"We gotta get out of here, or they will get both of us." said Jake as he tried to stand up,not caring if he was naked or not.
" I have a stash of clothing that I have hidden,not far from here." he said as he put his good arm around her shoulder.

Serenity nodded. She started to walk with him. She said softly "are you sure you're okay?"

[Chazz]

Jake winced at the bullet wound, "It went straight through, but the silver burns."
"Makes me wonder if they missed on purpose, maybe to mark me and then find me while in human form." he said.
He pointed to an old well, "There, over there is where my clothes are."

[Savi]

Serenity walked him over to the well. She said "why do you think that? Why would anyone want to hurt you?"

[Chazz]

"The same reason that they would want you dead; because of who we are." replied Jake, as he grabbed the rope.
He pulled his clothes up from the well, dressing as quickly as he could; so they could leave.
"Is your place close by?" he asked.

[Savi]

"Yeah. I'm warning you, though, I live with a bunch of guys. Who, by the way, are real jerks."

[Chazz]

"As long as they don't bother me; I won't mess with them." said Jake.
"Come on, we gotta move faster; I can hear the hunters coming." he said as he took Serenity by the hand.

[Savi]

Serenity followed close behind. She pointed out the directions to the house. She said "It's the biggest one at the end of the street."

[Chazz]

"Are these guys;like you and me..different?" asked Jake.
"Or are we talking about older brothers who are gonna wonder why some strange guy is coming back to your house in the wee hours of morning?"
Jake stopped across the street from her house, "Maybe we should sneak in ?"
