Miria recovered from the worst of the effects of that spell. She sidestepped so she was behind the blue orc and then swiped her hand in a sweeping motions, decay magic suffusing her hand and putrefying the orc's flesh.

Though she could tell it was working, the force of each charnel touch as she came to call it was highly variable. Although more importantly she could heal herself with it as her body was essentially undead in regards to positive and negative energy.

The Warforge held his ground letting out a punch that was absorbed once again as the Orc (blue) raised up his shield to block the blow. However the agile Miria moved and laid her corrupting hand on the Orc once more. The flesh began to wither once more as the blood pumped hard out of the chest wound. It was too much for the Orc, it fell to its knees and dropped as its broken teeth and blood were now set in a semi-withered corpse!

The orcs were dropping fast and their spell caster stepped up to attack Val which would just not do. Pash quickly spun around the fallen orc and drove one of his blades into the back of the orc magic user. The gnome smiled as he felt the arcane magic bleed out of his victim and into himself.

Seeing that Tiana was right in the line of fire with the orc, she backed off and hit behind Adamus. "Watch it! Another one, 12 o clock!" She said as she continued to relocate. She had heard of a friend of hers who had gotten too close to a warforged... She had nearly died in the process. She didn't want that to happen to her. Drawing up some small ammounts of magical power, she launched a ball of glowing white light at the orc she had seen, acting as a marker light for others to target more easily, (she hoped) and to hopefully blind him.

Pash darted forward and buried his dagger deep into the side of the robed Orc (grey). The Orc shifted slightly from pain and something more, however the lights that appeared just before his fellow in splint mail (pink) kept him guessing what was going on.

The Orc (pink) reacting held up his war hammer and rushed forward, swinging his great hammer at the frail caster. As this occurred the Orc (green) with the large bow altered targets, taking interest in the Cat-person they had originally caught. He notched an arrow and fired!

And then the arrow flew and struck Dvou in the side, in the same place where the previous wound was dealt. Hissing out of pain, Dvou fell down, bleeding, whispering out a curse on Artathian language and finally settled down on floor, lying. Trying to get the bleeding stopped, Dvou was indeed helpless...

There were few things worse than your target shaking off the effects of your hard cast spell. One of those qualifying incidents were said target shaking off your spell, taking it somewhat personally, and coming up close in order to vent their frustrations at your gall for thinking of casting at them in the first place. So... three guesses as to what happened when the grey clad orc shook off the effects of his spell.

Revenge does not necessarily have to be served cold. Though, negative energy did have an associated nip to it. So perhaps the saying did apply.

Val hissed. There were faithful adherents who preached of love and tolerance and peace, turning the other cheek and such. Fortunately, Val did not ascribe to that particular philosophy, and he was also equipped with two sets of lovely claws that also shared his non-adherence. Said member slid out and simply begged to meet this wielder of negative energy (cleric?)

The Orc (grey) in robes landed a good strike filled with negative energy on the new Cat-person, however the Cat-caster wasn’t going down without a fight. Clawed paws reached out to strike back! The Orc managed to block one hand with his staff, but the second raked across his face bringing streak of blood over his ugly face. He took a five foot step back and began a spell that caused the area to be filled with an obscuring mist!

Miria could see a gravely wounded Dvou before the mist set in. Miria noted the pink orc as a threat and decided to fix things.

Pash was making good progress with the spell extraction on the orc magic user. The orc moved out of range and summoned up mist that would make attacking much harder unless you are right on top of the target. The good part was that it made anyone observing him have a hard time keep track of him. He pushed his advantage and vanished from sight. He crept up next to the orc and drove his blade into the orc.
