You said if Gregor severed the wooden part from the bladed part that he was going to step back and see what the next move was. So the scythe came in, hit the side of you only bruising you, however your move was to take the time to adjust toward the scythe, and then rotate your shield severing it. Well while severing it, it allows for Tristan to keep momentum because you have destroyed what would have caught him in his tracks and stop his momentum. Using this momentum he landed where he was suppose to on your right side, tossing the stake at you which was now the handle part of the scythe. Then charging forward, immediately after the throw to then strike the knee caps. You have to remember, there is a missile object coming at your right shoulder, so you would have to dodge that but then dodge the knee cap strike, or take the stake and dodge the knee cap strike. Either way you wouldn't be able to attack me or severing my head with your shield because you have two attacks coming at you, that you have to deal with first. Does that make sense, or did I read your question wrong? sorry if I did.
