Too many things, too little

First thing's first: I have the habit of not finishing roleplays. Either I, or my partner, quit posting before we even get half way. I'm telling you now as your only warning. I also only RP via e-mail.

I'm not much of a fan of romance, so unlike many people on this site I don't have a list of pairings I'm into. I'd rather not have romance, but if the characters have a pull towards each other then I'll let it happen, and even then it's a bit hard for me to think they have a pull towards each other.

But, I'm fun! Well, I think so. Here's some plots.

Charisma, curse or gift?

After a mishap from a clumsy wizard-to-be, somehow a lucky druid is able to manifest a physical form, one that even normal humans can see, and part from his tree at night. The young druid is able to mingle, to see town life, to experience being human for once. For once, he feels the emotion of happiness. The emotions that start coming at night, are not felt during day when he is back with his tree and only visible to those wizards-to-be. He wants more of the emotions, he wants to feel them all the time... in fact the druid wants to no longer be a druid, so reaching out to the clumsy wizard-to-be, he requests to be transformed into entirely human. But how can the wizard-to-be do this? A druid's life depends upon their tree, if you severe the link, then you kill the druid... or is there a way to truly change him forever?

A Dance with The Devil

The times are reminiscent of the victorian age however just with technologically advanced weapons. As a captain is sailing the skies, his ship is suddenly eaten up by thick clouds. There's nothing they can do, so they continue sailing forward, east. All the compasses on the ship had switched to east and refused to turn to north, south or west. They crash into a tree, the sides being ripped apart, crew screaming as the captain does his best to get them back into order. He barks orders so that they can get all they brought and make it safely down. Once down they realize there's something strange about the island. Something strange about woman in a dress whom runs as soon as she sees them.

The game starts a month after being at the island, already a few of his men had died. Poisoned by the cursed land, and seeing horrid, monstrous creatures of fairy tales the captain becomes determined to find a way to leave the island, even if that means killing every creature he sees.
