"In the cabinet," the clerk said. "The back up is in the computer's harddrive." He wasn't taking any chances of trying to lie to these two, he knew what Kent Rain was capable of. If he played a good lapdog he and his family might survive this tangle. He hadn't meant to hit the man, it just happened. Like a sneeze.

Reese walked into the room, snorting with some pride at the way the poor man was strapped to the chair. He liked it, and planned to use it again in the future. He sat on the desk to watch Mark deal with the camera system in his own way. "So, we have some little issues to deal with before we leave. This one is a snitch, likes to talk if he thinks it will get him out of pain or jail. I can't have him just running about waggling his tongue." A wicked smile spread over his lips. "Perhaps I should cut it out and break a his hand so he can't write." He shifted slightly. "He still could poke keys on a keyboard, I suppose." The clerk whimpered.

Mark went to the different computer units and after inspecting them a bit, he decided to unplug the harddrive, smash it up and then and put it in the store's bags. He needed a proper way to dispose of it, either by melting the metal or something. He couldn't simply just leave the damn things here. Reese's comments brought Mark's attention back onto the whimpering clerk.

"What I don't want is this jerk 'typing' or signalling things to the cops or anyone else for that matter. Cutting off his toungue would be fun. Get to watch him bleed to death in a puddle" said Mark as he grabbed something off the shelf. It was a box of nails and bolts. Mark also looked to the bathroom sink and then the air conditioning unit.

"I should kill this guy. He can either die slowly by swallowing these bolts, water torture or just a plain death. Then I'll stick him in the AC vents. Thoughts Rain?" suggested Mark as he waited for Reese's response. It seemed that the only way to silence the clerk was to kill him. But what Mark didn't know about was what happened between Reese and the clerk. Did it warrant a sickening death or was there compassion to be found? Was the snitch to be spared?

"Drown him," Reese said. "It is the most painful way to die." And quick and quiet what was needed right at the moment. They needed to leave, they had other business to attend to. Like buying guns, having mind blowing sex and staking out the Pearl District. Eating and sleeping would be squeezed in there as well somewhere. The clerk broke out in loud prayer, pleas and promises to keep his mouth shut. Reese patted down the man until he found the keys to the store.

They might need muscle, he wasn't sure until they figured out what sort of drug dealers they were after. "I'll help stick him in the vents to give us some time before he is discovered. He stepped into the bathroom and stopped the sink and started the water. He walked to the back door to make sure they were alone. He locked it before returning to the office to see how the death dealing was going.

When Reese was patting down the clerk for the keys, Mark wanted to be the one being patted down. He grew a bit excited at the image of himself being patted down by Reese. Mark looked at Reese for a moment and though he didn't say it out loud, his eyes seemed to say 'I want to be patted down as well. Search me'.

But back to business. Mark grinned sadistically as he began to fulfill Reese's order. Mark would have probably wanted to torment the clerk a bit more, but Reese's approach was better. He peered down at the clerk. "Heh, guess you shouldn't have thrown that punch in the first place right? Go ahead and pray. Maybe you'll die faster" Mark said as found a pair of gloves in the drawers and put them on.

Mark dragged the clerk over to the sink, kicking away whatever was on top so that the clerk could not use anything as a weapon. Then he cut the clerk free before he clasped his hands onto the collar and plunged the head into the water. Muffled sounds was heard along with the frantic swallowing of water. The clerk flailed about trying to grab at things. But Mark had done stuff like this before. He knew where to stand so that he wouldn't be hurt.

Then Mark frowned. He noticed the water level slowly starting to lower. "Drinking the water? That won't help you" said Mark as he turned on the tap to refill the sink. More flailing about. The clerk also tried to scoop out the water with his hands. He was doing anything he could in order to not die. But that was resolved with Mark knocking him out and then plunging his head in again. There was more struggling before the body finally fell limp. Mark couldn't find a pulse, but just to make sure, he poked the clerk in the eye with a screw driver in case he was pretending. No response. Guess the clerk was really dead. Mark turned of the tap.

When Reese entered, he could see that Mark had left the clerk dead in the water and was now removing the evidence. He had already picked up the pieces of cable tie on the floor and was currently wiping down the chair with a cloth to remove his fingerprints. The box and anything else he had touched was also wiped down. Mark stood up and looked back at Reese. "We'll make it look like a rob 'n' kill"

"Good plan," Reese said finding his own cloth and doing a well once over of the cabinet his touched and the sign as wells of the wall a few other places for good measure. He opened the till and took the pathetic amount of cash and brought it back into the office to deal with the safe that was hanging slightly ajar.

He would assist with the body and clean up as needed to ensure there were no evidence left behind to point to either of them. They had enough to worry about without the cops a step behind them. He wasn't sure what to do with the money, it was only a five hundred dollars in small bills. He folded over a wad of them and stuffed them in Mark's front pockets, not to be a huge annoyance or to bulky to be really noticed. He nipped at the back of the wild card's neck before pulling away to stuff his own pockets with the remainder of the money. "Let's go," he whispered finding the key for the front door.

Once they were both out he locked it and polished each key with the cloth in his hand while facing the front as if reading the poster. He walked a few feet to a very full curb side garbage can and dropped the keys inside and brought the cloth to his nose and made it like he sneezed before stuffing it in his pocket.

Reese mounted the bike after Mark was settled on his seat, ready to leave this place behind.

Mark made a surprised sound when Reese touched him. The nibble made Mark feel comfortable and he almost melted into Reese' arms then and there. When they got outside Mark started his bike again as they headed towards the weapons shop. It sold regular weapons, though there was also a secret line of products for 'enthusiasts'.

Along the way, Mark tried to not think about the fact that Reese's legs were really close to him. Instead, Mark focused on other things - the questions he wanted to ask. "Uh... that clerk mentioned that the Dust was powerful and twisting - is it really like that? And what's a love tap?"

Mark was a little bit embarrassed for not knowing about the Dust even when he had been in the underworld for so long. Then again, he only fought in fights and did other sorts of crimes. He didn't really deal with drugs. They were just too messy and risky for him. But now he had to know about it. Strategically anyway. Mark decided not to ask about how Reese and the clerk knew each other from before. Reese didn't seem to fond about his past, so Mark just let it be. He could only assume that they previously worked together for information or something. It didn't mater now.

Reese scooted his hips forward that sparked a fire of desire through his lower regions. He leaned forward to talk to Mark without his voice to be carried away in the wind. "I have only heard of it in larger cities east of here, the stuff is dangerous with some real nasty side effects. Which doesn't last long thus forcing the person to take more to have that return. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. I really hope they haven't been trying to perfect it, that would be devastating to the world at large. Governments could be over thrown and chaos would ensue. This is bad stuff, Mark. Really bad."

Reese let out a breath pressing his thighs against Mark's hips for a moment. He wanted to think of better things then the past. There was a lot of black deeds and broken bones which he caused mostly, it was something he had forgotten in his plush palace and comfortable living. "I broke his jaw and called it a love tap. He was making my life hard and I was proving a point which I thought he would have learned from. I don't like snitches, I don't like them at all."

"Well at least that clerk is dead. If we didn't get to him first, I bet someone else would have" commented Mark. He never really knew the name of the clerk, but that was fine. The clerk was dead anyway and it was now a thing of the past. "Hey, if in the future you see someone you want me to nail on the spot, just poke me in the ribs and i'll take them down before they have a chance to react"

Mark then parked his motorbike in a space in front of the convenience store. Just around the corner was the gun shop, but he figured it would be better to get snacks first because the weapons would be harder to conceal. It would also be risky to leave them with the bike. "We'll get food and stuff first, the weapons can be for later. This store stocks camp gear, so there could be things we need fo the longhaul".

Mark went and picked up a basket, putting in a bright LED torch, flares and scentless mosquito repellent (he was prone to them). Some corn chips were next, then microwave popcorn. Mark looked to Reese to see what he would get...

"I'll keep that in mind," Reese mused.

Reese stepped in and dealt with his 'stuck' jacket zipper when he entered to keep his head down for the camera, if it was so equip. He followed Mark through the store his gaze slowing moving over the items. He didn't see anything that he really needed except for a flashlight, he picked one up and peered at it turning it on and off for a moment before moving on.

In the food area, he picked two bags of jerky. Quiet food to eat while they were waiting, he would put them in a clean cloth to keep the plastic noise from allowing the watched to pinpoint them. He snagged some hard candy for the sugar content, again he would have them put into something else.

Reese made a selection of bottle water and a Monster to help him if they had to stay longer then a few hours. Better safe then dead. He turned to Mark with his handful and flashed him a smile.

Mark returned the smile when he saw what Reese bought. The jerky would come into good use. Mark then wandered past an aisle with an assortment of things and hits made him stop and stare for a moment. A packet of tennis balls and celebration sparklers. Mark grinned in a mischievous way. He had black paint in the garage didn't he? Hehe... things would be fun. Especially when Mark got to experiment. Mark scanned the store once more, and it seemed that they had all they need. He went to pay at the cashier.

    "Camping?" asked the clerk.

"Yeah, just going to hope we don't get picked up by aliens" replied Mark. This made the cashier laugh as he continued to scan the items. A quick payment was made as Mark headed out the store with Reese. He studied the docket for a while. "Looks like we got the sparklers for free. Nifty" commented Mark. He then glanced to the general gun store not far from them and then paused as he looked at Reese and then the money in their pockets.

"Have you got plans on what to get? We can probably haggle. Or use that clerk's credit card"

((OOC: The Grand Theft Auto series taught me that guns are expensive. But since we don't have guns legalised in Australia, can I leave it to you to write the next bit? All I have is my experienice from GTA. Also, I'm just going to say that our characters have the tasers from the electronics shop. I forgot to put that in my post. Also also, uh, the lubricant... *nudge* *nudge*))
