Her reactions were fast to his dodge, but even she couldn't get out of the way completely. As he spun around yet again, apparently his favorite move, she flapped her wings with as much force as she could muster so that she rapidly ascended straight upwards and pushed wind back down onto the twirling man below her. As fast as her liftoff was, his spin was also a quick maneuver so his heel still managed to hit her in the lumbar area, only in her case that was where the base of her tail extended out from. It was thickest at the base, as common sense dictates, but that by no way meant that the extra padding made things painless. Sure it cushioned her spine itself, but there was a lot of nerve endings around that area that didn't like such a sudden compression of her tail into her backside. She let out a yelp on impact and instinctively flicked her tail and curled her legs further away from the man and closer up towards her body, which was a good thing too because the sword narrowly missed her left foot as she brought it just above his arch. The man skipped to the side, so she flapped her wings to match his adjustment and then allowed herself to drop with all her weight onto her left foot as she came back down to earth and tried to stomp the top of his head. She knew to be incredibly careful of the blade, but he had just finished up that latest swing so she doubted that he could bring it around for another pass at her in time for her counterattack. If she saw him getting it prepared then she'd have no choice but to try and flap away again to wait for another chance at attack. At the very least a game of cat and mouse would buy some time for the other girl to join in as well after she finished...whatever it was that she was doing. Evvie was baffled, but didn't have any time to get a good look at what she was up to.

The Half-Dragon was clever; escaping into the air rather than flying along the ground where he could pursue her.
He looked up, and saw a foot coming down to meet his face, the third headstrike in such a short time? Rather than try to thrust or slash again, TenHass brought Mlorta above his head, resting it on his right forearm blade-up. It was far from perfect, but it covered his head nicely and would do for now.
Inwardly, he readied Mlorta's deep crystal core; touching that nascent power stored within, and guided it in the absence of Mlorta's own will; readying the blade for a hard impact. The charge would take some time, but it would still serve well when ready.
He also urged blood into his legs, cleaning his flesh of weakness and allowing his muscle and sinew more power; if the half-dragon would be fighting in the air, he would join her.

The man was quick in literally brining up his defenses. Although Evvie's skin was tougher then what even shoes could block, had she worn any, she didn't exactly like the idea of stomping down on a pointy surface very much regardless. That meant that she'd have to try and come in at an angle now, an attack weaker then if she attacked him with all her weight, but it couldn't be helped now. She flapped her wings to guide herself backwards so that she was now flying just in front of him, facing him, rather then right no top of his head. As she came down she'd try to kick him in the upper chest with both feet and then push off of his body and flap away out of his range if he wasn't knocked down by her force or if he was able to otherwise defend himself in some way. If he was knocked down then she'd flap forward rather then back, on the offensive to try and grab onto his wrist on his sword arm with her left hand while punching at his face and body repeatedly with her right.

His sword did its job, the Half-Dragon didn't descend on him. But she did change vector quickly, and bring both of her feet into his sternum, compressing his ribs and pushing the air out of his lungs, even through the barrier. He was actually launched back a bit and lost his balance for a moment, and the Half-Dragon took the chance to go on the attack, reaching out and latching on with her deceptively strong hands to his left arm. She pulled back her free hand and began to punch, slamming another of those hands into his chest. But...
The mark of blood stirred. His blood called to hers, singing out with that secret voice; it confused hers, sending it into fits and frenzy. He channeled that power and used it to force her very blood to agitate and heat up to boiling for a single moment, that one moment being all he could muster without a sample in his system and being struck. He would have to come into contact with her again when he was less disadvantaged.
He uses the distraction to will Mlorta to his right hand, calling the Deep crystal core to it. And with that he twists his left hand clockwise to release the Half-Dragon's grip and use that power stored in his legs to leap with unnatural speed. This was meant to send him into the air when needed, but by changing the angle, he put his knee into direct intercept course with her throat.

Evvie's entire body felt incredibly weird for a brief moment; a sensation that she had never experienced before and did not have the words to describe. Perhaps it was like when she drank a frothy drink, only this time she spilt it into the insides of her veins rather then just all over her face. She let out a startled yelp and paused what she was doing, her mind racing on what could possibly be happening to her. Her first instinct was to fly away for the time being, but her opponent didn't allow her that luxury. With unexpected speed he shot out at her like an arrow, ramming his knee into her throat. She clutched at her throat as she was sent tumbling backwards head over heels into the grassy field below. Still wheezing in a labored manner and leaving her right hand to massage her bruised neck, she slowly pushed herself back onto her shaking legs. That latest exchange was most unpleasant for her, leaving her with two conflicting emotions. The first was fear, a feeling that she wasn't all to eager to just rush in and possibly have that happen to her again. The other was anger, begging her to just rush forward and clobber him back in revenge. For now she just stood there recovering from the blow, wondering which emotion to follow through with.

(Sorry to resort to such measures, but he's getting antsy and doesn't like the way things are going, also sorry he didn't fall as far as you expected; but he's, like, FMA-Envy-heavy.)
His head swam. His chest was aching. His gambit paid off, the half-dragon leaped back and now he had a moment to collect himself. He put Mlorta in both hands, holding it again in the close-drawn fashion he did before. The Deep crystal was charged, and he let its stored power ooze out; pale golden wisps of flame emerged from it, fading to red when they came into contact with his arm and snaking away in a corona of dim light. An unseen force countered the wind around him, pushing the grass around his feet outward.
Energised thus, he focused on Evvie; he broke into a short run, then leaped again toward her. The jump would be too easy to plot, and TenHass was hoping for that; as she would ready herself, he would shunt all of his being about 10 feet closer.

Evvie saw the man's wisps of flames, but in her opinion she could do far better then that...unless he was up to something else. The flames vanished and he rushed forward quickly. Even though he was jumping, she'd still go for the high ground by flapping upwards above where the arc of his leap would take him. While higher she was hoping to kick him while he was still in midair and cause him to tumble back down to the ground.

Evvie rushed up to meet TenHass, coasting just over his own head, and delivered a kick that sent him hurtling down. It wasn't that it hurt so much, though hurt it did, it was that it disoriented him for a moment and he failed to actually take that planned non-Euclid step. He scrambled to thrust his will downward, cushioning his landing and even stopping his descent a few inches above the ground for a moment. Mlorta was still charged, and he intended to use that charge.
He squinted his eyes at Evvie still floating in the air, she was strong for her age, as befitting her Draconic heritage; he focused on her, sensing that spark of her soul, and extended his free hand. He pushed the galvanic force outward into his fingertips, and strained his every being into an effort to take it away from the body attached to that spark; the effort was to thin the air between the two. He clenched his eyes shut with the strain and let the void be filled.
Galvanic electric energy shot between the two of them, and TenHass shut the link between them when that force had reached her, hoping to leave it running through all of Evvie's body and consuming her as it had nowhere to go. TenHass tilts his head slightly to the left and smiles as he does this. He throws himself up to meet her again, fully intending to follow through this time.

Evvie was defenseless toward the attack, screaming out in pain as the electricity went surging through her body. Temporarily without control over her nervous system, her wings collapsed and she began to plummet to the ground, only to be intercepted first by her opponents next attack of rushing towards her. At this point she was falling upside down and the electricity was wearing off. She moved her arms out to try and defend her face and torso, but she doubted that she'd have full control over her body at this point.

The Deep Crystal in Mlorta keened as the tip pierced Evvie's sternum and it slid in, effortlessly, through her chest the charge forcing the deep crystel to urge all that the blade touches to move aside. The charge leaving him blasted his head with a sudden intense pain, but he had to keep going.
TenHass knew this would hurt, he KNEW this would cause harm. She may even die. Good. All of this was needed, he tried talking to the other one, who now sat watching this impassively on a cloud, and no luck. Perhaps this one, who spoke with strength, could be made to listen.
As she fell, he caught onto her and put his left hand, his marked hand, onto the now bleeding chest, and let just a few drops seep into the mark. His head was positively screaming at him now, and it was difficult to concentrate. The galvanic force rippled through him as well now, and the pain was being shared. But now he had a sample of half-dragon blood, and an opportunity.

While Evvie was still spasming, TenHass attempted to bind her hands with his and keep her under him for those few moments of falling so he'd land on top. Regardless, he would throw her using the mark of blood and one last push of the arts; he NEEDED dominance here. At any rate, the bleeding chest and possible punctured organs would come in handy. Once there, he knelt over her, impassively looking into her eyes; full of fury and fear and the clash between.
"Calm yourself. You will not die this day." And he puts his marked hand on the wound, letting all spilled blood seep into her again; he focused on the horrible wound, sensing her body's parts and forcing them to come together, he let the power of blood run free in her, putting a fraction of his own into the mix to maintain the bond as he took his hand away and stood. The wound healed before their eyes, leaving not even a scar.
"So. Why are YOU here?" TenHass asks, picking Mlorta up again and holding it over Evvie's throat, hiding the fact that he was finding it hard to breathe.
