"Supposedly there was something called land above the water at some point and humans used to live on it. Then the world flooded and it was swallowed up by water" Joshua said
"I think they're making things up" Amelia said, brushing some hair out of her face. As she did so just the barest outline of a bruise could be seen from underneather her shirt sleeve

Amelia finally got her arm out of Ryu's grip but she didn't say anything and was hesitant for a few seconds
"Don't look too long" she said, before taking off her shirt and jeans, revealing bruises all over her body, in area's that would be hidden by her prefered choice of clothing
