Legends of the Shrine (SilverRain x HiddenBeauty13)

Sebastian didn't downright object to what Rhea-sama did, but part of him was still reluctant. He could see that his Rhea-sama was happy, perhaps even excited about the whole party thing. But he still didn't like how she was relying on the other shrine god rather than himself. And how on earth did that familiar get to know the world so much? Somehow it made Sebastian feel that Raine, Alexus and Rhea-sama were a good group together whereas he was the bad apple.

Alexus looked at Raine and gave her a nod so that she could help them. "I'll let Raine help you out with the specifics" said Alexus as he sipped the sake in front of him.

Rhea grinned excitedly at the two. "Wonderful! Would you like to start planning the day after tomorrow? So we all have enough time to get our ideas and such in order?" The girl asked and Raine nodded. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea." Standing, the female demon spread her wings, stretching them. They'd become stiff as she sat there. "Are you ready to leave now, Alexus? It's getring late and I don't want us to run into any trouble on the way home." Lesser demons tended to attack at night.

Alexus looked at Raine and replied "Yes, we should be heading back. I'm tired enough as is. It's been nice meeting you Rhea... and Sebastian". He could see that the familiar was a dangerous demon who had been tamed. Alexus didn't like that too much - he was wary of the demon. Because one day, if the bonds break then the demon would cause chaos and most likely the first humans he would devour were the shrine gods. But Rhea seemed intent on keeping him, so Alexus decided not to comment.

When Raine mentioned 'lesser demons', there was a split second where Sebastian felt that there was something watching them. It felt malicious. This wasn't the first time he felt the spike of evil aura. That was the main reason that Sebastian had been devouring one evil spirit after another. But no matter what he did he the evil aura would occasinally pop up again, as if playing a game with him. Just what was it?

Raine happened to feel this unwanted presence as well and frowned a bit. It had appeared and disappeared more often now and it was starting to concern her. With a soft sigh, the female demon stood and then helped Alexus to his feet before smiling down at Rhea. "Well, it was really nice to meet you, but we should definately get going now." She said and slyly began to lead her master to the door.

Rhea stood up as well and smiled, waving slightly at the two as they began to leave. She was glad that they'd made a good conmection with another shrine that could possibly help their shrine thrive again. Smiling, she turned around to face Sabastian. "So, what do you think? Should we really go.along with this?" Rhea needed his opinion on these things as well. He was as much of an owner of this shrine as she was.

(OOC: Not too sure what to do with Alexus and Raine, so maybe I can leave Alexus in the background for now? I'll get a plot going though)

"I'm not that familiar with parties Rhea-sama, but I will support whatever you chose" said Sebastian as he stood up and went to the door. He looked back once more at his Rhea-sama and flashed a smile. He wanted to show her taht he as not mad at her, but more at himself. "Good night Rhea-sama" said Sebastian as he unfurled his wings and flew into the night sky.

Sebastian was not mad at her at all, but in fact, he was mad at himself. He would forever be a demon and he could not understand the human need for socialising. Demons were creatures that knew only hate. They would fight for superiority. There was no such thing as happiness or friends for them and even if there were partners and comrades, they would be backstabbed. That was what Sebastian was - he enjoyed spiling blood. Deception and betrayal - it was the demon's law.

But later he got tamed by his master and slowly came to value life. He found that he was happy when his master and Rhea-sama was happy and he could shed tears when his master went away. But there were still things that he did not and could not understand. Sebastian didn't want to ruin the fun for Rhea-sama. He liked her. But he knew he could never be human.

Back in the shrine, Rhea would hear the bell ring as someone made a wish. But it wasn't like the usual ones. It was at an odd hour and the wish was more of a plea. There was a human boy outside about the same age as Rhea. He was crying desperately for help.

"Shrine gods! Please help me! My little sister is missing and I can't find her in the woods! The police think of me as a joke and no one can help me! Please Shrine gods! Help me find my sister before she dies of the cold!" came the voice from outside. The bo knelt on the ground, sobbing. He didn't know what to do.

(OOC: okie dokie. I'll think of something as well so it doesnt seem like im not helping at all xD)

Rhea looked up at her demon flew away, a frown forming on her face. Something was bugging him, though she wasn't sure what it was. She'd try asking him whenever he came back. The girl then jumped a bit as the familiar sound of the bell ringing throughout the shrine; it's been a while since she'd heard that noise. She then listened to the boy's prayer, her frown deepening. His sister was missing and no one wanted to help. Well, she wasn't going to sit around and do nothing. Grabbing her coat and a flashlight, Rhea stepped out in the chilled air and approached the sobbing boy. "I'll help you find your sister."

The boy was fillled with hope and he flashed a smile upon seeing Rhea come out of the shrine. "T-thank you kind Miss. What is your name? Are a tourist here? My name is David and my sister is called Tiffany. She's about 10 years old, although she has a cold and fever. I was getting medicine for her when she disappeared. I heard people say that she went into the forest around here" said the boy. David was just about as tall as Rhea and he was wearing only a white Tshirt with beige coloued pants. He also had a knapsack with him.

"Come with me, I'll show you the spot where I last searched" said David as he took out a tourist map.

Rhea shook her head and smiled a bit. "No, I'm not a tourist; I live in the shrine and my name is Rhea. Nice to meet you." She said and then listened carefully as he explained the situation further. Just why would his sister wonder off like that? She had no clue but something told her that it had something to do with the lesser demons that thrived in the forest. "Okay. I have a flashlight." She stated and then began to follow him deep into the forest. Looking up, the girl realized that it was getting dark. She hope dthat Sebastian wouldn't be too worried about her disappearing without saying anything...

High above on a mountain top was Sebastian. He was tasting the air for the scent of other demons, but there weren't any that were of threat. The only ones were the tiny morsels that could only be eaten as snacks. They feared him and did not carry the signature that he detected before. It was only a tiny blip then and Sebastian could not pinpoint where it came from or what it belonged to. And Sebastian was a powerful demon.

David lead Rhea deeper and deeper into the woods. They were now off the beaten track and the moonlight barely shone through. Eventually, even Rhea's flashlight went dead for some reason. Then David exclaimed "Over there!". David fished inside his knapsack and took out the little pink shoe that belonged to his sister. The other shoe was seen near a scrap that was once a car. Inside was David's little sister screaming for help.

"Nii-sama! Nii-sama! Help me! I got lost and climbed into this car and now I'm stuck inside" she wailed. And sure enough she was - the window was made of very tough glass and the girl had a bleeding ankle. She could not get out.

Rhea silently cursed the flashlight for going out; she could barely see the trapped little girl in the car and the moon wasn't providing enough light to barely see her hand in front of her face. As she approached the car, she discovered that the child was crying and injured. "Hold on...we'll get you out." Rhea said, trying to comfort the child and began to examine the doors and windows. Man, how much she wish Sebastian was here right now...

"Maybe we can break the glass with the flashlight.?"
