Daiyu leaned against the backdrop of the bus station. She knew she was early for her ride, but it beat wondering aimlessly. She wasn't deaf, she could hear the commotion that was occurring mere streets away, but it wasn't her problem. Call her heartless, call her cold-blooded, but why should she risk her life for people who would rather cast her into the streets? Sighing, she pushed off of the backdrop and hopped onto the bench, the squeak of metal beneath her warning of an imminent break. Left... Right... Left... Left... Right... Crouching on the seat, the woman impatiently waited for the bus, watching people walk by was only interesting for so long. She hoped the transportation would arrive quickly, perhaps it would bring her to a better place than here.
