The first four contracts I received where from Herzinth. Each of these contracts said that Herzinth voted Yes and the other participant voted No, with the one who goes through to the next question giving the other ten points. Superficially a way of covering loses, but in practice a way of ensuring most people voted No at a fairly low cost, this quickly got out but three contracts with Grif, Nat and Darkmatter where signed whereas one with Bluemoon was rejected.
The next spate of contracts I got was from Cid. One between Herzinth, Bluemoon, Squee and Cid was intended to edge bets by having them have a Yes and a No vote each round, at the end each participants prize money would be restored to 100 then the pot equally divided. A contract was also signed between CidtheKid, FirePaladin and Grif that they would all vote Yes and would do the same if one of them wins. The final contract was between DarkMatter and CidtheKid agreeing that Cid would vote Yes and Darkmatter No with the prize pot being divided equally. Cid's plan at this point being to lose but make a profit practically regardless of who wins.
Now the first round of voting saw Herzinth, FirePaladin, CidtheKid and SebasChan go through on the Yes vote. This could of tipped however on Grif's vote who signed contracts to vote both Yes and No. In light of this I've decided my earlier decision to fine him twenty points was incorrect as he kept Herzinth's contract. Instead he will not gain from his contract with Cid and Fire and the contract will apply only between the two of them. Sorry for any confusion may earlier decision caused, but the decisions arent always clear cut.
Only two contracts where signed in the final round. The first that Cid would vote No and Fire Yes with each paying the other 100 points for that vote so the cost to breaking it would be 100 points. The second was that FirePaladin would give Squee a loan of 690 points of which she can keep 40 if she returned 650 whenever asked. This put FirePaladin at -590 points and Squee at 690.
I could not get in touch with SebasChan so the votes for this round where. FirePaladin Yes, Herzinth Yes, CidtheKid No. Making CidtheKid the winner. Right, now to fulfill those contracts. The one with Darkmatter is the easiest, a prize pot of 900 split between them would leave Darkmatter with 460 points and CidtheKid 550. The one between Bluemoon, Squee, Herzinth and CidtheKid would first restore them all to 100 points and then divide the remaining 1360 points between them so they would all have a total of 440 points. The final one now only with FirePaladin first restores them both to 100 points which considering FirePaladin's -590 only leaves 210points to be divided so they both have 205 points. As it was Cid who took part in all of these contracts gambling on losing because if he won he couldn't fulfill all of them he will have to shoulder the debt to make these scores possible.
