It's an interesting layout, but seems quite minimal from having only seen it a few times, never actually having had something that uses it.

To be fair, the version of Windows probably won't have a lot to do with its ability to play games. To install them, I suppose, which is equally important.
Speaking of PC games, I've been oddly intrigued by the new Sim City game coming out in March. I haven't a lot of experience with the Sim City games, but it's looking very good. I'm such a hardcore PC gamer, aren't I?

I'm not getting any new computers till Windows 9 comes out.
I hear every other OS they make is terrible, and Windows 8 sounds absolutely dreadful, so, yeah. Hopefully Microsoft will live up to their every-other-OS-sucks tradition and they'll have something I can safely upgrade to by the time Windows 7 starts becoming unsupported.
My Thoughts on Windows 8, specifically Start and the inability to have Skype and the Desktop up at the same time:
"ARRRGH! WHY THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT SO CONFUSINGLY ANNOYING?!?!?"
Other than that, it seems alright.
