i have read all terry goodkind books but the newest, the legend of magda searus.

I dont over thought about all of your questions when i started this RP. basicaly that Emperor Jagang's son is plotting a new world-takeover plan.
Richard and Kahlan died without leaving an heir, as said in the plot.

1: Which damage needed to be restored? Substractive magic is now more common but still rare.
2: Male confessors are still killed by birth
3: There is only one sword of truth, however there are sword with the same appearance which are just normal swords.
4: there are more confessors but as subtractive magic they are still rare. the mother confessor has not been specified by a character at this time.
5: I agree with you on this point
6: pristine (i believe this mean 'no spark') gifted are still around
7: the Rahl bloodline has died.
8: wasn't the blood of the fold 'exterminated' at the end of book three?
9: The chimes... the defense system of the Anders? Those are destroyed yes.
10: Du'Chailu... if you want to include them, feel free to do so.

I hope I've answered your questions accordingly, if not, or something else comes up. Please feel free to ask/tell me. I hope to welcome you to this RP.

    9. That would be Domini Dirch.

The chimes were fae type creatures that correspond to air, fire, and water, and consume magic. They were invoked to end the magic-based plague that was sweeping the Midlands. Unfortunately they weren't invoked right, and ran amok, killing indiscriminately and killing off a number of magical races, such as dragons.

I've got many questions actually, but I'm afraid I'd get on your nerves.
Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds talk about people.

Imagination is the preview of life's coming attractions.

    Chance favors the prepared mind.

Domini Dirch... like the chicken in the mudpeople? The soul of fire? (I've read the books in Dutch, my native language so thats why I didn't understand.)
anyway, yes those are still gone.

haha, I've got strong nerves. better to go in well informed then head first right?

Ok I am butting in, I hope our GM will not mind here.

Also, if the point of contention is still up in the air about how the Wizards would get ahold of the Sword of Truth, it has already been stated explicitly that the care of the Sword of Truth and the naming of the Seeker fall directly to the First Wizard (or Wizards, as there may be more than one at a time, but usually are the oldest, wisest and most powerful of the Wizards.)
This point was a mistake our GM did in not thinking this point properly through before beginning, this have however been addressed and we are patching the mistake up, it might not be perfect but everyone make mistakes. The way we have chosen to settle this is that the old wizard in question got the Sword of Truth to safeguard it as he was a friend of Zedd and there was no one left to otherwise give it to. This is not a plot point I would have chosen myself but it is the best we could do when it had already been included. I would probably have gone with not having the sword in the story at all but like I said this point have already been discussed and gone over.

I noticed there was also a discussion about the difference between a Sorceress and a Wizard and how their powers are handled. It seemed to me to be that Sorceresses were not quite as directly strong as a wizard, but where they excelled was in multi-tasking with their Han. Wizards are good with finesse and fine things, like a Sorceress, but didn't seem quite as good at handling several things at once. It may be just a male vs female issue on that one.
Are you here referring to the OOC discussion on whatever or not a wizard could teach a sorceress and vise versa or the IC discussion on the topic between one of my characters and Ezmeralda's? In either case you are correct about what you have said above I think.

Also, I fail to see how Mord-Sith were entirely rare. They were the personal guard, besides the First File, of the Lord Rahl, and served as his bodyguards, enforcers, interrogators, and general fear machines. They were also a shield against magic users, and were designed to turn a magic user's abilities back on themselves. From what has been stated, there were many Mord-Sith in the People's Palace, and more were attending to orders in the field.
In the books the Mord-Sith where not rare at all, there where hundreds if not thousands of them in the People's Palace, however I do imagine that Richard would have stopped production of them, or at least slowed it down since he being a good guy probably have a problem with the whole kidnapping, torturing and raping of little girls and them having them watch their mother be tortured to death and later having to do the same to their father part so in this game Mord-Sith are not up to the numbers they used to be, even if they are being produced again, though how they do that with no living Lord Rhal the GM have not told us.

I assume this have happed as again one of my NPCs and Ezmeralda's character have discussed this IC so if it have not happened I need to go back and change my posts.

Ok since Ulyssia just just finishing up the scene she is having with Nova and the Confessor I will just have Ulyssia come to her room, I mean we are talking about a delay of a few minutes here and I can just finish up the post with Marrow when he posts so that the game is not held up waiting for Ulyssia to be freed from the scene she is in, all that is really left to do is for her and Nova to take leave of one another and the guests. I hope this is okey.

Yes what if we say that the Confessor is in her room and Ulyssia went to just check on Meeru and she will meet Nova in one of the communal torture rooms for their session with Meeru and Sister Alma when Nova is finished with her preparations?
