NOTE: This is my first post
Summary:
The year is 2024, and what is left of the once great country known as "America" has completely vanished, due to the Third World War that broke out between the U.S.A and Russia. There was no warning. No Sign. Billions ended up dead from both sides, with severe damage that would not ever be fixed. After 3 months, those who survived by taking safety in a fallout shelter eventually ran out of supplies, and set out onto the ruins of the old world. Once they set out, they knew it did not mean the end to mankind, but just a new beginning for mankind. Once things eventually got figured out by the survivors, they started building great forts, where people lived with peace, and happiness. Each year in one of the forts there was a game called the "Pit" which two people where randomly selected from the fort to fight to the death in a giant gaping hole, with no escape, until there is only one person standing. The winner got to escape, won plenty of food, and won a house. While the other suffered a slow painful death. These games are held every year in the fort known as "Fort pastor". And that just seems to be today that the event will take place...
Rules:
- There will only be 2 players that fight in the arena! No more than two!
- You can only use your fists, and pick rocks up off the ground at the start of the match, until i throw in a random weapon.
- There will be no escaping until there is one person left standing, and one is left dead, cold on the ground
Features:
- Random weapons and items shall be given to a person in the middle of the round. Random NPC'S such as wacky things like mutants, and giant ants will be thrown into the pit for both opponents to fight!
Have fun!

First I am not going to fight. Second, you should lay out the rules as to what you expect from the fighters. Are these to be normal human beings? Are they fantasy creatures with magic/psionics or other powers? Third you should have posted it as an OOC thread so people could bounce character ideas off of you.
The writer who cares more about words than about characters, action, setting, and atmosphere is unlikely to create a vivid and continuous dream; he gets in his own way too much; in his poetic drunkenness, he can't tell the cart- and its cargo- from the horse.
-John Gardner
"Grieve not, wise warrior. It is better
to avenge one's friend than mourn too much.
Each of us must one day reach the end
Of worldly life, let him who can win
glory before he dies: that lives on
after him, when he lifeless lies."
