Would it be fine if i played as a 2nd level mage. But the cons for him is that he has a limited amount of magic he can use. If he would go past that point he would either die or become unconscious. And how old could he age be, I was going to put it around 105+. But if you would like I can be whatever.

While this is true, I'm just not comfortable with the power and feel of your character. But I guess I'll grow accustomed to it. Ok, you're accepted. Just don't abuse that background. If there's one thing I'd really like to change, though, it's the fact that you're already travelling with companions. But perhaps that's something we could remedy in-game, if you catch my drift.

@RangingWolf: Sure, you can play a second level mage. Just temper it with the cost of using such powerful magic. If you're going to be 105 years old, I take it you're an elf? Humans are after all pretty much dead at that age.

But wouldn't being a mage also increase your lifespan if you're human? If not I'll change his age.

Why would it increase your lifespan? The only referance to longevity in the information about magic is that your life might get shortened by casting spells, not the other way around. Magic is a very powerful force, but comes at an equally high price. That's how it is in this game.

    Ok.. was just asking.

    Name: Cyrus Metzi

    Age: 55

    Gender: male

    Race: human

Profession: a 2nd level mage. He was a historian. He lived in a small house with his Trainer a higher mage, one who had better control of his powers.

    Appearance:

Background: Cyrus was born and raised into a poor family of farmers. Cyrus lived at the home till he was about 5 years of age, one day one of the few 2nd level mages came to his house asking if he could take and train there son to be mage. The mage promised that Cyrus would be taken care of and well trained. The family reluctantly agreed. Cyrus was soon taken to were the mage lived. Cyrus was cared for and loved like a son by the mage. Once he turned 5 the mage started to train him, he started to school him. He taught him math, how to read and write. Once he turned 9 the mage started to train him in the school of magic. First just simple words, then after several long years gestures. But still his training was done, the mage taught him some alchemy, how to read maps. The mage told him there wasn't really anything he could teach him. He told Cyrus that he could leave if he wanted to or he could stay and train. Cyrus chose to stay and train. He continued to devote his life to the arcane arts. Finally after years of practice Cyrus could say he mastered the magic of speech.

During his time the Mage told him that one he would leave this place and go out on a adventure with other people. Cyrus believed the old mage. He still continued to train, till one day when he went to wake his master from his slumbers. When he went in he saw that he master had passed away in the night. On the bed stand was a note from his master. The note told him in a year there would be a group of people going on a adventure and that they would need a mage, and that he would be that mage, the note also told him that cyrus's time here was some of the best time that the mage had, he also wrote that Cyrus was like a son to him. Cyrus cried a few tears. He then burnt the mage. Cyrus continued to train by himself for a year. Once that year was over Cyrus gathered the supplies he would take and left his home. He traveled for a good while till he found the adventures his master wrote about.

Personality:Cyrus often doesn't speak (because words can kill), he is very quiet, he talks through writing, he remains distant from others due too the fact if he were to get attached his emotions might go wild which might also cause he magic abilities to go wild. Morality he is considered a good mage.

Pros: Longer life, ability to heal others, can use gestures and words to use his ,magic. Has knowledge of the mapped places. He would be considered a good mage. He has knowledge in the wilds of what is safe and not safe to eat and drink. Also has knowledge of the known animals and a few of the not so well known.

Cons: He is deathly afraid of spiders, if he uses too much of his magic powers he will either die or become unconscious, if he were to die his body becomes a conduit that generate magic. Which means if another mage got a hold of his body after he died, he would have access to Cyrus's magic. If he were to get attached to someone he wouldn't be able to control his emotions which in turn cause him to not be able to control his magic too it's fullest extent.

    Equipment:
A very light leather chest piece that he wears under his robe
A hardwood staff( doesn't use it for magic its more of a last line weapon) the staff has a sharpened point at the top.
He wears a tunic kinda like the miners clothes from skyrim looks like this but without being a orsimer and his sleeves are covering his arms. He also wears padded leather boots.
He has a bag with several notebooks and pen that he uses to write with.
The bag also contains two loaves of bread and a medium sized canteen.
Other stuff in the bag are a small tent, a bed roll, notes which include some maps and information on some of the wildlife.
He travels very light taking the bare necessities

    Sorry Kim Jong un

Aye, given some time, I had actually intended for two of them to regret the voyage and threaten to reveal his secret prompting some rather gruesome in-fighting.
