ren sends an icy shot towards his opponent, which freezes a three meter radius on impact (happens extremely fast, you need super-human reflexes and speed to avoid the field if you are close to the impact point.) If the energy used is high enough, the radius is increased to 15 meters.

Thunder Shot: Ren launches a lightning-cloaked shot, which has a higher speed than his normal ones, but less strength. If the energy is high enough, the strike creates an electrical field within a 5X5 meter radius, paralyzing anyone who enters for (This has nothing to do with stamina or strength. It counts as a purely magical attack, meaning that if you're not lightning-proof, you get stunned. End of discussion. I repeat, lightning-proof. General endurance against magical attacks will only decrease the effect by half, meaning you'll be unable to move your feet.).

Earthen Shot: Ren shoots an earth-imbued shot, which has a lower speed that his other attacks, but more strength, meaning it can push back opponents and break things of medium endurance (meaning armor and shields if it's leather/mail/plate and non-enchanted. (Tournament Limitations Apply)). If the power is high enough, the shot will cause an earthen spike to emerge from underneath the target's feet (instant, spike emerges underneath the target hit.).

Light Shot: Ren shoots a bullet of light. If the power is high enough, the bullet emits a blinding light, temporarily reducing the eyesight of the opponents who look at it directly (looking at it from the side will make you see things blurry, and having your back turned to it will negate the effect all-together.

Darkness Shot: Ren shoots a bullet of darkness. If the power is high enough, the bullet instantly engulfs an area of 5X5 feet around the impact point in darkness, depriving any opponent of his sense of sight and hearing (Again, magical attack. Unless you have some sort of resistance over sensory impairments in a magical way, the effects take place without fail.).

Energy Shot: Ren shoots a bullet made from raw energy. The energy explodes on contact, creating a powerful blast in a ten-foot radius around the impact point (The blast is a raw energy blast. It cannot be negated by common means or by resistance over a specific element/general magical attacks.).

Shot Barrage: Ren channels his energy, firing multiple bullets in a short while. These bullets are made from whatever element he wishes, and are the enhanced version of the shot.

Omni-element Shot Barrage: Ren fires a barrage of shots containing all elements. These bullets are the enhanced versions of the shots.

Energy Shot Barrage: His most powerful ranged attack, Ren uses built-up energy to unleash a barrage of Energy Shots. This attack requires charging time.

Elemental Artillery: The rough amount of energy Ren stores with each absorption (charge) is equal to at least two normal version shots, with all the energy for his passive traits included. When he absorbs a magical attack, he gains four charges. Each enhanced shot requires two charges, an Energy shot requires four and his barrages require six, eight and ten respectively. Ren passively gains one charge per post plus one for each pistol he has not fired in that post (including quickdraw shots, see below).

Note that Ren may quickly absorb and shoot a bullet, which means that he can launch an attack even at zero starting energy (which you cannot assume is the case at the start of the fight.), though they can only be normal shots. I assume that a full post without firing equals to at least three charges, with a quickdraw shot not reducing the amount of energy he already has stored, and a post of extra charging (meaning he has to effectively stand still for the duration of the post) gives him five charges. His pure elemental spells do not require any energy to be cast (as with quickdraw firing), though maintaining the spell requires at least one charge of energy per post (meaning, if he fires a lightning bolt at you, it doesn't cost him energy, but if you shield yourself and he wants to keep the thunder pressuring you, he has to spend energy to do it.). His elemental spells are cast without the use of his gunblades, meaning he can cast a spell even if he has already fired his guns in the same post. When desparate, he can absorb a high-level elemental attack at once and store the energy (ten charges minimum), but it will have a physical impact on him (dizziness, nausea, vomiting, loss of focus, loss of mobility temporarily).

Elemental manipulation: He can control any element, thus able to attack with them. However, his attacks are of moderate power.

Elemental augmentation: He can augment his physical condition by reinforcing his body with various elements. Lightning, for example, raises his reflexes, considering that reflexes are the time it takes for the nerves to send the electrical signal to the brain, and earth, for example, can strengthen his limbs so that he can land safely from a high fall or strengthen his muscles to withstand the force of his attacks and movements. These augmentations are instant, provided that he has enough energy stored (1 charge per augment) and last for one post after the initial activation post (meaning, he augments himself instantly, resumes the post, then has the augments until the end of the next post.)

Elemental Absorption: Ren, as a Naturalist, can absorb the core energy that forms elemental magical (or physical) attacks. The ratio of energy he absorbs and stores per attack varies depending on the power level of the attack: Low-level spells/attacks give two charges, mid-level spells/attacks give four and high-level spells/attacks give at least 10 (though high-level attack absorption has side-effects, see Elemental Artillery, see below.). Depending on the level of the attack, Ren may need time or concentration to absorb the attack. For example, a low-level attack (equivalent to the "fire" spell of Final Fantasy) can be absorbed instantly and without delay on his other actions and a mid-level (Fira, hand grenade) would require him to not attack for one post (though he could still move and dodge if needed, and have no side-effects carried over to the next post). A high-level spell, however (Firaga, constant stream of flames from a flamethrower, small/medium-sized charges of C4) would have physical side-effects.

NOTICE: Since Ren has adequate control over ALL elements his actual attack/move/elemental usage list is way too freaking long to post here, not to mention it won't be always complete simply because over time I might come up with new attacks or moves. So if I do something that doesn't appear in this CS during a fight don't assume that it's not possible, but instead ask yourself if any elemental magic-user could do what I did before you start asking me questions. Oh, and I am pretty sure that I've missed some elements (like air and water), but for the sake of fairness I will not use them unless I somehow level-up my character and update this profile.

Limitations: Mainly his energy levels, which he must replenish during combat.

Race: Undead/Paladin Slayer
Height: 6, 2 Weight (without armor): 103 pounds mainly because he dead and a lot of body mass is decayed. Weight (With armor) 320 pounds.

Background information: The powerful Paladin Apathis seeked to rid the land of all evil Undead that roamed unencumbered, he raised the people with his holy light and they together pushed the Undead to the brink. Early celebrations of the near total destruction of the undead became a day to remember as the kingdom named Apathis King Paladin of the kingdom for his Honor and Righteousness in the defeat against the scourge of undead that seeked to devour the realm of light.(The Christening day was done on the battlefield.)

That night Apathis was up in his tent on the out skirts of the battlefield observing the maps and locations of all the undead in the region, he had just gotten his "King paladin" Armor the enchanted white diamond armor with dragons gold trim had such amazing craftsmanship that each trim had delicate protection runes etched into the armor. The armor had an angel smiling on the front chest piece and another on his lift shoulder piece with a large white diamond halo looping outwards at a 70 degree angle off the armor.

The army was sleeping except for the daily paladin patrols and sentries that watched for undead activity. At the time no one expected what would happened next, while even all the patrols were on guard dark purple swirling portals opened suddenly all around the camp. This caught everyone by surprise not knowing that the undead had portal magic capabilities the undead swarmed in with mass numbers slaughtering the Paladins as they fought there way into the camp. To no avail the Paladins defended themselves slaying hundreds of them before falling under the rip tide of undead, Apathis left his tent with the mighty SoulBringer in hand to face the foes.

When Apathis entered the battlefield he unleashed hellish light magic on all the undead around him decimating there forces as the light magic tore through the decaying flesh of the undead all around him. Apathis alone easily slaughtered most of the undead forces before a new threat entered the battlefield, a large black cloaked figure with a man sized farmer scythe in his right hand had come through a portal. The figure approached Apathis who in turn attacked the figure who obviously was of undead nature, the figure effortlessly deflected all his light magic spells like they were an initiates first spells. Worn and exhausted Apathis fell to his knee knowing he could no long battle this being anymore, the figure approached cackling a thick and evil laugh similar to a deeper scream of a banshee.

The figure approached Apathis and leaned down to whisper into his ear telling him the power he could give him and the feeling of immortality that he could bestow upon him, but with a condition. He continued you will serve the undead legions and slay all the beings of light and bring them to the power of the undead, had he had his full power Apathis would have simply denied the offering and would have just allowed the figure to simply kill him but now Apathis, defeated, and kneeling the weakest he had ever been in his life accepted the offer.

With a cackle to beat them all the figure stood and lifted his scythe into the air chanting odd words as he did this, with a power downward blow the figure brought his scythe down into Apathis back past the thick enchanted armor plating slipping through it like a hand through the fog showing no resistance as if he could have done this at any time. The figure let the scythe go and watched the process begin as the scythe turned the once noble paladin into a being of pure death, carnage, and misery arose from a large explosive pillar of purple, red and black energy.

His armor was now seemed more of a dull then a shining now, the protection etched into the armor was corrupted with both light and dark protection spells while the once proud angels on his armor warped in changed into hideous demonic faces, the angel with the halo was now a demon with a single sharp serrated horn protruding from the shoulder piece. He rose his silver chain mail mesh hood now was black and his eyes once a emerald green were a shining blue as well as his once fair skin was now a dark brown that of a sick decay.

After that day he pushed the undead back into his own kingdom as he pushed them deep into the land slaughtering all living beings as they went cutting down all that opposed them. Apathis enjoyed his new power and reveled in the opportunity in leading the undead to total annihilation of the realm of light. After many months of hard battling they killed all being of light within there realm and now at the capital of high light he sat on the golden thrown covered in the red blood of the high priest.

Magic Abilities Description: Sense Apathis was once the King Paladin the power over light was so immense that it transferred over to his new Undead body, His new undead self also has the power of darkness as well giving him power over darkness and light. He can use the uplifitng powers of his holy light powers to magically Buff himself so he can destroy large amounts of opposing enemies, or compell and corrupt everything around him with the power of his inner darkness. If all else fails he can combine both the powers of darkness and light to used the wicked powers of Chaos to smote those who fail to fall.

(Though he is Undead he is the opposite of most undead in the fact that he is weak to darkness while light seems to not hurt him at all like most undead will curtle to the light)

Magic Abilities List:

Archangels plea: Summons a ball of light so follow Apathis around increasing the damage of all light based spells, also can be thrown like a sort of light grenade. When it explodes it will blind and cause low explosive damage very good with distractions.

The Figures Blessing: Apathis summons a floating skills covered in a pitch-black flame it will follow Apathis where ever he goes and increase the damage of all dark base spells, if thrown will cause the debuff darkblight to appear if it hits opponent. (Debuff DarkBlight: This will decrease all damage that the infected opponent does for there next attack)

Chaos Halo: When both Figure blessing and Archangels plea are both active they will fuse together and form the a chaos halo that will float above Apathis head this halo will give a small boost to light and dark attacks but give a moderate boost to chaos based attacks, The halo cannot be thrown and so it has no thrown abilities.

Holy Harbringer: Swifty and accurately unleashes a flurry of holy coated strikes up to 5-6 strikes.

Shining spears: Points hand outwards and summons five large shining spears that will fire at the opponent somewhat have a small tracking ability not much of one, this will do moderate damage to an opponent if it lands if all five land on a single target it does around Moderate-high damage depending on opponent.

Shining Aura: This aura can stack with Decayed Aura with no counter side effects, this aura will slowly regenerate wounds over a period of time depending on the wound. The aura will also increase the users defense moderately.

Blessed Blade: Casts a spell of blessing on Soul bringer and gives all his attacks a light edge to them doing extra damage against other undead opponents, and those weak to light.

Apostles Beam: Mouth glows before blasting a large Light beam out of his mouth this beam can melt steel almost instantly and can do devastating damage to anyone hit directly by the beam, the beam can be fired for 5 seconds before wearing out.

Wings of the King: Large blinding wings appear out of Apathis back giving him flight and increases the power of light attacks but decreases dark attacks.

Crown of the King: This buff basically after being casted will give Apathis increased damage output increasing all his physical attacks and if fighting an undead while the crown is on will give bonus damage if successfully struck down.

Holy Shield: This is a powerful reflection shield that can be activated to deflect attacks back at the opposing enemy, it appears as a golden shield in his left hand though Apathis prefers his 2hSword Soulbringer opposed to one-handing soulbringer with a shield.

Righteous Hand: Coats hand in light hand slams it into the ground summoning a very large hand able to grab a group of 6 people out of the ground explosively, when Apathis closes his hand while under the ground the hand will imitate and do a crushing close of its hand causing a large explosion tearing up the ground and causing moderate damage to people around the hand and causing high damage to anyone in the hand during the grip.

The Figures blur: This is one of the few dark based buffs Apathis has, this buff causes all movements that Apathis does to have an echo of a shadow giving him a blurrish style of movement, if the figures blessing is in play or if chaos halo is in play not only will the shadow like echo be in play but it will appear as if Apathis is blinking in and out when ever he moves a large amount making it hard to memorize his attack patterns.

Scourge: His right hand covers in black with red highlighted lightning darkness before firing dark bolts from his palm this attack will strike the area many times can give darkblight if opponent decides that it is given, this is moderate damage but can become high damage if a bolt where to strike an enemy multiple times.

Jungle of bone: He lifts both hands into the air while arching his back then releases a massively booming roar of anger outwards if enemys are in close range this voice can startle and cause them to freeze in place. During the roar large spiked boned fingers begin to fire forth from the ground all around him some firing up to 30 feet into the air some only shoot an inch out of the ground but they do this in mass numbers in an attempt to impale an enemy.

Bringer of the apocalypse: His blade is coated in a dark burning energy all strikes are dealt with a large amount of dark elemental damage.

Dark chains: Summons four large chains from his free hand that wraps around foes and pulls them close.

Dark rage: His inner darkness unleashes in a dark tidal wave of destructive energy the blast outward is immense in size and can cause large damage to both undead, and man. (More damage done to light characters)

Dark benediction: He raises his blade and summons a dark shadow army to charge the foe and attack at there masters command.

Shadow Tendril: All the shadows in the area begin to attack all living creatures, or dead.

Corruption: Can corrupt beings of light to change to the way of darkness making them his eternal servants.

Shadow Manipulator: Can manipulate shadows around him to become a defense or and offensive ability.

Ruler of the damned: Undead fear to attack him and if to weak to oppose his will, will begin to fight for him.

Damned shield: This shield when summoned will allow the user to absorb certain attacks with the shield(energy, dark, moderate light spells,) (Once both holy shield and damned shield enter the field Chaos Aegis automatically activates)

Decayed Aura: This aura once combined with shining aura has no negative effects, this aura once in effect will slowly worsen wounds on the user, and will moderately boost attack.

Figures crown: Basically once this buff comes into play it will give the user an increased damage output and will give extra damage against users of light. Once the crown of the king and this buff come into play Crown of disorder comes into play)

Wings of the fallen: Once this effect goes into play it increases all dark attacks but decreases all light attack. He also gains the ability to fly. (Once wings of the king and wings of the fallen come into play then wings of draco automatically comes into play)

Crown of disorder: Only comes into effect once figures crown and kings crown come into play, All attacks are boosted and deal extra damage to both beings of dark and light.

Chaos flow: Only once all the complete chaos buff are active does this effect come into play, all the powers of chaos flow into soul bringer and change it into End-Bringer, massively boosting all light and dark damage done with End-Bringer.

His physical prowess was greatly increased when the figure changed him into the being he was now he can easily stop a 16-wheeler plummeting down hill at 80Mph with a single hand. He can run down a cheetah and cut it down in a couple strides...
He is a force to be reckoned with, that is why the figure chose him. He can spot a sniper in a gillie suit from a mile away before he has spotted him, and reaction speed of a spider-cat.

Weakness: Even though he was once a paladin and can still manipulate light he is still weak to holy attacks.

Undead weakness: Not as weakened as his relative the deathknight to the sun but he still prefers the dark.

Has almost the same negative effects of undead just not as close to as severe.

I usually always prep my attacks, my battle with bushido I could insta cast but I prefer to prep a spell a post, when I summoned soth I prepped many turns before unleashing him.
