Uh... Hi. Um... I'll be the Keeper/Teacher for you guys, yeah? Can I just get a little idea of what's expected of me before I make a CS?
Alright, the OOC Board is up!
"Writing is a form of personal freedom. It frees us from the mass identity we see in the making all around us. In the end, writers will write not to be outlaw heroes of some underculture but mainly to save themselves, to survive as individuals.”

Who can resist the gentle smile of the invidious aristocrat?
I'd feed myself to Aragog's children for that Cup!
Sure! I'd say I'd generally expect at least a couple of good paragraphs per reply with interaction (depending on what's happening at the time), no Mary Sues/Gary Stus, etc. I'll post my CS soon so you can get a general idea of what that might look like as well.![]()

Oh! I meant what would my character be doing for these Elemental students? I figure, as a teacher, the subject could be something tongue-in-cheek like Classic Mythology. But I mean, what would my role be? Would I just stand on the side lines yelling tips or would I have an active role in problem solving? And at what point are we starting--as they figure out who the teacher is, long after when they've trained already or during this "training"?
Should I be think Haymitch from Hunger Games? Lol.

OH. LOL. Sorry, I slept in a bit late. A tad groggy today.
You can have as much freedom as you'd like with this I suppose, I don't want to be someone who limits someone's character to the T.But one way I imagined you could take it is that your character is the one that guards the stones until the new heirs have been found, a duty passed on for generations or through mentors. (S)he's the one that helps teach them what the kingdoms/stones are and used to be (maybe you could be secretive about it and we can use this for plot twists?), and can maybe even help learn to extend and control their powers (or maybe even combat skills in general)? But this is all up to you! However you want to spin the role, I don't really mind.

Yeah, I got you! And I woke up way too early, myself. I looked at the clock, cursed up a storm, and couldn't get back to sleep. It was 5:43. I can still see the numbers.

LOL. I've had those mornings all week - normally followed by the horrified revelation that I had work in an hour. Hence, my one day to sleep in!

I think I just have insomnia. A sick, sick case of insomnia. I just can never sleep when I want to.
I shall get a character up on the OOC for you, yes?
