Mike wondered who else got the message as he headed towards the pods.

Forest blinked, fondling the same dog tags she had on her neck. Funny. She looked over at the bushes.
"I-I think I can get to the bushes but that's about all..." she whispered, trying to ne helpful.

"Where's Mike he had not gotten his serum today?!?" a scientist says worried.

"I'll carry you, your wounded. Its a mile walk to the hideout... these are humans that are willing to help with the cause." He says gesturing to the men gathering the weapons.

She opened her mouth to protest, but sighed and closed it for a moment other then mumbling an ok.

Mike saw the escape pods and stared at them, they were so small and he was....Well, not the smallest. If he wanted to be comfortable he'd have to find something bigger.

He carried her with the other soldiers following to the hideout which is a farm with a large house, barn, and a storm cellerwhich has been expanded to hold more things and possibly house some people if they wish to stay there

Blood trailed behind them as they walked. She looked down and closed her eyes, trying to calm her thtobbing head.

"Mike! I'm so glade I found you! I have your medicine right here." A scientist says holding serum along with two soldiers accompanying him

He brought her into the house and into the basement which is a medical area. There were two doctors trying to stitch up a mans wounds when they see forest. "Finish him up, we have another patient." One of the doctors says comming to investigate forests leg.

"I don't need it," Mike said.

"Yes you do... its only a little bit this time see" he says showing the plastic needle only a quarter full.
