Eva flew through the tunnels, desperately looking for Gordon. She flew as fast as she could, turning every corner until she heard a familiar hiss. Her eyes widened and she heard in the direction quickly, feeling his presence getting closer as she did. She’d be next to him soon.

Gordon's voice turned normal, "Stronger, yes i can agree, but then i have to make you weaker" With the tentacles going around him, Gordon had do the last trick up his sleeve. He made the loudest snake noise he had made his entire life. The snake head gave a death gaze upon the fallen Angel. Gordon's head went clean of his body, it jumped towards Azazel. It began to speak the last spell "nirod looc labast det kontrago" Gordon's body turned into black chains. warping itself around the angel, it went into his skin and burned. "You said you wanted to harm the one i call wife, with my life i will use it has the last resort" The chains still burning into his skin, like a black tattoo around the angels body without making him brake or lose limbs. "With this spell you can't touch, feel her presents or harm her" the snake head died out...

Azazel froze when the snake head completely detached from the body. He wanted to look away and retreat but some unknown force kept him staring into its eyes. Before he even knew what was happening, the black chain had completely wrapped around him.

Thousands upon thousands of voices screaming from every angle, their claws hooking into each crevice of his being. They slide into the thinnest of spaces that separate Azazel and the flesh he once borrowed, then came to own wholly, expanding and consuming until the gaps disappear. His corrupted grace flares violently, desperate in trying to fend away the spell relentlessly encroaching upon him, but the fight was futile. Azazel hammered his grace against the chains, its already dim light muffled completely by their presence. They hiss and coil more tightly around him, rippling in amusement over his endless attempts to escape them. And then, the burning ended just as abruptly as it began and the chains dissolved into mere imprints upon his skin.

"What...?" The fallen angel took a moment to catch his breath before inspecting the new markings.

Presea pushed the grass away looking for her knife when Wolf's hand grabbed her wrist. She tried to pull her arm away from him but his grip was too strong for her at the moment to break free. "Presea Aves, Nice to meet you too." she said. Presea finally calmed down and just sat in the grass. A soft breeze blew her hair to the side and it looked even longer now. "I'm fine, just some bruises and cuts." she said when she saw his worry. Presea sighed. "Actually maybe more than some. But I've been training to stand pain, ready to fight anything. I should've worked harder though.." Presea looked at her sign. "Ki, spirit and mind.. Power to continue no matter what circumstances. Why did you ask about the sign though? Do you have one too?" she asked curiously. She grabbed his hand to see if he had one. Nothing. What about his other hand? "Show me your other hand." she ordered him. "Let me see it."

James shrugged showing her his other hand that displayed it's symbol "One guy talked to me about it sometime ago... About two hours before he got killed by a accident. He said something about warrior but that was it. I guess someone placed it on me when I was asleep or something but ever since I can remember it's been there." He said kneeling down in front of her before continuing. "I'm just a soldier in a new war. Whenever you're ready we can head back even if it means I have to carry ya."

Eva flew barreling into where she’d heard Gordon’s voice coming from, but stopped suddenly, her eyes widened at what appeared to be another angel… but a fallen one. She was still hovering, batting her wings and just staring at the man, before blinking her eyes a few times and beginning to search for her husband. “Where is he?” she mumbled, searching for Gordon under large fallen stones and calling out into smaller pipes, wondering if he had slithered away. When she couldn’t find him she turned to the other in the tunnel. “What have you done?” she asked darkly.

"You son of a b***h," Azazel growled, baring sharp, shark-like teeth as he finally managed to tear his eyes away from the fallen snake head, to the pretty little angel standing in front of him and regarding her with cool blue eyes. "I think the better question would be what he did to me."

The fallen angel stared at the black markings now coiling around his arms and torso, snarling animalistically at them as if it would them disappear. Suddenly, he snapped his head up, shooting an icy glare at the other angel that would freeze anyone's blood in their veins.

"Look at you," he mocked, "I was like you once. Now I barely remember ever being so pure... so unstained."

Presea studied the sign. "Another Japanese Kanji hm?" Presea wondered. "I guess your angel should drop soon to tell you the full story." Presea stood up groaning from the pain. "Say, what's your place in the army?" she asked him. "And what team?" she searched for her knife again, just not as much in a hurry as before. Presea followed her blood that had fallen on the floor to see if there is any trace of the knife. She looked left of her and saw something shiny and black. The black was probably the demon's blood. "Ah," she sighed in relief. "My knife." and slowly picked it up. "I'll be walking myself." she replied to what he said earlier while putting her knife back to where she always has it, a special pocket for her knife on her side. "Don't waste your energy." he'd probably argue with her how she'd be wasting more energy than necessary when she's already wounded. Presea wiped her forehead with the back of her hand and looked at Wolf. "I guess we're going then? Your team will be worried about you if you won't come back soon."

Wolf nodded with soo many questions building up in his thoughts that began to create an agononizing confusion for him. He thought back when she asked about his team with great relief, he needed something to take his mind off of everything transitioning into things he knew well. "Well. Master sergeant of the national guard thirty third infantry brigade... Most the guys are at the Middle East with only me and the handful of guys I got." He said as if it was routine to say all the information he just said. One she got up he opened his mouth to object but closed his jaw shut assuming it was a fight not worth protesting. He shifted his rifle that was attached to his uniform and walked beside her. "So we're heading to manhattan as I am afraid that you already know. Why does it interest you in heading up that way?"
