The chest is a natural target (being large), but going through the softer areas run the risks of doing more harm to the host than is easily repaired.
The sternum (a.k.a. breastbone) is fairly tough and is attached to the ribs (who are also flexible), so most impacts there should prevent doing significant damage to the host. Would be rather embarrassing to assault a host like that and shoot straight through it, eh?
We've been RPing mostly in the advanced section in the past months, so posts tend to reflect that in size and such.
I think I'm gonna give Nakuma two swords. A katana and a Tachi. I'll call the katana "Mzee, the kinslayer", and the tachi "Akupara".

I don't have a theme for Nakuma, and I don't know much about fast paced Gagaku that may reflect her aggression, so I'm having a hard time finding something to listen to while I draw. Yeh.
Never thought of it that way, but it does make a twisted sort of sense... When we wrote that part, we used it as a means of Ranoch integrating itself into the host's nervous system.
I WOULD say I am done creating my IC post, but it's just a wall of text (Can't compare to Ellri, though - Kudos to you) and I can't seem to find the balance between "easy, readable, gaudy, and blinding." It may be due to me trying a new style... or that I am half-asleep. Either way, I'll probably post it tomorrow.

Sometimes I'm overly ambitious, like the time I tried to write in a Lovecraft-esque style. I read it over again and thought "Wow, I'm such a fucking silly goose."
We had it rather easy with the dual point-of-views... Switching regularly between the two, we could not write true text walls without making it impossible to keep track of.
We've often found that using extra line space every few sentences makes it easier to read.
