Sam watched as they walked in step "What do you want to talk about, then?" She said quietly. She pulled her hair over her right shoulder.

Taro pondered the question for a moment, unsure of how to answer- He wasn't interested in many things, but didn't want to force Sam into an arkward conversation, instead he ironicaly took the simplest thing he could, smirking before asking, "Whats your favorite colour?"

Sam giggled again "Red. Yours?" Sam wondered what he did in his freetime, but didn't ask. She wasn't sure what kind of things were appropriate to talk about between.... Friends? She wasn't even sure what they were, let alone what to talk about.

Taro smiled at her giggle, he'd never really heard heard someone laugh that nicely around him before, "Green" He said, realising that was the colour of her eyes. He continued with another question "Favorite instrument?"

Sam nodded then stopped saying anything for a minute, she had to think about that. She played piano since she was a child, and it was beautiful, but she liked Violins and other instruments she had always wanted to play. "Cello." She decided.

"Cello huh?" He considered what his favorite instrument would be, the piano? No, he liked it, but, it just wasn't quite right. Violin? he did like them too, he smiled as he realised, a flute was his favorite, he lied how it sounded. "I like flutes..."

Sam smiled "They are nice. Can you play any instruments?" She played piano, but she was more artistic than musically talented. She had always wished she was more musical though. It was something she was very jealous of some people.

Taro wished he'd learnt to play an instrument, though he knew that he would never have time for it. "No, I've never learnt." he paused for a moment, "I always wanted to though... Who am I kidding, I still want to learn. I doubt I ever will though" He looked at her "Do you?"

Sam nodded "It's never to late to learn. It's a bit difficult at first, but I'm sure you'd get it." She thought about her favorite song on the piano and started to tap her thigh with her fingers "I've played piano since I was six." She shrugged.

Taro remembered her saying that she'd started drawing at six too, "Wow, I envy you. I, if its not too much to ask, could I hear you play sometime?" He didn't listen to music much, and would love to hear her play sometime, though he wasn't sure if he was asking too much.
