    Angelfall (IC)

(Here's the OOC thread if anyone needs it. http://roleplayerguild.com/showthrea...with-Angels%29 )

It was past noon, but the weather was still unusually cold and dreary. There were stores being ransacked and humans fighting over whatever food they could find. Most of the humans had heavy coats and gloves on to try to protect themselves from the cold. The angels, of course, were unaffected by the harshness of the weather.

Amara silently sat on top of an abandoned building, staring at all the destruction that they, the angels, had caused. She blinked as a small breeze in the air made her long auburn hair fly back, causing her angelic flowery scent to flutter among the breeze. She glanced down at a group of angels who were already harassing some poor, unfortunate humans. She saw the angels briefly look up at her, knowing that she was there. However, they decided to let her be. She figured that either Uriel or Gabriel informed them of her leaving, and ordered them to keep on eye on her.

She helplessly folded her wings over her body in some sort of cocoon to shield herself from the rest of the destroyed world. She felt depressed, as always. She had no meaning on this world anymore. Without Uriel and Gabriel, she was nothing. She silently cursed herself, not understanding why she went against them and decided to leave.

Was it so wrong of her to think what the angels were doing was wrong? It pained her to know that her kin were the ones causing such destruction on the Earth. She didn’t understand this mission, to rid the world of humans. She wanted to believe that they weren’t all evil, there were some that were still kind-hearted.

She closed her eyes shut, trying to avoid the emotional war that was stirring up inside her heart and her brain.

A warehouse near the angels who were harassing the humans started making a sort of banging sound. The sound got louder and louder, the walls had dents in them and so did the door. The angels had turned around by now and one had went to investigate. As the angel got to the door and was about to open it, it flew off it's hinges and made him fall over.

Ghidorah walked out of the warehouse then he walked over the door the sheer weight of him and his armor crushed the angel underneath into nothing but a bloody mush. He waited for the angels to attack him some decided not to and ignored him but others came and attacked him. The drills on his arms started spinning he ducked under one of the angels' swords and then sliced him in half. Another one tried to attack his stomach to which he dodged back then stuck his drill into the angels stomach. The angel spun for a while before its limbs shot of and all that was left was the torso.

The attack came out of no where, Pure energy came out as fast as lightning down from the sky ripping into the angle closest to the human tearing it to pieces, after that a form landed between the reaming to angles. His Flaming Halberd swung in and arch slashing into the torso of one angel then he ripped it back slamming the pointed bottom into the gut of the last. He then channeled energy into his Halberd and it shot out both ends ripping the two in to pieces. The Fallen angel folded his black wings and turned to the human "run" he said his voice was low and raspy, He then turned to the demon creature who killed the other three angles. "I am Aaza'ra" He spoke in an old English accent as he set the end of his halbred down, he started to draw in energy that last attack using what he had already gathered for the fight. He then looked up to the angel sitting on the building "We are not alone Demon" he said looking at the angel. reading himself incase of an attack "tell me thine name demon".

His wings spread as the were the conduits for him to draw in energy and the more open the faster he could draw it in.

"For an angel you seem to be odly happy with killing your own kind." Ghidorah said in his low, English like accent. "I am king Ghidorah of the bloodmarshes" he said his drill arms flipping backwards revealing his armored hands. He held his hand out for a handshake. "I don't normally trust your kind but seeing as you killed those angels i feel as though you are not as...'pure' as the others".

Thomas Delatori moved quickly through the city, sticking to the shadows as he clutched his pistol in hand, shotgun strapped around his back. He eyes darted back and forth, looking for possible danger as he moved. The sound of battle could be heard in the distance, which meant there might be other angels around. and he did not want to meet any today. Or any other day, preferably. But that wasn't the world he lived in, so he'd just have to put up with it.

He kept moving. He needed to find a place to stay for the night, where he wouldn't be disturbed. With the state the city, and the world, was in, this was easier said than done. He did not move towards the fighting though, but rather away from it. Discretion was the better part of valor, and he could not kill an angel, merely annoy them. So on he went, in a ruined city. Who knew what the future would hold?
Due to personal issues, my computer time will be drastically reduced. I will try to post when I can, but for the foreseeable future, I will be pretty much unavailable.

"And that is the side you've chosen, Amara." Lucia said as she crept up behind the pouting angel. "Demons and betrayers running about mercilessly slaying our own kind. When I was told of your 'resignation' I knew it was not of hatred but of confusion. Uriel and Gabriel, as you can imagine, were very upset with you. How could you have turn away from us and God like you did? Lucia continued creeping up until she was right next to her ear. Her words turned into a faint whisper, I'm not here to slay you, Amara, I'm here to make you repent and hopefully redeem yourself. Think upon your sins, Amara, and look down upon those scornful demons down there. Do you really want to be like them?" Lucia grinned almost devilishly as she turned away and strolled along the rooftop channeling a bluish glowing energy. Without waiting for Amara's response, she teleported away.

Ghidorah looked up to the angels on the rooftop. "Are those your allies or your former allies?" he asked. The drills flipped back shielding his hands. He stepped forward slightly squinting under his helmet. Suddenly he fell to the floor in a coughing fit, he was not used to the air or coldness of the mortal plains. He ripped his helmet off and threw it on the ground near to him revealing the beatle like face of his. He got up a few seconds later and retrieved his helmet putting it back on "I'm sorry i am not used to the air here, it is much different from the blood marsh"

Amara unfolded her wings as she heard noises behind the warehouse that was a few blocks from where she was. She watched as the strange demon and fallen angels killed her own kind, however they saved the humans and helped them get away. The humans were frightened, but grateful. They sprinted out of there as fast as they could.

She noticed that the fallen angel was aware of her presence. She continued to stare at them, rather wary. She knew they weren’t exactly “fond” of angels.

As soon as she noticed someone creeping up behind her, she instinctively grabbed a hold of one of her sacred arrows, however, once she figured out it was Lucia, she let go of her hold on her arrow. As she listened to her speak, Amara kept her gaze away from hers, keeping her eyes on the demons who Lucia was pointing out. She decided to say nothing, as Lucia quickly teleported out of the area.

A few seconds passed before Lucia left, and Amara’s eyes narrowed. “How disappointing it is to know these demons are better than what we’ve become,” She faintly replied.

Aaza'ra looked to the demon and sneered some "I enjoy killing nothing, But I will not sit by idle as the humans are slain for simply being as god created them." He grew a bit distasted by the Demon as he killed the angles simply for the sake of killing them. "Do not confuse me with you Ghidorah" He said as he lept into the air flapping his wings and soon he was off. He saw two angles now, one walking away before vanishing, Saint Lucia he knew but the foul taste of her. Gracefully he landed on the building across from the other angel his wings folding behind him. "I wish you no harm, but leave and non shall come. I will not Allow you to harm the humans" He looked at her and then squinted, He knew her, but from where he could not say. She had her bow ready but she showed no real sign of using it, only kept it ready. "in good will" he waved his Halberd and soon it vanished "but angels are no longer welcome on earth. Pray that as you hunt your next human with that bow I am not near."

Ghidoras scowled slightly as the angel thought he was killing the angels for fun. He mumbled "Foolish angel, i kill for the sake of satan". He slowly walked back into the warehouse and sat on top of a box with a few metal objects inside. He waited for the next enemy to arrive, or the next ally either way he was ready for anything.
