The Thing That Never Dies
Ringo went into the kitchen and pulled out some steak from the refrigerator and started to cut it up into small strips. He got out a pan and started his stove waiting for it to heat up before adding the meat into the pan. He went out and looked at Agatha, "Are you allergic to any kinds of vegetables or do you not like any of them." he asked wanting to make sure that he didn't put something into the stir fry that she didn't like.

"No allergies, nothing I dislike, really. So no worries," she said in reply to his questions. Though she was now distracted by the drawing her hand had just done. Not what she had expected really. Though quickly she flipped to a blank page, and started drawing something else, not letting her hand take over with her power, but drawing what she wanted to draw. Part of her wished what her power drew would come true, but she thought it would be too much. Though, how could something like that happen in just the next few hours to the next day? Since that's how far ahead her powers worked. Unless this was an exception.

Ringo smiled, "Okay, it should be ready soon then." he said noticing her flip to a blank page, he would have to ask if he could see what she drew later maybe. He went into the kitchen and got out different vegetables and cut them up small throwing them into the pan. He went and started mixing everything adding some pepper so it would be a little bit spice. He got out a steamer and put in the rice and some water and turned it on. He turned down the heat on the stove so that they stir fry would stay warm while he waited on the rice before walking back out and sitting next to Agatha's foot. "Food should be ready soon, just waiting on the rice. How does the ankle feel?"

Agatha kept working on her second drawing. The pen worked skillfully across the paper creating an image from Agatha's imagination, a creation of her own, not of her power. She was just finishing this drawing, one of a rearing horse, when Ringo came back in. He sat by her foot, and asked how it felt. Though as he came, the smell of food cooking followed him. The scent caused Agatha's stomach to growl loudly.
"It feels better. The swelling has probably gone down now," she stated about her ankle. "It doesn't hurt as much, but then it might be num from the icepack."

Ringo smiled, "I figured that would happen, ill take it off right now and take a look at it." he said smiling. He went and undid the tape and took off the ice pack. Her ankle looked almost back to normal, "If you want you can try to walk on it now." he said getting up and throwing the tape away but throwing the ice pack back in the freezer. He went and checked on the rice and saw that it was done, he opened the lid and let all the steam out. "If you can walk food is ready, if not I can come get you cause food is ready." he said chuckling at his joke.

She examined her ankle after he took off the ice. The swelling was gone now and it looked normal. So she decided she should go ahead and try to put some weight on it. Putting it on the floor, she first stood on her good ankle, then gradually put weight on the other. She winced. It hurt a little, but not as bad as before. It almost felt bruised. Hearing Ringo say that dinner was ready, she put her notebook back in her pocket, and limped to the kitchen, keeping most weight on her good foot as much as possible.
"I can walk a little bit. Though I probably shouldn't strain it too much," Agatha said.

Ringo smiled as he saw her limp into the kitchen, "It's better then not being able to walk at least, it will probably feel better tomorrow." he said smiling. "You can sit at the table and I can dish your plate so you don't have to move around as much." he said going and getting 2 plates out of the cupboard. He dished up the stir fry and put half of it on each of their plates knowing it was alot. He sat the plates down at the table, "Don't worry if you can't finish it all, I just dished up everything in the pan." he said and sat down.

Agatha nodded, and went and limped over to the table and sitting down as he dished out the stir fry. She thanked him as he placed one of the plates infront of her, her eyes going wide. It looked so good. Though she knew for a fact she wouldn't be able to eat all of it.
"If anything, I hear stir fry is good re-heated as left overs," she said, waiting for him to sit down, then hesitated. Was he religious where he would want to pray over the meal or not? She wasn't sure. It would certainly be a bit odd. An assassin that had such a belief. But then she moved the thought out of her mind. It really didn't matter. Her stomach growled again, and she gave a sheepish smile. "Dig in?"

Ringo sat down and looked at her wondering why she hadn't started to eat, he smiled when she asked, "Yeah, I was wondering why you hadn't already I thought something was wrong with the food for a second their." he said taking a forkful and eating it. He smiled but wanted some more spice so he got up and grabbed the Tabasco sauce, he put some all over his food and tried it smiling as it was just the right amount of heat. "Would you like some." he said setting the bottle in the middle of the table so she could grab it if she wanted some. He went and dug into his food glad he could finally eat after all the time he hadn't.

As Ringo started eating, she picked up her fork and did the same. "Mmmmm" she said in delight. "This is really good!" She said, eating more. And to her it was. When he offered the sauce, she shook her head, liking it as it was. For her it was delicious. "Don't think I've had a home cooked meal like this in awhile."
