You can pick your own, but from a prescibed list. If what you want isn't on said list just ask and I'll genuinely consider adding it. At the moment the list is;
Human
Dwarf
Halfling
High Elves
Dark Elves
Forest Elves
Lizardmen
Centaur

Yes, that is a bit extreme. We'd be estranged relatives tolerating one another in world of hostiles. My idea is more traditional. My Dark Elf nation would be into Dark Magic (Necromancy) and conventional fighting forces -- a paganistic religious sect.

I will hold some interest.

For an idea I have for a nation (The Glorious Republic of Entente Principalities), imagine a fusion of Classical Roman Republicanism, Italian City States, The Holy Roman Empire, The Byzantine Empire, Wallachia/Transylvania and The Ottoman Empire.

Question: Can you have multiple races per nation/faction or is it limited to one race per nation?

Both discussed drow nations would work

You can have multiple races but you have to explain why it's a mixed society or not.
