    Geomancer. Maybe a bomber as then a shotgun hammer may be fabricated.
    Huge crush on the uber important and gorgeous female.
    'All the Other Reindeer' complex where he feels he is the most useless of the bunch. He contradicts this by remaining optimistic and ambitious, but by no means confident.
    May befriend a character of equal skill that he soon believes he can't keep up with in any setting, even if he is in fact better in all categories.
    Obviously neurotic but somehow not pessimistic. Leave the future a mystery, however as this can lead to several outcomes, either bleak or wonderful. Keep it low at start, and slowly he gets a bit more despairing and then whatever happens happens.
    Overanimated.
    Not the quiet type of shy, but not super loud either. More like a nervous cut-up.
    From his own feeling of inadequacy, he shows off sometimes to try and prove his own worth. If he does it too much it is because he is very anxious.
    Apologizes a lot. Attempts to be very polite so people will like him.

    Keep this bio for the future but do not disclose entirely to the public.

    Character Name: Sydoras Eudora or "Syd"

    Age: 24

    Mageblood Type: Natura

    Favoured Magic Class: For now, Geomancy but has the potential to be equal with Herbamancy.

    Previous Magic Training: He has been at Aerta college for a year. He has not achieved skill higher than an average novice as most of the schooling was in academics rather than magic. From his father he has received some training in close combat. Mostly hand-to-hand but has dabbled in swordplay just in case.

    Race: Naersan Human

    Appearance:

    This is similar to the kind of clothing he wears.

    These are weapons he has based some of his work on. He is able to pull shapes like these straight from the ground as his weapons. The sword is usually light unless the earth below is very dense. The war hammer is obviously heavier, if the stone used is frail, then the head is shaped as a mallet instead of the usually more slender hammer head that is far more effective and can even bury itself into flesh if the shot is aimed well. He learned this from his father.

    Short Bio: Syd's childhood was a solitary one. When he was five years of age his mother abandoned him. The final words she ever said to him was "You are a worthless, filthy mongrel! You ruined my life!" Not very reassuring, is it? Obviously he has his fair share of mental anguish due to this, but he still has yet to brutally murder random women off the street.

    After she was long gone, Sydoras' father was allowed to resign from the Eanian military, of which he was an officer. He cared for his son alone in all matters. Emotional, financial, educational and of course recreational. He was forced into hard labor during nights while Sydoras slept, uneasy sleep for that matter for the first few years. During the days, Syd was trained academically and physically in the case he had to protect those he loved. This was merely play until he was eight, where it began to skip up a few notches every few days. At fourteen he began weapons training, learning every aspect of his weapons before being entrusted and entrusting himself with the devices. The training was not a horribly strict regiment and Sydoras certainly wasn't being taught yet the same discipline taught in a military setting.

    The two were very close as they were truly the only people they had. This made it all the more difficult when Syd's father became dreadfully ill. Sydoras was sixteen when he was told that his father had been sick for a very long time but sucked it up so he could provide for his son. He asked Syd to work, so they could continue to afford food and lodging. He worked hard and dutifully for his dear father.

    Over a year ago, his father had gotten better, to the point where he no longer needed support. They had until now ignored how Sydoras had sprung a boulder in the middle of their neighbor's house a month after getting his first job. Now that he was no longer required to support the two of them, he was allowed to apply for the Aerta College of Magics, something he had been wanting to do for a long time since the little accident.

    When Sydoras had arrived, he very quickly realized he had absolutely no experience with social settings since he was five. And even then it was rocky. Of course, he became socially awkward. He's a little better now, especially among the men, as they weren't the ones that ripped a piece of his very soul and tossed it to the curb like wadded paper. Sometimes this is what he thinks about. With the time there he had of course met a few of the students who are now blazing through their paths of accomplishment. He had a few times helped Karnage in his blacksmithing. Never did he do anything that could be done with mistakes. He was only allowed to do less than that. Similar help was made with Uicle's experiments, though they were less fiendish than before his arrival to Aerta. He has met Lucilia and has studied magic with her under the same teacher. They have personally studied Natura together a few times. They aren't chums by any means but she may be able to more easily recognize Sydoras than the others.

    The most evident of the lot to Syd is Pylia Keltafer, the one of them whom he has a seemingly enormous infatuation with. Like a teenaged boy blinded by his own hormones, he has allowed his idea of her to cloud his thoughts night and day. He really hasn't made any real attempts to 'seduce' her, but has at least a few times gathered the courage to speak to her. But he is a bit of a trainwreck (whatever that word means) around her, not nearly as bad as around other women.

    Recently he has grown in the social aspect, not showing so much conversational ineptitude anymore. Instead he has become more of a nervous cut-up than an overly shy fellow.

    Good Attributes: He has ambition despite his hangups and a will to learn. He is a quick learner after he gets the swing of things, which for the College of Magics happens to be about now. With the amount of alone time he has been allowed, he has learned to be inventive.

    Bad Attributes: A little mentally 'unstable', this isn't only bad because he can simply get better or get much, much worse. Who knows? This applies in enough facets of his life that it is more like five substantially bad attributes.

    Other: I have not disclosed all about Sydoras, he has had a few more traumatizing events in childhood, hence the mental instability. He also is more complex in his personality. But you shall discover more later.

    Age: Twenty eight

    Favoured Magic Class: Geomancy

    Previous Magic Training: She has no experience with her own mageblood besides occasionally toying with the shape of some runestone of her own accord and using it so she may etch runes in stone with paintbrushes.

    Race: Forest Elf and Human

    Appearance: Above is a painting of Raena gazing into a Cyro Crystalloid. She has pale skin, sky blue hair and green and blue tint around her eyes that resembles make up. This is a direct result of one of her runes gone wrong in her early years of learning them. She was attempting to paint the walls of her bed chamber with it and instead her skin and hair are stained for life. But she has always had incredibly bright blue eyes. Raena is of a slightly petite, slightly curvaceous frame which she prides herself in.

    Biography: The beginning of her story starts at childhood, like most. Her every day world was wrought with trial and disappointment. The largest of these trials was Raena's mother, Redgina. Redgina was a horrible woman. She had lain with enough men that the only thing she knew of Raena's father was that he was probably an Elf. Even with a daughter at home she would bring home a different man every other day, never paying Raena any mind. Some of these men even abused the child.

    Every few months Redgina would drag Raena to a different town when all the pubs were empty of patrons she had not yet slept with. During one of these moves, sixteen year old Raena fled. She had been used to the degradation and taking care of herself long enough until she had taken a look at everyone else's lives, realizing that this was punishment she could no longer endure.

    Now Raena was poor and alone, begging at the corners of the street. She needed a job, and happened upon a gang of thieves one day. By some miracle she wasn't abused or killed by these men instead she was recruited. Raena gave these pirates an idea. All across Eania were churches, each carrying a trove of art and precious metals to please their gods. These churches trusted the populace and were open to raiding. From that day on she and her new family traveled all around Eania for two years raiding these churches.

    However one day Raena was scouting out a new victim alone. She was going to steal a relic when she was stopped by a priestess. To her surprise Raena was not harmed nor chastised nor incarcerated, instead the priestess was friendly. Maybe even loving. What she received was what she had been waiting for for years and that was simply to feel loved somehow. Raena was in tears while she told her of the pirates about to target their church. The thieves were captured by knights and Raena was adopted into the church.

    In her next several years of life she lived among the monks and priestesses. For a good while she was searching for a way to give back to her newest family. It was almost as if Billant himself was answering her prayers as she found runecrafting through the teachings of an Esyrie priestess. Through these teachings she learned every major and many minor facets to runecarving. After three years she decided to experiment with them. Soon she found that a much more efficient way of going about it was to create stone machines powered by runes. With this she was able to benefit the entire town by supplying them with automated wells, crops, police and almost carriages but the design was too complex. She became a charitable but mad genius with these things.

    Raena knew that supplying her town with runes wouldn't be enough for a long time now but a few months ago she did something about it. The priests urged her to spread her charity to all. Then she remembered a rumor she had heard nigh on five years ago. The academy of Death Hold had been rebuilt in the image of light under the name Twilight College. A fortification against Kudd's hordes. She took hold of her runes and some food to set off at length. It was done with courage as she did not wish to leave her family. In the few months she has been in Twilight College she hasn't done much in the way of friendships yet but she is surely beginning to prove her worth. Most of the teachers have orders put in for her rune contraptions and as a master in the craft she is even teaching one of teachers in this art by the name of Karnage.

    Good Attributes: Master Runecarver. Very much a charitable genius of sorts. Quick enough to evade capture or injury. Artist and scientist.

    Bad Attributes: Very weak. Not strong in either mageblood or combat. Psychologically distressed. Dependent on attention.

    Tiny. That is your world, tiny. All you can see around you are mountains close by at every angle and the valley in which your village is situated. You and your people cannot recall history beyond too few of the generations before you and as far as your knowledge spans you are the only humans alive. The world that you know is brutal. Every morning is a race of work. You must do everything you possibly can in the small hours of light you are permitted before you retreat to your cabins. Night outside is hell. If you are caught there with no shelter or no light the terrible monsters from below swallow you up or worse, drag you to the pits they call home.

    How is it that you, the sole manifestations of mankind survive in this tiny little world? It is simple. You are blessed. The gods of this harsh nature have decided to grace you in your quest of simple survival. The first of these blessings is the blood from which you were sewn. A solitary couple, said to have been born from the gods' breath created this village. They brought with them knowledge of language, technology and worship from lands far beyond and even then shrouded too deeply in the past for them to remember.

    But your knowledge is not your only blessing, child. The select of your people are imbued with the power of the Breath. This is the ability to perform great feats which have allowed your people to shape the land around them for greater survival and carve from the earth a proper home. The shamans have said that the Breath is a shade of this world's creation, others have said it is the energy the gods used to create it. When manifested in humanity it grants the power to perform a great variety of tasks from ripping columns from the earth to build the bones of shelter or send forth tongues of flame to lash the beasts from below back to their holes.

    Now to the final question. What is there to do now? You and several other young, able-bodied villagers were selected by the Chieftain to explore the lands beyond the borders of Hope, your village. It will be a dangerous and arduous task indeed, from which it is very likely none of you will return. But you have accepted in the name of your gods, for you have been commanded by them to spread good seed among the cursed and scorched lands beyond. But what will you find outside your tiny little world?

    ~The Breath~

    This is the force that has kept life going after the fall of the old world. It's appearance is as mysterious as the past itself, but it's uses are many and obvious. As it stands to the village of Hope, the Breath is available in many different sorts. At birth, a ritual can be performed on a human that will predict their type of Breath if they have this gift. After the Breath has been unlocked and trained for several years another ritual can be performed, more of a coming of age ceremony for the blessed, and when done the affected either can learn a new group of the Breath or become far more advanced in what they were born with. The groups in questions are as so.

One to two paragraphs is the minimum depending on the circumstances. If you are locked in pure dialogue then do a collaboration post to prevent one-liners.

    3~ Teamwork: Because of the way we are doing things in this RP we need teamwork. If you have an idea then speak up, no answer is incorrect. If you have a question then ask, we do not need an original member of this rp to be less informed than a brand new recruit a few months after this starts. Try to work with the rest of us in the IC and the OOC as we'll gladly listen to whatever you have to say. Lastly if something is wrong be honest and detailed about it so we may learn from our mistakes. You don't have to be a jackass about it but being silent is worse.

    4~ The Magic Word: Read these rules and you can use "Breathe" as the password to let your CS become applicable. Use it at the very end of your CS in any way you wish.

    Name: Raitula

    Age: 29

    Gender: Female

    Personality: Raitula on the outside is kind, noble, brave hearted, and adventurous. While she does have these traits, this is not her. Because of her Breath she has had to put on a charade for the entire village. Not only of her Breath but of herself as well. In truth she is afraid. Not of an untimely death at the hand of a demon but of ostracision, or worse to be burned alive if they were to believe she would consort with the cave dwellers. This has made her secretive and unable to trust anyone with her darkest secrets. Raitula will not even allow her friends to become closer with her for this fear that they will know. Because of this, even deeper inside she yearns to tell someone all she can. Beside these issues she is still kind at heart and will lend a helping hand when needed. Raitula's motivation is adventure and for those around her to like her.

    The Breath: Sessilik, hides her chanting as prayer

    Biography: At a very young age her parents found out her Breath. They kept it a secret from her for years while they tried to decide what to do about it. At age eight she found out herself and her parents explained it all, and how important it was that she would tell no one. Raitula was scared to death. It was at that point where she in her own mind ceased to be normal.

    Now, because of her desire to cover all things wrong with lies, she has become respected as a brave hunter. Raitula is notorious for being a non-Breather who can expertly hunt without assistance. It is a sham because all she needs to do is hum while looking at her target and soon the animal is helplessly snared by dark tendrils. She does have some skill in it but hardly as much as most of the hunters of the tribe. What she is truly best as is gathering and crafting, both of which she needs no help of her breath. Recently she has made a tool that can chip away stone to reach the harder materials inside. It is called the stone pick.

    What has given Raitula the honor of leading the expedition was when she saved the life of a little girl who was dragged into the caves by the beasts below. Raitula was off hunting, which for her was mostly gazing at nature whilst eating berries, and she heard screams in the distance. She chased after the sound and found marks leading to a cave. She was gone for three nights and returned with the girl in her arms and a demon's skull strapped to her waist. She has the reputation of being the only one to have ever survived a night in hell. Having never led a thing in her life besides a few games, Raitula was chosen to head the exploration team.

    Throwaway rp idea: Superheroes+Zombie rp. The zombies are hyper mutating and near unkillable, meaning that the only people alive are the superheroes that are immune to infection.

    Throwaway: Rp where a group of random people are thrown into an alternate universe together where everyone who is good is evil and evil is good. And some of the doppelgangers of the cast are evil overlords of the entire planet.
