Moby-Dick, Foundation, The Lost Era: The Sundered, A Stitch In Time. There are some other ones, but those are just some recent ones I've read (And re-read, with Moby-Dick)

Depends on genre, best crime I've read recently is probably the one I'm reading now Red Mist by Patrician Cornwell, Linwood Barclay's pretty good for thrillers at the moment. Most other genres I don't read much new stuff in so I'd end up giving you a reading list rather than reccomendations if I went into them.

Normally I read fantasy, rarely fiction, I enjoy books with historical references, even thriller. Although, I'm trying to get into different genres.

I've read Moby Dick. Got a quarter of the way through it and gave up. It was just too slow for me.

You obviously have no sense of literature.

Maybe so. I'm mainly into the modern stuff. The farthest back I went is Lord of the Rings.

Books? What the arse? What do you need a book for? What have they ever done for humanity? I mean, when was the last time you looked at a book and went 'Wow, look at the graphics in this!'? Yes, never. BURN THE BOOKS. Something, something, one-government world, freedom.
