Academy of Heroes

Before the beginnings of this establishment there was the Hero Guild, a group that those aspiring to become heroes joined to find work and hopefully their fame. Before anyone who wanted to join was allowed into the guild; Warriors, rogues, and mages of all types joined and the guild began expanding. Slowly induction became more and more difficult, fame had to be gained before being allowed in or certain tasks had to be completed, it all depended on where the guild was situated. The elders soon came to the conclusion that the induction rites where quickly getting ridiculous in some senses, aspirants sometimes having to complete impossible tasks set by the guild house leaders that just made it impossible for new recruits to be found. So the idea was passed that a academy be made to train new aspirants and make it easier to sort the best from the hopeless. Thus the Hero Academy was created, a school where the best of the hero's guild taught aspirants how to best perform in their preferred class. Those that graduated where given a badge of heroes, this recognized them as a new member of the guild and allowed them into any of the guild houses throughout the land, making it easier to find new recruits.

The Academy is divided up quite simply, while their is teachers for sub classes like spell swords and paladins the teachings are mainly focused on the three main classes, Rogue, Warrior and Mage. The students divided them selves up by their classes but dorms are hold a mix of students from different classes for diversity.
There is three dorms just like how there is three classes,

The first dorm is the Silver blades, headed by Daniel Sepher, the Mage class teacher.

The second dorm is the Ruby fangs, Key Wright, She is the teacher of the Rogue class.

And the third dorm is Stone Shields. Carlton Blackwater is the head and the Warrior class teacher.

Each dorm is given tasks from time to time to help develop team work between the students and competitions are often played out between them.

The academy itself has a very basic layout, the main entrance faces west with forest surrounding the south and east sides, dorms to the north and the moan complex in the centre, containing all the class rooms, and facilities.

Sounds fun! How many slots will you have, and how will we go forward with more specific classes (such as the paladins and spellswords you mentioned)? Also, what is the RP style? Free, Causal, Advanced?

This will be a Casual RP and it is setup that seniors go on to the more specific sub classes, but we will all be playing as first years so we will focus on the broad classes of Rogue, Warrior and Mage because I plan on playing all three teachers with Key as my main and with everyone in the same dorm.
