‘Welcome back to the 7 o’clock, right now the top story. At what police are saying was an underground party for young people at an abandoned warehouse on Pier 6 off Brooklyn. Was a release of hazardous gases. The Harmony Corporation who owned the packages containing said gas, said in a press release that the gases maybe dangerous but are currently in the process of rounding up those who have been exposed to it to help detoxify them.’

It all sounded nice and convenient, but there was only one problem. Whatever was in that gas that consumed the warehouse, wasn’t just some maybe hazardous stuff. It caused changes in people. Causing people to gain powers if they were lucky, turn into freaks if they weren’t. The corporation is trying to round them all up sure. But more for experimentation and willing participants to help round up the others with promises of money and safety. Some of the people who were in that warehouse have since decided to band together, protecting the city from the corporations and those turned twisted and evil by what had happened. As time passes their powers will grow, maybe someday beyond control. But for right now, it’s all about stepping up, and being a hero.

(This RP concept was based on a TV show, I say that because me and Shoryu have a bit of a prop bet going on if people will figure out what it is or not.)

Abilities: Starts off with elastic abilities, able to stretch up to 250 feet. With time not only would this number easily increase, but he’ll also be able to use his powers to alter his appearance complete with changing colors to blend in or change hair color and such.

Background: The son of a diner that his family has owned for three generations. Jason was practically born with a spatula in his hand. With aspirations to one day take over the diner and keep it going strong. Jason has learned to cook at a surprising pace, eventually spending weekends helping as a short order cook. During school Jason also became a star player for soccer teams, which turned him into a bit of a jock character. His not really a bad guy, never really bothers to pick on anyone. That hasn’t stopped him however from trying to use his fame as a means to get with girls.

Abilities: Mental Computer: His abilities, unknown to him in the beginning, allows him to use the subconscious connect between every human being on the planet and to use it as a giant super computer. This gets more advanced as time goes on. Allowing him to eventually enter the Collective, enter peoples minds and the like. His powers start off allowing him to open a 'holographic' computer screen infront of him, or on any surface he so desires. This can only be seen by Iiaa and those he chooses. It acts just like a computer, he can use it to send 'messages' and to 'speak' with people who are not near him. This is external use. To those who cannot see he looks schizophrenic or some other mental issues due to his twitching and playing with things in the air that 'aren't there'.
Appearance: Often seen wearing a white t-shirt under a black-hooded vest. Tanger style pants and calf length, fitted leather boots. As a hero he wears cloth shoes, flowing black-cloth pants. A black long sleeved shirt under a dark red-hooded vest. A white ceramic Medusa masque covers his face.
Background: A loner type. Calm, cool, and collected. Iiaa always thinks things through before committing, trying to find every possible angle. He grew up on his own, his parents always busy with work. At ten his parents divorced. His father now lives in an apartment uptown, while his mother lives in a small suburban house. He lives with neither. Ever since the divorce he worked as much money out of them as he could, guilting them every opportunity he had. He would also build small gadgets and toys and sell them to other kids. As he grew older, so did his confidence of what he could build. With the money he made he was able to rent a nice studio apartment, midtown, in which he now lives. As a living he builds things from computers, to cars, to art. Selling them to who will buy. This leaves him with enough money to live cautiously by. (No he is not super rich. I would say mid-middle class at most.)

Real name: Deyna Fey

Goes by: Clarity (Representing her usual state of mind)

Age: 17

Abilities: In yoga people learn of chakra, a force that allows a being with full control over their psyche to bolster the strength in their limbs and clear their minds. Deyna has been in training long enough to feel the effects of chakra in her movements, but that amount of power was nothing in comparison to the boost in chakra manipulation she got after the accident. Chakra permeates her body and invigorates her, but now she is capable of focusing this energy in certain focal points. Her punches and kicks can out power highly trained martial artists, while her reflexes gained a nice boost as well. Deyna's change also caused her to become more sensitive to other's chakra, effectively giving her a sixth sense.

However, while she now has access to so much raw power, the same basic rules of Yoga apply; if she cannot remain focused and allows negative emotions to affect her psyche, her ability to control her chakra is greatly reduced. Over time, she will learn more about controlling her chakra and slowly become capable of greater feats of strength. Her ability to sense chakra will become more precise, and she may even learn to release her chakra in blasts. (Think haudoken, but it would put a lot of strain on Deyna in order to produce them, as they use her life energy in order to create them. One and she's panting, two and she becomes tired and sluggish. A 3rd blast is fatal. Sleeping replenishes her energy.)

Appearance: Deyna has a lean, tall build. However, her muscles are pretty well defined from years of yoga, especially her legs. She has dark hair which she often ties back in a ponytail, with similarly dark eyes. Deyna always chose comfort over fashion, so she wears loose fitting clothing that allow her to move around more easily.

Even as a superhero she chose function over style. She still wears pretty basic clothing, but she wears bandages around her arms/hands and on her ankles for protection. She wears very light running shoes; however, the toes are reinforced to protect her from her own kicks. She still wears loose fitting pants and shirts, with sleeves that are lightly bound to her elbows to prevent them from interfering. Whenever Deyna is channelling chakra, her left eye lightly glows green to represent her chakra.

Background: Deyna's immediate family has always been incredibly into sports; her mother is a gymnastics teacher, while her father is a heavy weight lifter. Both of her parents led exciting lives, and they often went out on rock climbing trips among other things. Deyna was always a very calm child who wasn't very excitable. Most times she was focused on becoming an artist rather then becoming an athlete. However, at a young age she was pressured to take a course in fitness, so on a whim she chose yoga. She was somewhat begrudging of it at first, but soon really began to enjoy the challenge. Yoga fit perfectly with her more calm nature, so she stayed with it and excelled. However, she never forgot her dream to become an artist; she practices whenever she is in solitude, preferring to work in silence.

Goes by: The Russian [He... doesn't feel the need for something fancy XD he may it later though when something more fitting to his powers comes to mind =P]

Known skills: Improvised/adaptational Fighting, Bruce Lee Style Martial Arts [Meaning no specific single style, and only leisurely practiced XD], Meditation, Sculpturing, Construction/Demolition, Sharp-shooting [It's a personal thing, he doesn't tell anyone why he was trained XD]

Abilities: It's not known to him yet, but he 'is' radioactive, not dangerously, but he'd show up to a geiger counter.

Stage 1: Physical Improvement: His body has been made Several times Stronger and more durable, To a point he can stop a speeding car and throw it With a bit of strain, as well as Take that Hit with little Physical damage to himself. He is a bit slowed down due to his weight, and has trouble moving on fragile surfaces, Though it'd take a real beast to hurt him with an impact weapon like a bat or a pipe.


Stage 2: Radioactive Progression: His eyes and 'insides' tend to give off a noticeable glow permanently, and his body puts off a considerable aura of heat, though not enough to be detrimental to someone nearby, maybe annoying, It's enough to make it difficult to freeze him or anything. He also becomes several times Stronger and more durable than Stage 1. As well, He registers higher on Geiger counters, though still not especially deadly to be near, he could cause some annoying headaches now and then.

Stage 3: Living Reactor: The Progression of His radioactive nature will reach potentially deadly levels now, his 'body' will have been revealed to be a Radioactive core, which to avoid frying everyone around him secretes a specific amount of Containing fluids that are almost perfectly resistant to Radiation leakage as long as it's not spread far enough. This goo is used to create his 'visible' body, for mobility, fighting, defense, and so on, and with enough practice can be altered to make him look human again, though he puts off more heat. It also becomes revealed that his body was always 'this', but prior to developing enough radioactive output to be a danger, the 'fluid' was in a permanent state of solidity that made up his body, and can be made to retake this state through manipulation of his body. His breath also becomes a dangerous source of radioactive Dust.

Stage 4: ???: At this stage he begins to absorb Radiation of all sources, light, microwaves, nuclear, solar, heat, and so on, It makes his core grow in strength, causing it to put out more energy, and requiring more fluid for his body to properly contain it's energy, ultimately forcing him to grow in size and fluid volume to avoid the growing core being uncovered and destroying everything around him. He is capable of discharging vast amounts of energy to reduce it's size when necessary, but he must do so in some place far from civilization lest he end up causing fallout that could spread to other places. If he can get into 'space' then he can discharge far more safely, though he'd also has nothing between himself and the direct solar energy flowing through space. He can however compact himself down to a smaller size, though doing so does not reduce the weight of that core or the fluid needed to contain.

Background: Mikhael was an exchange student, though he has been in America for several years now, He still has an accent, and still favors his old Russian made cloths over those of 'fancy american duds', but has otherwise adapted well to american life, of course nobody wants to fuck with him in school because of his size, nor any of his friends after he picked that one bully up and held him against the ceiling. One of his known Friends is Jason Newman [if anyone else wants to already know him closely, feel free XD I'm not picky =3], Who he's seen hanging out with fairly occasionally. He is also known to give 'the stare of death' to various known bullies when they look like their about to get out of line, he detests people who pick on the weak or consider themselves superior for some insignificant reason like playing sports or because their a little bigger, or dumber in some cases.
