[High Casual] to [Advanced] Ready for New Adventures

Hello. Here I am, once more sitting in front of my computer and puzzling over what to do, for I have replied to every roleplay I'm in. So, what better way to fill the time than hunt for a new story?

Usually I post my own story ideas, but it seems that either people have no interest, or the people who are interested just fall through. So it goes. So this time, you get to tell me what you want to do.

A few things about me to see if we will be a good fit:

When it comes to one on ones, perhaps one of the most important things is I cannot do romance well. I have had no practice, never seem to know what to say, and an innocently uncomfortable whenever things get serious. If you have the patience to teach me a bit, I'd be open to trying, just understand I will be somewhat pathetic at first, and my first instinct is to avoid it. Thus, unless you specifically request it, I will not help create a plot where it is practical.

I love creating stories, plot twists, interactions and problems, and I'd love my partner to do the same. Stories always work better when both people have invested time to create the world.

I am happy with playing either male or female characters, having one primary character and some smaller NPC's, or playing many characters. Whichever works best with you. That is one area that I am not particular about in the least.

I am quite active, and would enjoy a partner who is well. If we are both on at the same time, I am happy to sit for a couple hours straight while we tell out the story. Despite that, I'd also like to think I am a patient partner. If stuff comes up, or the muse of writing decides to take a vacation, I would rather wait for several days to get a good post than have us just try to muddle our way through. I am also a student, so when school starts again my time will probably decrease, but if there is a story to reply to I will do my best to get to it as quickly as possible.

If the story gives even the slightest potential for it, I will tend towards three or more paragraphs in one post. It may get less as dialogue dictates, but I will never do one liners. Never. There is simply no reason for it, because something is always happening. Posting less than four sentences in a post is one of the best ways to loose my interest.

I would like a long term roleplay. Stories never really end, it is only a matter of where to take them next. Any story that has a reasonable amount of plot twists and intricacies will turn into a "long term" roleplay.

I enjoy stories that involve the psychological. Situations in what is moral, what is allowed, what is evil, when it is alright to steal, murder. What makes someone go insane, what should make someone go crazy but doesn't, how power can drive a person mad. I'm sure you get the idea. None of the stories I have so far really focus on this, so it most certainly isn't a must, but I tend towards focusing on the mental rather than the physical, even in action/adventure stories.

I don't really believe in fandoms. I'm perfectly happy to take many many elements from one world, but to create a variable story I usually find it best to create a unique world where we can define the rules. Inspiration from books, most certainly. Completely copying the universe, not so much.

When it comes to one on ones I kind of enjoy a little bit of powermoding, so long as it is a physical powermodding. The more powerful the character, the more twisted the mentally. It can be kind of fun. Nowhere near a must, but kind of fun.

My preference is to mix small elements of fantasy into a realistic setting. Have one person/ a small group of people who are unique in some respect and have to cope with living in a society where no one else has such a difference. Immortality is a big one, and, again, would wind up focusing on the psychological.

Despite what I have just said, I am an incredibly open person when it comes to what the plot should involve. I'll modify it to fit me, and I'll let you know if I have absolutely no interest, but I rarely reject things completely. I love trying things out, seeing what I enjoy, finding places where I can build my own writing ability. So, if you have any idea, or what I have said resonates with you, PM me, reply here, or find some other way to get a hold of me, and we can work something out.

I strongly believe that there are plenty of people out there who want to come up with such stories, and I simply have yet to find them. My bites aren't infectious, I swear, and I just want to find some stories and people to create them with. I hope to hear from you soon.
Well I'm a sucker for fine Cuban cigars, The problem is I can't afford 'em, But last year I went and got myself a whole box, And just to be safe I insured 'em

I took out a policy against fire and theft, And then I hurried home, With a fifty-cent lighter I sat on my back steps, And I smoked 'em one by one

Two weeks later I went to see that insurance man, And I handed in my claim, With a straight face I told him that through a series of small fires, They'd all gone up in flames

They reviewed my case and they had no choice, But to pay me for what I'd done, And I took that check and bought a whole new box, And I smoked 'em one by one

Two weeks later this detective shows up, Tells me that company's pressin' charges, One speedy trial later they locked me up, On twenty-four separate counts of arson

And now I sit and I stare at a blank brick wall, Lookin' back on what I've done, To pass the time I've got some ten-cent cigars, And I smoke 'em one by one

I have seen your different advertisements a few times and always had such great response. By the time I find them they are nearly two pages long. I can see you have a great deal to offer someone who is willing to put in some time with world and culture building. I find most everyone wants romance and finding that perfect someone if only in their writing.

I don't have a lot of experience in the psychological, I do have a couple character who deals with the immortality. They can be killed, but with a bit of magic and a gift of dragons blood in a crystal, they have the power to restore that life. Their memories persist death. I am thinking that can really mess with someone's brain. How exactly is what I am trying to figure out. It is hard to do something like that alone, there just seems to be a lot of brooding and depressing scenes in my book. So very sad. Every attempt I have in trying to get someone interested in this plot line has come up short. I keep tweaking it in hopes I will finally get it right.

Oh, listen to me ramble on. I was only going to put a 'good luck and hope your thread gets some attention' thing. I should just erase all of this and not gum up the works. Nah, I feel like being a little evil today.

Oh, yea, my problem is I don't do fandoms either. I don't know that much about them. I know elements about their story or world but not enough to write fully emerged in the world.

I would be pleased to work on such a story with you, if that is what you desire. It sounds like it has a lot of potential, and could be a lot of fun.

If you only wanted to wish me good luck, thank you for the wish. If you ever find yourself in need of a roleplay partner please feel free to PM me.

I believe it does, I guess that is why I keep hoping that someone will work on it with me. I really want to start opening it up. If you want to do that I am very shocked and way too happy to have you do that with me.

Why don't you PM me, you can give me a better overview of what it is about, and we can get started?

Oh! I wouldn't mind a RP like this. I do have a story in mind, and while it is very basic and simple, and I would be MORE than happy to have it evolve into a much deeper story

Would you be interested in looking it over said story?
