Cricket had paused. Stopped in place, his balance teetering somewhat on the ground. He would've made a face of confusion, or show complete and other panic about the situation. He tried to scream to Fox that this was some sort of trap, though he couldn't speak. He was helpless. He was doomed. He couldn't even say his cards name now!

The sudden ring of phones echoed the house. It was unusually loud the ringing. Though what interrupted his thoughts what that Cricket's phone vibrating in his pocket, which caught him off guard. He would've reached for it, though he couldn't.The phone had went to speaker after ringing a certain amount of times, where that crazy lady explained that there was already death of a player. An image flashed in front of his face. A map. revealing the location of players. Cricket stared at all the locations, trying to memorize them in his head quickly. Then a quick look to where they were and where they headed. They were near the start off of players. Cricket bit his lip somewhat as he saw that, and all of a sudden the image of the map disappeared, and after a creepy sentence by the mad woman, he could begin to move again, where he heard a shaky voice behind him say. Though Cricket couldn't take his mind off about it if that player had been Fox. Fox's soothing voice reached his ears, interrupting his thoughts.

"Love, someone is really dead. they intend ter kill us. "

Cricket looked at her. His eyes red somewhat from the stinging of his watery eyes. He hoped she wouldn't notice them."Yeah..." He did a big exhale which came out disguised as a sigh, he was trying to calm himself down. To help keep himself, and Fox calm and collected. His eyebrows were narrowed somewhat, he was concerned about his and Fox's well-being. If they did survive. When they survive. Would they be able to handle their guilty conscious about all the killing? The sight of dead bodies they would soon see? Cricket looked around the room they were in, his eyes adjusting to the darkness. Though it didn't help much. Though he could make out an image...

    "Criket....are you alrigh'?"

His eyes widened somewhat, seeing the image get bigger. The swinging of something, No, it was arms pumping. Someone was charging at them! But he couldn't see the other anywhere. Within a second of seeing the man charging at him. He yelled,"Look out!" Being as intimidating and as loud as he can. He wanted Fox to listen. He wanted Fox safe. He shoved her out of the way, getting tackled by a man about his size. The man had taken about one to two running paces. And was about 6 meters from him. Cricket, already having his card drawn, went to his second instinct, his biggest hope. All Cricket wanted to was to protect his love, he didn't really care for himself at the second, just her. Just Fox.

    "The Emperor!"

Cricket as soon as he called out the name, he heard the voice of the card. Sounding somewhat powerful. Wise. Someone you would Respect. Someone that sounded of a Leader. His conversation was quite short,...though now, he knew what to do. His eyes that were worried seemed to have confidence now. His voice when he spoke sounded more...intimidating. Wise. Knowledgeable. Like he knew exactly what to do in the situation. Someone you would respect greatly.

He quickly went down to the ground instinctively, kicking his leg out, and tripping the man and the man tumbled to the ground past him. As the man fell Cricket stood up, Cricket's eyes looked like he had a plan. Cricket looked over at Fox, gesturing towards her club, and then to the man, making a little 'circle' with the use of his finger. To head behind the man. Cricket then stared at the man. His voice boomed, and appeared to echo throughout the house. His voice not angry, though almost...warningly. He wanted respect. "How DARE you. A man such as yourself, even TRY and fight me? And even possibly THINK" He raised his voice. " Of trying to hurt my girl!" The sentence echoing throughout the house. "I demand Respect! " He said, still raising his voice. " And you shall give it to me! Show me that your a man of honour!" He yelled. "Show me your respect!" The man had turned, looking at Cricket in the eyes. Cricket eye's showed nothing of a threat towards the man. All Cricket did want was respect. "Have I, ever done such things?" Cricket snorted. "No." Cricket said loudly before the man could speak. "Have I, ever tried to kill you?" He walked up to the man, the man still laying on the ground, listening to every word of Cricket's. "No. So prove to me your Honour! And I shall give you respect! If you respect ME! Give me whatever weapons you have! Whatever god foresaken thing you would even TRY to kill me with! " He boomed. Cricket didn't pay any attention to Fox, or how she even reacted or possibly say to him. The man had slowly, gingerly bowed. Slipping from his pocket a thing that made Cricket's eyes lit up. The man's card. Too bad Cricket couldn't use it till he was dead. "That's better." He said, being back to an inside voice, sighing somewhat. Like this was an every day thing for him.

He looked over at Fox, gesturing to the Blunt weapon she held again while the man still bowed.

So it obviously had some control over her.

"Goodness, Gracious. I don't know what came over me." Snake raised an eyebrow, somethin' was wrong with her. She couldn't have not had any control at all, and she obviously was trying to trick him. He'd fallen for it multiple times. She took the sleeve of her coat and wiped away the crusted blood that was splattered over her face. Snake finally noticed that she actually wasn't hurt. Damn, she'd fooled him again, though her hand was bleeding from something, so that was where the blood had come from. Snake seethed silently. The girl bent over to pick up her fallen scarf, making eye contact with him. It was very awkward.

She ran back to the tower, which made Snake jump from the sudden movement. ""
Cockroach scanned the area surrounding the tower searching for her scarf which had mysteriously vanished. Darkness cast a menacing new face on the tower as shadows crept up on the forest. The trees began to extend their unwelcoming claws at the pair and the howl of wolves echoed from all directions ushering them to leave.

"Shit.. Ah'm sorry, but can we have a truce, please? Ah was just a little angry, thas' all. Didn't mean t' threaten y'. But ah don't think you should use that card again, Cockroach. It did somethin' to y'. Somethin' bad." Snake said.

As she was about to reply a sharp pain in her neck petrified her body like stone but once again her short attention span got the better of her, 'This is strange.' ... 'Where did you put your scarf?' ... 'I've literally no idea.' ... 'Esto es ridículo' ... 'I've not a clue what your saying.' ... 'Te estás perdiendo todo loco señora está diciendo.' She thought, Unable to raise her eyebrows but still bewildered by her own chain of thought.

    "I told you," Dragon mumbled.

Cat supposed that 'I told you so' was warrented. And he was too busy trying to get his heart beat back to normal to really spend too much time considering a suitable rebutal. Two bodies right by the door. He really didn't want to, but couldn't help thinking about the amount of bodies that might be scattered through the rest of the place. Or maybe these were struck down as they tried to escape. Wait... what if they were previuos players? Two winners were found out that those they won, they still couldn't leave? Or was it the other way around? Two victims killed by other players?

Dragon's voice cut through the whirpwind of thoughts and possibilites that was picking up momentum in his head. A cave? Would that be any good? Not that staying in the death ridden house was much of an option at the moment. He took a breath (through his mouth, not his nose) and steeled himself to step forward. "We sho-"

His body tensed adn ceased up. Not of his own violation. And that lady was back. He was really begining to hate that woman. Could she have picked a worse moment? Now he was stuck, precariously balanced on one leg, forced to breath in that horridly tainted air from the house.

“These map isn’t quite up to date, so don’t think you are safe down south! A crate will be arriving in the morning; however I won’t tell you WHEN it is coming! You need to check those phones dearies to see if the location has been updated. Sleep well my warriors and know ….we are watching…”

Gods! She did that on purpose! At least when his body was his again, he didn't stumble too much, so he was spared from having to grasp something. At least fortune didn't want to completely screw him over. He muttered under his breathe. He didn't risk checking the phone either. He might need it. "We should at least raid the kitchen." Cat said. "A knife would make a much better weapon than a glass chunk. And I doubt anyone would still be in this house. Not after the train hit it."

Dragon felt her body come back to her and she heaved a sigh of relief. As soon as she felt her arms come back to normal she hastily shoved her hand in her back pocket and yanked the cellphone out, flipping it open and thankfully the map was still there. She studied it for a while but it was no use focusing in her current state of mind. Instead, she flipped it closed and put it back into her pocket, wincing when the glass shards she had put in her front pocket dug into her thigh.

“How do you know there even is a kitchen?” She asked, eyeing the hallway with obvious disgust. She was entirely willing to bet her slaughterhouse theory from earlier was correct so why on earth would it have a kitchen? But she agreed with Cat, it was better than carrying glass chunks around. “Nevermind… lead the way.” Dragon hurriedly said before he decided to retort. Taking a few steps towards the open hallway, she absentmindedly wondered whether the smell was even bearable for more than a few minutes. “There must be a lot of dead people in there for it to have such a strong stench…” She moved closer to the doorway and before stepping in, she stuck her head inside, scanning the hallway for anything lurking in the shadows.

Dragon didn’t know if she normally was a paranoid person but this place was making her hair stand on end. Why were there so many corpses inside – assuming from the smell – and why were there two maids practically decaying on the doorstep? Was it the result of a previous ‘game’ just like theirs? She shuddered and straightened her back, standing just beside the doorway waiting for Cat to go in first. If there was anything, Dragon assumed Cat could handle it better because she herself suspected she just might die of a heart attack if anything popped out from behind a door or just about anywhere.

Snake jumped when Cockroach whirled around to face him. She seemed a little angry, possibly at him. Probably. She pulled out her phone, flipping it open and pointing it at him. She was about to reply when a sharp pain entered into Snakes wrist, seemingly doing the same for Cockroach. He couldn't move. Not even blink.

As they all remain motionless, their phones rang and went to speaker.

“Dearies! Oh me oh my you have been so busy!” there was a pause as a cackle crossed the line, “..one of you has already taken a life….and a new card! They are halfway to victory…or perhaps they just like the feel of blood on their hands, hmm?” Another cackle, “No..seek danger from all sides, one of you might not be who they say they are…others are trained killers!” There was a silence on the phone, “Dearies night is here, there are creatures that prowl these lands. The phone flicked and revealed a the map and a location of each survivor, then faded away leaving no trace of anyone. “These map isn’t quite up to date, so don’t think you are safe down south! Snake shivered when he recovered. This lady... she was insane. No doubt about it. How could she do this?! It was impossible. Sure, Snake didn't know much about physics and stuff, but he was sure this was all not right. Snake grunted and shaked his head. This was all too crazy. He sighed and then looked up at the huge tower. What was that...? There was something wriggling in the breeze. Was that... Cockroach's scarf? It was. He looked to her and then pointed up at the scarf. Well, he might as well do a favor for the girl and go get it. Snake quickly walked over to the tower, examining it for a moment before starting to climb. He would at least get a good view of the entire area, too.

The moon was high, illuminating the plains in which the two figures sat, one masculine and seated-the other feminine and lying stiff as a board in the dirt.

Oak was absent-mindedly going over his plan in his head, waiting for Owl to regain her senses as he had, using a stick to draw a map from memory in the loose dry soil. Several minutes passed, the map nearly completed before the older man realized it was taking Owl a considerable time to regain consciousness, or at least movement of her limbs. Turning to face her, Oak noted the permanent look of exasperation on her features as she had been addressing the 'Fool' when the collars began their work.

Her breathing was shallow, her breast undulating in the moonlight. Something, something wasn't right, this felt... familiar? The young girl's frame was lithe, taut from years of running; Oak gazed over her form several times before meeting her gaze. Her eyes were wide, the corners gathering tears from her inability to blink, or was it that she saw the glint in his eye? Emotionless, Oak climbed atop her paralytic body, her eyes growing in terror.

Muscle memory, habit, or simply a sadistic nature, something drove Oak on, though he felt the pit of his stomach tighten as he wrapped his stern hands around her throat. Placing his thumbs against her esophagus, he began to tighten his grasp. No, this is wrong, this is murder! Owl's breaths became more ragged, her face turning a cherry red and her eyes growing larger than would be attractive on her face. The young woman's ragged breaths caught as Oak pressed still against her slender neck, choking the life from her when unceremoniously the inevitable happened.

Oak pulled his hands from Owl's throat, the young woman gasping shallow for breath. She looked up at her attacker, eyes stinging with tears, purple blotches around her neck. Still kneeling atop the woman, his weight heavy on her, Oak leaned in next to her face, his own breath short from adrenaline and anticipation.

"I may be the Fool, but it seems the joke's on you."

Lifting Owl's shirt from her body, Oak set about his dark deed.

"That's probably enough rest for now..." Knight said this, but was having a hard time convincing himself of it. He stood up, wobbly on his feet at first but was, at least for now, relatively stable. He began to walk toward the mound, just far enough so he could see what the land held for him further out. Appeared to be grasslands, wonderful. It would probably be safer walking through a field in which he was highly visible than through a forest ripe with ambush though.

Knight started his way down, but, before he could even lay his first step down, he was overcome with rigidness. It wasn't long before the crazy lady's voice came over the speaker of his phone, which was still situated in his pocket. As soon as he was given back control of his body he scrambled for the cellular device. He saw the map. Damn, people probably knew he was the one who had killed already. It did surprise him though that he was so isolated, much like those two at Car 1, and decided based on the map to head south. He began his trek. Weariness though, was a bitch and promptly stopped him before he could make much ground.

He headed for the trees, probably the best place to sleep would be among the branches. He was, quite obviously, alone, so being up high would protect him not only from opportunistic players, but any sort of wandering wildlife. A few yards in, he found the, from what his memory dictated, the perfect nook in a tree to sleep. He climbed, and positioned himself so that he could slip off without much problem; it was surprisingly comfortable at that. Before nodding off, he wondered how he knew such a tree was perfect, and he go his answer. He remembered that... he was a soldier, in the military; that explained a certain amount to him, and he was certain to learn more in the next few days.
Don't take me seriously or I may have to kill you!

Cockroach broke into a fit of hearty laughter as Snake directed her attention to the scarf eighty feet above them. She thought about how moments ago she had viciously attacked the man, She thought about the Spanish voice in her head, She thought about how casually the pair were treating the invasive injection of paralyzing venom into their bodies, The tower that was magically conjured from the earth and finally she pondered how it was possible for her to remain relatively calm with such an implausible script. Cockroach perched herself down onto the root of a tree and sat watching Snake as he scaled the tower. The giggles began to subside and a feeling of intense comradery overcame her. She raised her voice and shouted, "We're certainly a bizarre duo aren't we?!" then she threw the jagged stone into the bushes.

"It's a house. There will be a kitchen," Cat muttered. It seemed to be a response to Dragon, but it was also partially something of a self reassuring statement. Besides, those women looked to be on the house maid side, so there would likely be a kitchen to service them and the others who would have called it home. There might even be food for them to scrounge for their use. He glanced back at the setting sun. By his math, it was still a few minutes left, so he would still have to be careful.

So, with Dragon still hanging back, he put on his brave manly face and stalked him as if it were nothing extremely out of the ordinary. Still, he moved a bit dicely around the bodies. He had seen the map when Dragon flipped it open. There were others not extremely far away. As much as he would like to remove this vile place from that map, but then he and Dragon would have to move very quickly in order to flee the flaming beacon.

There were pictures in the halls. The same woman, happy and smiling. It was... depressing. He tried his best to ignore them. The kitchen. The Kitchen. The kitchen... "What sort of kitchen has no knifes!" he yelled. It was all silver forks and spoons. Scattered around the place. He unconsciously gripped the counter. In a few moments, there was a flame licking at the wood of the counter top. He yelped and hoped back. Crap. "Um... the forks. We can grab some. The tines are sharp and can be a useful weapon. Safer than glass shards anyway."

Dragon huffed with exasperation. He still wanted to go in? There was absolutely no way she would set foot in that place, let alone raid the kitchen. It was getting dark as well and they still hadn’t found a place to sleep. But apparently Cat didn’t really care about that little fact as he just walked in. She hesitated, her fear overpowering everything else. She really, really, really didn’t want to go in at all.

She stood at the doorway, fidgeting and turning to look at the darkening sky. It wouldn’t be long until it was night and this house thing would probably draw other people closer in hopes of finding something useful. Finally deciding to just run in quickly without looking at the dead maids and any other dead bodies, Dragon took off in the direction she’d seen Cat take. For a moment, she stood in the dark hallways, uncertain as to where Cat had gone but she quickly followed the sound of his voice when he yelled out.

“What happened?” Dragon burst in just as she saw him move away from the counter. The floor was scattered with silverware and as she looked around, there were no knives to be seen. “Look, let’s just go. It’s getting really dark outside and we should find shelter before we get killed.” She said in obvious discomfort, wanting to just get out of here as soon as possible. “Please.”

“Besides, we can go towards the supply crate tomorrow!” She said, flipping open her phone and turning its screen towards Cat. It was a stupid and desperate attempt to convince him but she was planning on telling him anyway. “It’s not too far from here…” She looked at the phone’s map and showed it to him again. ’Yeah, right…’ She thought. Even though she didn’t really know the area well, it had to be big enough to hold 22 players far enough from each other.
