When Naruto was subjected to the Jinchūriki seal most of the Chakra was contained however, a good bit of the chakra was still lose. The loose chakra bound itself to a nearby child, Ino Yamanaka. It went dormant inside her, creating a subconsciousness link to Naruto. It was five years later, when the two meet that was when the two separated chakras of Kurama recognized each other. She had just handed him a necklace she had found and improved upon before Kurama awoke, sending him into his uncontrollable state. Before he could do anything, Killer B and Yugito Nii were already nearby were able to subdue him. They were tasked with capturing him for their village Kumo. After fighting a fierce battle with the ninjas of Konoha, they escaped with Naruto. In Kumo, he was taught to become a tool of Kumo and was forced to forget everything about his past. Ino had forgotten over time Naruto and trained to become the best Kunoichi in the village. It would be when the Chūnin Exams that would bring back the twin Jinchūriki of Kurama.
