Ciel watched in frustration as Grell killed one of the vampires, realizing he had not given the same order to the Shinigami. "You idiot, don't kill them!" he shouted, gesturing angrily to the recently-split man on the floor. "How are we going to cure them if you kill them all?" His shouting, as rage-filled as it might be, was fruitless in undoing the death; he couldn't help but shout though. In his momentary fury, the Phantomhive boy failed to take into account the vampire who had come up behind him. Spinning on his heel quickly, he tried to drive the knife in hand through the vampire's chest, cursing as his arm was caught easily. "Let go of me dammit!" Pulling at his arm, it was absolutely fruitless as the vampire clearly overpowered him. Looking up, his breath caught in his throat as he saw the man moving down to bite him. Closing his eyes and bracing for the pain, he was confused when it never did come to him.

Opening an eye and looking up, he blinked surprised seeing the head of the man missing, Grell at the side with the chainsaw still wet with blood. Ciel wrenched his arm from the dead man's grip, pushing away the lingering corpse with a frown. How silly that he was now thankful for the very act he had just chastised a moment ago. Not wanting to look a fool before the Shinigami though, the young boy simply turned back to the balcony as Sebastian came down with the princess, a very much welcome sight. "Good, you've got her back... I don't even want to know what has happened to Druitt, I do not care at this point." He'd had more than his fair share of vampires for now; even coming back later to cure them sounded rather repulsing at the moment. He'd swore to save the inflicted though, and he intended to. "Let us be off then, the sooner Daniela is safe the better."

Grell pouted as he was handed the princess, having no interest whatsoever in the young girl's well-being. If Sebastian asked him to do it though, the Shinigami supposed he could make an exception just this once. "Oh, very well Sebby, but it'll cost you." he teased, giving a small wink before hurrying to the balcony. With a graceful jump, the red reaper left the building and landed in an adjacent tree, peering back at the open window where the demon and human still were. "I know the way Sebastian, I shall meet you two there!" Clearly this girl was of some importance to them, so he might as well take her away as soon as possible. Turning back he began to race along the trees, hearing only a few vampires behind him giving pursuit. They wouldn't chase him forever; new changelings were reluctant to leave their sire's side. With a toothy grin, Grell made a face at them tauntingly, dropping to the forest floor and continuing to race along.

'Cost me?' wondered Sebastian silently to himself whilst his expression remained unchanged. He couldn't care less what the Shinigami meant by those words however, as the Phantomhives had everything. Whether it be money or a favour, it would never be of trouble to the young master. He supposed that if anything the Shinigami would want a priceless item or something the rather. Grell then went ahead and disappeared into the trees.

Sebastian took the chance to inspect both sides of Ciel's neck to make sure that the boy had not been bitten in the process. If that were to happen, then it would have to be reversed. For the slightest of moments, Sebastian did wonder how powerful Ciel would become if he was ever changed into a vampire. Probably not very powerful in the physical sense due to his tiny stature. But looking at the boy's soul, he would have a similar power to the Viscount's. The Viscount had the ability to create lust and enchant. In that case, then Ciel would have the power to command humans. What an interesting aspect to toy with.

There was a small sigh of relief when Sebastian could not find any bite marks. Ciel did now have a few additional scents with him. He would have to be cleaned up later on. Sebastian knelt down and straightened Ciel's shirt and bow tie before lightly brushing the boy's hair away from his face. "I am relieved that you are safe young master" said Sebastian before he glanced back and noticed a vampire sneaking up on them. It was sent far away with a powerful kick from the demon. Taking Ciel into his arms, the demon made off in Grell's direction. It would probably have been better if the Shinigami and the demon took different paths so as to reduce the number of vampires chasing them, but Sebastian didn't exactly trust Grell to keep the Princess entirely safe. The vampires backed off when they approached the town.

A while later, the Princess was soundly asleep in her bedroom and all of the formal matters had been taken care of. Sebastian and Ciel were escorted back to the entrance of the palace where Grell was waiting. For some reason, Sebastian felt a bit uneasy about the expression on Grell's face. What was the Shinigami thinking about?
