Where are you finding this? I can't find Poetry anywhere on the discontinued Olympic Sports list.
A link would be very helpful here

    Have fun.

Specifically with that town planning bit.

It was removed because those who applied to the art sections of the Olympics were professionals, but the rest of the Olympic events were performed by amateurs. Thus, it was removed from the official Olympic games. Nothing to do with the content of the events themselves.

Bring on the Olympic LoL matches.

Ugh, the thing is LoL is not a sport. Who knows what those guys were thinking back then with poetry, but if you take a look at the competitions in modern day, all of them are sports in the traditional sense.

I just do not see LoL as having a place besides swimming and track.

Also thank you for finding the link!

I just think that, if town planning could be in the Olympics, I find it hard to imagine why LoL couldn't. x)

Warwick does the physical activity so you don't have to.

Warwick is a rabid werewolf, and should not be shown on television!
Master Yi is the way to go my friends

But anyways, jokes aside. Saying that video gaming requires physical is like saying that playing an xbox is exercising your thumbs. It's just ludicrous.

Check and mate. LoL = Not a sport

I really wouldn't care if it was or wasn't, not like I'd be watching it anyway. It would be pretty funny to see people on the news networks freaking out about it though. Wonder how many anti gaming politicians head's would explode.

All credit for this awesome set goes to Lillian Thorne!

I don't really think it should be in the Olympics. Played on a highly competitive level: yes. But specifically in the Olympics? I don't really think it fits.
