Grandma Alice always use to tell us stories about how she followed a white rabbit down a rabbit's hole that took her to a different world called Wonderland.
In that world she said there were many people that were all very odd, but she loved them and they all loved her. She said that world was hectic, but there was something there that always made her stay.
One day, we asked her a question.
"Grandma. Why did you leave Wonderland?"
All she did was smile and she told us that there was a choice she had to make, and she decided to come back home. So that one day, she could tell her adventurers to her own children and than to their children.

For the longest we believed in that magical Land of Hearts. But we were young, and as we grew, reality sunk in and that world was forgotten.

Until one day we too fell down that rabbit's hole.

Bio
Johanna is the oldest cousin. She has a motherly attitude and is very caring for her young age. She enjoys reading books and is the main one that takes care of her grandmother Alice. At times though she does zone off and daydream about the books she had read, or about adventure and romance. She is a hopeless romantic at times. But because she is the oldest, she takes it upon herself to make sure everyone is safe and is in check. She is a patient person to a point, and because she cares about people so much, if a person is hurting themselves, or is doing something wrong, she would snap and get on their case giving them a speech only a mother would give.

Johanna was outside by a tree in the garden. She was reading a fantastic book about love, adventure and a stunning prince. You could say that Jo was so into it that she lost track of time, when her stomach growled she realized it was already close to noon and she had forgotten to make lunch. "Oh dear." she said and picked her book up, brushing off her dress that was filled with the blossoms of the tree. "I can't believe I lost track of time." she repeated and quickly ran inside. "Reisling? Rei?Where are you I need your help in the kitchen." she said, yelling through out the house and opening the door to the kitchen. The house their grandmother lived in was the exact same one she grew up in with her sister. Though she remodeled it a year after her sister's death.
Jo grabbed some fresh vegetables and began to chop them up on the cutting board after the water was set to boil.
"Something quick so grandmother would not miss a meal." The poor old woman was sick and was feeling weak lately so she needed something to eat, at least 7 small meals a day to keep her healthy and well fed.
"Where is that girl?" Johanna murmured as she placed the small chopped vegetables into the flavored water.

"I'm coming Jo. Calm down." Reisling said walking into the kitchen rubbing her eyes sleepily. She'd fallen asleep in the rose garden, random flower petals and twigs were caught in her hair. "What do you need me to do?" She asked wanting to help her cousin. She yawned, still half asleep from her nap in the garden. She walked over to her cousin waiting for her to tell her what to do.

When Johanna turned to look at her cousin she held back her nagging speech and smiled. "Oh look at you Rei." She shook her head. "You are a mess." Johanna began to take out the twigs from her cousin's lovely blond hair. "You sure know how to get stuff stuck in there." a little chuckle escaped her lips as she pulled the last couple of twigs and petals from her hair. Johanna always kept her hair up, mainly because of her hair was very curly and if anything got stuck...well it would take a long time to take it out. "I needed your help with make grandmother her food. Time seemed to have slipped past me when I was reading." She shook her head reminding herself at how careless she was for getting lost in a book. "But I already have everything under control. Oh wait, that reminds me." Quickly the took some chopped up pieces of lettuce and handed it to her cousin in a bowl. "Feed this to the bird. I haven't left to town for the seeds so this will have to do for now."
Recently her and her cousin found a small bird that got hurt and was about to be attacked by the house's cat, Dinah, until Jo and Rei intervened. that was a week ago and they were still tending to the bird, though by now it should be better, Jo enjoyed the bird's company and it's song.

"That reminds me, i saw rabit in the garden earlier." Rei said with a smile, she was daydreaming and not particularly paying attention to her cousin. "It looked as though he was wearing a pocket watch. It was like something out of grandmas stories." She said curiosity sparkling in her ocean blue eyes. "I was thinking after lunch we could go look for it." She said trying to convince her cousin to have some fun.

(Sorry for not responding for a bit. i've been sick)

"I don't know. You know how grandmother doesn't like us going so far out in the back. She says it's dangerous and there are many holes." She stirred the soup and looked to her cousin. "Maybe it was just your imagination Rei. I mean, come on, a rabbit with a pocket watch?" She chuckled and got a bowl out and ready for when the soup would be done. She turned to her cousin and leaned against the counter. "Besides don't you have chores to do little missy?Maybe if you finish them we could go rabbit hunting, or whatever it is you want to do." Jo will agree with her silly cousin's games this once, only so Rei would clean up. "Now go on and clean your room and feed that bird of yours. Oh and don't forget you must sweep the floor in the foyer. For some odd reason I saw dirt in there."

((Don't worry I'm sick too. I have bronchitis. We'll be sick together hahah xD))

Rei sighed but ran off to do her cousin told her. It hadn't been her imagination, she knew what she saw and she knew her cousin was just playing along. She'd seen odd things even since she was little that her family had simply blown off as an over active imagination, this time she'd prove she was right for sure.

"Jo! I'm done!" Rei said running into the kitchen once her chores were done, she was covered in dust, her tights were ripped, her dress had a few holes and her hair was an unruly mess again but she'd managed to get everything done. Rei was simply bubbling with excitement as she watched her cousin. "Can we go look for the rabbit now? Please?" Rei practically begged.

Jo had finished the soup and poured it into the bowl. It took time and patience to make the food her grandmother wanted. Placing the bowl with a cup of tea on a tray she was about to leave out the kitchen when Rei came running in,a ball full of excitement and mess. "What did you do Reisling? Get into a fight with the cat and the dirt? You're a messmy dear." The older cousin sighed trying to hold back the motherly speech about how it was improper forayoung lady to be so messy. But she said nothing except, "I'll be right back, let me give this to Grandmother Alice, but first wipe off that dirt and change your tights. I'll have to sew them back together later." Johanna left the kitchen, grumbling.
Entering into Grandmother Alice's room she smiled. "Your lunch grandmother. Sorry it took so long." The oldest said.
"Set it down on the table my dear." The older woman said looking out the window that looked out to the garden.
"Are you okay grandmother?" Jo asked.
"Yes, I am fine. Just thinking..." a silence fell over the room. "Are you going outside today? It is quite beautiful."
"Actually I was out a moment ago."
"Oh, well you may continue to relax." The older woman said, not facing Josephine.
The brunette nodded. "If you need anything just call for me or Rei. We will be outside."
"Yes...but Jo remember, don't go so far out into the garden."
"Of course grandmother." Josephine walked out the room and closed the door silently behind her. How odd...
Taking off the apron she had around her skirt she placed it on the counter in the kitchen and went out the back door, waiting for her cousin to get done getting dress.
