Sedi leaned on the tree trunk, on her face a soft smile ran across since she had reached her favorite part of the book. It was when the main character showed his courage by protecting his best friend. She always loved sappy bits like these.

Ashley and Aaron were in the supermarket, arguing not too quietly. They always had little arguments, over the silliest things, like this time.
"Aaron, we got nine grain last time, we're getting whole wheat!" Ashley shouted, putting the loaf of bread in the cart.
"You always get what you want, all I want is one freaking loaf of bread that I'll actually eat! You don't even eat bread!" Aaron replied, crossing his arms.
"I don't eat it because you always get the gross nine grain!"
Not all who wander are lost.
Kylie brushed her short, black hair from her face and leaned back against a huge tree that lined the path she had followed into the forest. Her blue eyes gleamed as a demon's would, with mischief, and she smiled silently to herself. "I'm bored," she thought aloud, scratching her head unconsciously.
Ethan was still sitting quietly under his own tree in the forest.
Humming quietly to herself, Kylie started walking again, bouncing on the balls of her feet off the forest path. She saw something up ahead, and slowed down, then noticed it was a boy, maybe her age. Padding up to him, she looked over her skinny jeans and loose, blue tank top. 'Hmm, I look presentable,' she thought. Aloud, she said "Hey there."
The twins left the supermarket, without buying anything, after being kicked out for being too loud.
"This is your fault." Ashley said to a brooding Aaron, "All we needed was a loaf of bread and now we're on their 'watch out for' list."
Aaron couldn't help but laugh. "Hey, its actually pretty funny to be kicked out of somewhere because of bread." He paused, and then looked at the forest. "Race you to the woods!" He shouted as the short faerie took off running.
"Hey! No fair!" Ashley shouted as she ran after her twin.

Kylie smiled softly. "I'm Kylie," she murmured, somewhat shyly, tilting her head to the side slightly.
"Ethan." Ethan said as he stood up, well talking to this girl did make him feel better after having been annoyed a minute ago before he met Kylie. Hmm, well at least she isn't human. He thought, but didn't return the smile.
Kylie watched quietly as he stood up, feeling a quiet sense of relief when he didn't move to attack her. She was so used to people and demons alike going after her because she was Satan's daughter. "Nice name," she shot him another grin, even though he hadn't smiled once since she'd started talking to him.
