Flamemon watched as Pawnchessmon approached - he ended up taking half a step back. He couldn't put his finger on why, but something about the way the black digimon moved bothered him. Then again, didn't really help that this digimon, not unlike the V-mon from earlier, seemed to have a forceful presence. Sure, this one wasn't so aggressive, but he could still feel it. Or maybe it was the fact Pawnchessmon hadn't even said a single word. Moving in silence was a bit creepy too, given that Flamemon couldn't even cross a room without raising some ruckus. The bow seemed a bit strange.... Flamemon hesitated before waving weakly, not sure if he should have mirrored him or not. Stopped, grinned as the agent greeted him, introduced Pawnchessmon. That explained the silence.
"Don't need to worry, I can talk enough for both of us."
"He can," Jill said. She'd long adjusted and while the silence was pleasant at times, it was stranger when he didn't talk. She then nodded as Corentin noted the thud. "I had not, but I can check if you like-"
"Nah, I got it!" Flamemon scurried to the door, opened it - the teenage girl wasn't surprising nor was the Leormon. Flamemon asked if they were agents, well of course, why else would they be here unless they had been arrested and were trying to make a mistake but of course that was wrong, right, he was wrong right? Jill wasn't sure if it'd be better or worse if they didn't understand English.
Soon after, another woman and a young man entered the room. Jill studied them both, even as the young man approached, a bit too overconfident. Compensating, perhaps? That, or a genuine belief in his own superiority. The corner of her mouth twitched, but she quickly covered it up.
"We are waiting for mission details so that we may proceed int the Digital World."
Valdi slammed his fist against the closed elevator doors once, taking a minute to calm down before the kid followed him and introduced himself. Michelgelo- no, Micange-He turned around, shook the kid's hand out of habit.
"English is my second language. Nevermind....well, not sure what language your name is. Mikael work?" He could remember that a bit better.
"An earthly guide shouldn't take shortcuts." He tightened his grip around V-mon's arm.
"Ok...your partner, right..." He pinched the bridge of his nose, thinking. Kid didn't seem so good with English. Come to think of it, they didn't even have proof he'd understood anything they said so far. ...goddammit. "V-mon, can you tell him his partner might be at the meeting?" He let go of V-mon and pressed the elevator button. V-mon nodded and looked at Michelangelo.
Valdi had a sneaking suspicion he shouldn't have relied on V-mon to play translator.
