Alright. Here's a brief character skeleton:

There's really no need for equipment- everyone is equiped with a standard issue phaser. There will also be a replicator so anything the players need can be immediately built. Personality should include strengths and weaknesses.

That's part of the mystery. The crew simply received a weird, jumbled message from the federation to lead an assault on the Romulan empire. I should note that there are other starship's doing the assault alongside the Ormato, it's simply leading the attack.
So, the Federation is attacking the Romulan Star Empire without any provocation.

Also, I forgot to put a section for race in the character skeleton. Please include that when planning yours.
NAME: Commander Jason Taggert
POSITION: Executive Officer
RACE: Human
APPEARANCE:

BACKGROUND: Born in 2322 just outside San Fransisco CA, Starfleet was a big part of Jason's upbringing. When Jason's mother became pregnant with him she transfered to the Starfleet academy to become an instructor where she gladly served for 20 years after retireing as a Captain in 2342. Jason's father served in many command positions and Later retired as an Admiral in 2353. Joining Starfleet had always been Jason's dream to follow in his parents footsteps. Reaching the age of 18 Jason Immeadiately registered for the Starfleet Academy but was denied his first entry because his test scores did not beat others. However he was awarded a second chance the following year and was accepted into the Starfleet Academy. Jason excelled in two area's of training he was Top of his class and was even a member of Nova Squadron. He was able to complete his Academy Training with a Degree in Astrophysics.

Though he graduated Jason had a rough term while at the Academy. He barely passed the academy with an Average score. Some believe it was his Father who played a part in him graduateing the Academy. Ever since then Jason has faced nothing but redicule and a small form of disrespect because of those rumors. He has been fighting to prove those rumors are false and he deserve to be in Starfleet. Jason's first assignment was as a Helmsman for the USS Tripoli where he served admiralby for 6 Years. Jason's second posting as Lieutenant was the USS Excalibur. For 13 Years Jason served slowly moving up in position to Lt Commander and as Second officer. During his time there. Lt Commander Taggert was reported as a Superior Command Officer when it came to tactical knowledge and engagements. However when it came to the Diplomatic side of the house he had shown to be less then impressive. After his long career aboard the Excalibur he heard of a 1st officer position opening up aboard a differnt Ambassador class Starship the USS Ormato. Who know's what reason the captain had for selecting him as his first officer. However he knew his life would be different aboard this starship.

PERSONALITY: Jason is a relaxed Officer when it comes to off duty hours and likes to have fun and try to get to know his fellow officers. When it comes time to serious buisness he is all buisness and nothing else. He has learned to trust his Captain's judgement and always takes them at their word. Only a few times had it be documented that he has conflicted with his captain about orders given. However regardless he fells as though he is still out there to prove himself to those doubting fools who still wonder about him and his career.
That looks good. If we see another person showing some interest, or a few hours pass without activity, I'll set up an OOC to try and find the last few people.
