-Race Description-
The majority of Mazidia is populated by humans, however mostly seen as high ranking members of the Conclaves a different species who call themselves the Dalakoi are also present. Humanoid in form they seem to take some attributes of marine animals, most prominently crabs. Striking to look at bare many cover themselves in golden armour and purple cloth, hiding their true appearance behind masks of wealth and power. Dalakoi differ as much as humans do, some are incredibly intelligent, becoming tacticians of engineers whilst others have the affinity for magic. However a private sect has appeared throughout Mazidia known as the 'Tzedakah', a network of spy's and assassins that works for the Mazidian government.

Mazidia's buildings are made of stone and wood. With a small nation and a high population they have taken to constructing tall towers and homes for anyone unwilling to venture out into the Khobalt sea just off the coastline. Their architecture is beautiful and artful, particularly on the island of Mobius due east of the mainland.

The Mazidian army is very organised and professional, however it is quite small in numbers compared to what most nations can call upon. In peace-time the Mazidian army usual constitutes about 10% of the overall nation population (Roughly 60,000) however in war time drafting is always a focus and the ranks can swell to as much as 25% depending on the threat facing the nation.
The Mazidian military force is often split into separate armies allowing a more flexible nature to their operations. Each army normally consists of 10,000 men with multiple divisions and sect within to deal with certain jobs ect.

The regulars of the Mazidian military are well drilled, professional soldiers. They can come with a plethora of arms such as spears, axes, bows and the infamous Mazidian weapon the 'Tattar' a vicious curved blade that has been known to carve limbs like butter.

Being a nation so open to the sea Mazidia has given particular focus to its Navy. Normally consisting of about 1,000 Warships at anyone time it is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Magic is quite a common practice throughout Mazidia, the rich culture has always been fascinated with the mysteries the world has to offer and the possibilities that magic unlocks have been to much a taunt to ignore.
Whilst the majority of Mazidian people are just minor conjurer's that cannot hold their own a cult of Priests that hold the national faith of Mazidia are practiced and dangerous sorcerers capable of unimaginable feats when provoked.
