Hello there. If you're reading this thread, I guess that means you care about your forum's (possibly fellow) new members. Either that, or you're considerably bored and just needed something, anything, to pass a few more gruelling seconds. At any rate, you're here and reading this, and that's all that matters.

Well, moving on from my sad and very awkward attempt at charisma right off the bat, I'm sorry for the annoyingly cryptic hipster lyrics for a thread title (and an introduction thread title at that!); I just thought it fit my current mood as I attempt to integrate into this strange new world. You see, I've been having a bad time as a roleplayer lately. I haven't been able to find any active roleplay forums that suit my interests and purposes as a writer. I had happened upon the Roleplayer Guild some years ago, but I never paid it any mind because I was, simply put, a young weaboo who only wished to roleplay as a Genki Girl shinigami without a care in the world and zero will to become anything more than that.

However, things are different now.

Well, to keep things at least somewhat short and on topic, I am here to roleplay, as I would assume we all are; all I want to do is write, in a serious manner. I'm interested in attention to detail and character development to a degree, and having fun is a must. I hope this forum will be a place I can finally call a home again, after so long wandering these cold, barren interwebs so aimlessly. =_=

Well, you may have found the right place! There's a good chance there's something ready-made to your interest in one of the forum subsections, and if not, making a game almost always generates interest! You'll probably have the best time in the casual section from your descriptions, or even take a plunge into advanced, depending on your interests and how detailed you want to get. In any case, if you have concerns or interests in something, let people know! Most people here are very friendly and will be very welcoming.
